i-i almost missed a step because she was still reeling from shock. Our son!! Yue, her friend and Liang her husband had a son!! If it was a joke, it was not funny and i-i planned to say this to her husband. This idea was cleared up quickly when she heard her mother-in-law's next words.
"Good boy, co here and greet your grandmother. You have no idea how long I have been waiting to see you. I have been collecting gifts for you from the day you were born."

The mont would have been touching if not for the fact that what was happening was outrageous and immoral. i-i processed the words her mother-in-law had just uttered. She had long known about the birth of this child and had been waiting to et him. It ant she had known of her son's extra marital affair and supported it. All those gifts she was hoarding in her bedroom closet had an owner after all.
In the beginning, i-i assud that they were Mingzhu's but had realized that she was wrong when her stingy mother-in-law never gave Mingzhu any gift on her birthdays. The old woman had a biased ntality, she preferred male children to female ones. From the day Mingzhu was born, it was if i-i had given birth to Mrs. Sun co-wife or nesis. Mrs. Sun did not like Mingzhu and the feeling had beco mutual over the years.
Mrs. Sun called Mingzhu a money loser, Mingzhu called her grandmother a free loader. i-i had long given up on reconciling them.
Mingzhu tagged on i-i's hand. i-i looked at her daughter, feeling guilty, she wanted to apologize for everything that was happening. The words however stuck in her throat for she was not responsible for what was happening. It was Mo Liang that had cheated so what did she have to feel guilty about?
"Mommy, did that free loader really call that boy her grandson?"
"Mingzhu, why don't you go back to your bedroom first. Mommy has sothing to deal with." i-i sent her daughter back upstairs.
She waited and made sure that i-i vanished from her sight completely before marching downstairs. She was now ready to explode on the cheaters.
"Mo Liang.." she called her husband's na sternly as she approached the group. "What a good husband you are, when others travel out of space, they bring ho aliens. You on the other hand brought a mistress. Am I mistaken, maybe its not a mistress but an alien in cheap make-up."
She had no kind words for Yue or Mo Liang. Mrs. Sun was in the process of transferring a green jade bangle from her hand to Yue when she reached them.
i-i snatched the bangle and threw it onto the floor, smashing it into six different sized pieces. Sothing that should have been passed to a daughter-in-law was being passed to a mistress!!
"Mrs. Sun, I bought you this bracelet the first ti I visited your ho. If you don't want it anymore, I am happy to help you get rid of it. The floor is more suited for it than this two legged trash." i-i looked from her mother-in-law to Yue.
She looked at the child that had run to hide by Mo Liang's side. He looked like his father, they even shared the sa red mole on the tip of their left ears. How could she not have seen it at the airport? It was so glaringly obvious.
"i-i what are you trying to do?" Mo Liang pushed Yue behind him, protecting her with his own body.
Yue pinched the side of Mo Liang's shirt acting as if she frightened.
"i-i, you useless thing, how dare you break my bracelet? Do you know how much it costs?" Mrs. Sun scread.
"One hundred sixty thousand yuan!" i-i tilted her head and yelled the price to her mother-in-law. She turned her head back to her husband, betrayal smothered her eyes completely. "Mo Liang explain this to . Why is Yue's son your child?"
Mo Liang clenched his jaw, he had known this mont was coming and had prepared for it. He had no love for i-i anymore, it was ti to remove her from his life. "i-i, I will be honest with you. Yue and I had a hard ti after the death of her husband and we found comfort in each other.
We fell in love naturally and Hao is our son. I have thought long and hard about to break this news to you and now is as good a ti as any."
i-i opened her mouth and burst into laughter, harsh sounds poured from her mouth. "Naturally!! naturally!" she repeated the word twice. "You fell in love naturally! Mo Liang what is natural about bedding your dead friend's widow before his corpse turned cold?"
Mrs. Sun raised her hand to slap i-i but she saw the slap coming from the peripheral of her eyes and shoved her mother-in-law away.
While Mo Liang rushed to his mother's aid, i-i looked at the co-conspirators and said in a deep angry voice. "If any one lays a hand on they should order for a coffin first. After it is delivered, we can have a fair fight but I promise you that I will send you to hell even if it costs my life."
"i-i, have you lost your mind? You are scaring us." Yue said, her voice was teary and trembling.
i-i raised her hand and slapped Yue on the cheek.
"Shut up, you are a mistress, your opinion is not needed here. Even concubines in the old era knew how to respect the main wife better than you. Since you want to be my husband's concubine, kneel down and serve tea first. "
Yue gasped, Mo Liang switched from comforting his mother to comforting his mistress. He sent i-i a disapproving quick glare. "i-i, don't think that I cannot touch you because of who your parents are. I am under the protection of the emperor now while you are nothing more than a forr heiress that cut off ties with her family.
Look at yourself, they don't want you back anymore either, otherwise why have they ignored you for so many years?
