Chi Lian mad Bingwen sign an ironclad contract. If he betrayed her or any Chi or Jun, death would be his fate.

When Bingwen left the office, his legs were shaking. As soon as his feet touched the ground outside of Phoenix tower, he threw up everything he had eaten.

Bingwen had been so afraid that he felt ill. His body was burning up. As a doctor, he could tell that he was coming down with a fever. It was so sudden and he could not fathom why his body was reacting like that.

Was this a sign of fear or had more ingredients been added to the al he had eaten?

He did not know but he stumbled slowly to his car and instructed the brain of the self driving car to send him to the nearest hospital.

Outside station16, which was a police building, Mo Liang was seething, boiling with anger as he had been made to spend an entire day in a police cell. He would have been there longer if the Empress had not used her family connections in the police to bail him out.

The lawyers that the Empress sent gave him so advise, including staying away from Jun ilin. They were not in the know of the Empress’s plan.

Tang Yue was the family mber that ca to pick him up, along with their son Mo Hao. Mo Hao was sulking because his mother had refused to buy him a full Phoenix train set toy which cost a lot of money.

Unaware of the problems his parents were facing, he complained as soon as his father entered the car. "Dad, mom refused to buy a Phoenix train."

Mo Liang gave Tang Yue a questioning look. He expected her to buy it for him.

There was tension in the car, they were not as happy, stress free and wasteful as they once were.

"I don’t have a job. There is no money coming into my account. I have had to pay off all the companies that sued us after Hao was dropped as a brand endorser." Tang Yue reminded him. "If you give the money for the train, I will buy it for him." She bit out.

Mo Liang cracked his knuckles. Her tone did not delight him and neither did her presence right now. "My money has more important things to do. You are his mother, how hard is it to buy a train set? I never gave Jun ilin any money but she used to buy all of Mingzhu’s things and send her to school while also providing for us. If she could make it work, why can’t you?"

Tang Yue turned around and put noise blocking headphones over Mo Hao’s head. She also put smart glasses over his eyes and connected him to cartoons. Mo Liang had a feeling that they were about to get into a fight.

"I am not in the mood to argue Yue, I just spent a whole day in a police cell with three drunkards, a thief and a pervert. I am hungry, my hair is a ss and I am sure I stink because one of the drunkards threw up on ." He twisted his nose in disgust. "If you want to fight, save it for another day."

"When." She shoved his left shoulder. "When do you want to express my wrath for being compared to Jun ilin? So, are you saying that she is a better mother than ? The woman that raised a barbaric little bitch that is always fighting is a better mother than ." She screeched like a furious bird whose nest had been destroyed and eggs shattered.

Mo Liang winced. "Stop shouting."

Tang Yue was frustrated about so many things that the dam of anger burst beyond what she was prepared for. She raised her hand and slapped him. "You bastard, you ungrateful bastard, after all that I have done for you. How could you say that she is better than ?"

Mo Liang had already caught her hands to keep her from committing anymore acts of violence. "Have you lost your mind? How dare you slap ?"

"Who cares if I slapped you?" Tang Yue scread. "I will kill you if that is what it takes for you to get your senses back. Do you think Jun ilin enjoyed bearing all the expenses of the family on her shoulders alone? It was because she was stupid not to know better and leave you in ti.

Also, you left her no choice so don’t try to make this seem like so kind of superwoman move. She had a deadbeat for a husband..."

She winced as her shoulder and a side of her head hit the car window and door after she was shoved back with brutal force. Tears ford in her eyes imdiately and she started crying.

Mo Liang was stunned by what he had done and he looked back to see if Mo Hao had noticed anything. Their son was smiling, enjoying the cartoons he was watching. Sighing in relief, he reached out and touched Yue shoulder. "Yue...." he started.

She slapped his hand away. "Don’t touch ."

"Yue, I am sorry." Mo Liang apologized, and he continued trying to hold her and comfort her. He was afraid that she might turn the car around and return to police station, claiming assault.

He had just been arrested for cris that fell under dostic violence, he did not want to return for more cris related to the category, with a different woman. It would look like a pattern and that would not reflect well on him.

The only person to bla for what had just happened was Jun ilin. If she had not had him arrested, he would not be in such a bad mood and there would be no fight with Yue.

"Yue, honey, I love you. I am so sorry for pushing you right now but I just wanted you to calm down. You know , I am not a violent man. I don’t beat won, I am not a monster like that." Mo Liang explained with a slight pinch of desperation in his slick voice. "Jun ilin is the cause of this unpleasantness, we would not be fighting if not for her."

Tang Yue nodded. If Jun ilin had not done such a good job at raising her daughter, A Yang would not be making comparisons.

"A Yang...." She started.

"Yue..." he whispered her na, turned her around and kissed her quickly. As long as he sprinkled so sugar, Tang Yue would fall back in line.
