Later, at night when the Jun family t for dinner Mingzhe got a phone call from the hospital. After responding with only two words "got it" he hung up.
He pulled i i out of the private dining room and led her outside to the hallway. It was empty at the mont, but all the other private dining dining rooms were occupied.
"What is it? Has my riot started already?" i i grabbed onto Mingzhe’s arm. "Don’t tell that you sent an incompetent person to do the job and that fool survived."
"The riot is scheduled for the day after tomorrow." He told her. "It will be national liberation day and everyone will be distracted. It is a good ti to start chaos. Don’t worry, uncle spider is already inside the prison. He will personally take care of the matter."
i i was relieved to hear that. That problem could be considered taken care of.
Mingzhe leaned against the wall. "I pulled you out to tell you that Tang Yue had a miscarriage, self induced. Apparently she has been collecting dicine for a while and preparing for it. She will be released from quarantine any ti from now. And Mo Liang is up and about as well."
"I knew that wouldn’t take long." She said with a sneer.
"Will lightning strike again?" he asked her.
She shook her head. "I already got my divorce certificate. No matter what he does now, the marriage is over. There is no going back. I asked Junjie to intervene if Mo Liang tries to appeal in court."
"It won’t stop him from bothering you."
i i laughed at her brother’s words. "I will just keep beating him up. It is actually better if he bothers . I can get payback for all the years of suffering I endured at his hands."
Mingzhe was not completely on board with his sister’s plan. "I will get you and Mingzhu a restraining order against him." He pushed himself off the wall, suddenly filled with energy. "I had forgotten that we planned to file a case against him with the police. Two attempted murder charges...." He threw his fist in the air. "Now that you have a divorce certificate, I will get right on it."
He opened the door and sent her back into the room. Then, he closed left, to make a few calls.
Inside the room in the anti, everyone was being forced to shift because Muyang wanted to sit next to his daughter.
"Must we do this?" Grandpa Jun groaned as he tried to defend his last remaining braised abalone from his wife’s greedy hands.
"We must do it, I want my baby girl to sit next to ." Muyang insisted.
As soon as i i sat down, he placed so food on a plate for her. "Eat."
Chi Lian placed food on Jun Yi’s plate. "You are my baby girl."
Jun Yi shrugged, her emotions were not disturbed just because her father was giving one of her older sisters attention. "I am just glad he is not focusing on so much anymore."
Rose had declared independence early, i i had left ho and that left her to play the role of daddy’s favorite daughter. This ant playing silly gas on line and off line, washing each other’s hair, wearing matching father-daughter outfits, having tea parties, playing pranks on her mother and more activities.
They were so many that he took up sixty percent of her ti whenever he was ho. This ant she spent less ti with her pets.
With i i back, Jun Yi was glad that so of the focus had moved on to another daughter. Her father was not even complaining about the fact that she was feeding herself and her rabbit, Bell pepper at the sa ti.
Everyone had left their pets in the care of assistants. She had brought Bell pepper along because the bunny was a little moody ever since their arrival in Sea city.
"i i, why haven’t you shot a comrcial for your space camp?" Great great grandpa Jun suddenly a question that was not related to any of the topics that they had been discussing.
"Great idea." Rose said cheerfully. "We can squeeze you in as one of the sponsors for tea with a princess."
Muyang decided to pitch in too. "I think opening a second branch of the camp is a great idea. What do you think of Sea city? Just tell , your dad. I will buy you land anywhere you wish in this city. What do you think of a space camp near the sea?"
"That actually sounds aweso." Chi Lian put her hands together and made her fingers dance as she imagined it. Rather than a camp that was mostly in doors, this one could be mostly outdoors.
"Dad, I would also not mind having my veterinary hospital by the sea." Jun Yi spoke up, batting her eyes at her father and looking very hopeful. "I am willing to spend one hundred million on land acquisition alone."
"Woohoo!" Jun Jie scread and he clapped.
Others followed, clapping for her as well. She was finally taking the first step to establishing her dream animal hospital.
"I will help but it will have to be in the capital. I do not trust you to run around out here on your own." Muyang nodded slowly.
"Who else wants property by the sea?" Great great grandpa Jun asked.
It was a silly question, everyone raised their hand. Even Mingzhu who had no idea why all the adults were raising their hands did the sa.
The little girl was also confused as to why she could not see so of her cousins from the Chi and Jang family. Why were they dining separately?
Most importantly, where was her daddy and grandma Feng?
"Okay, I will distribute it equally among you all." Great great grandpa Jun asked them to put down their hands. "I am an old man, assets like these an nothing much to anymore." From under the table, he pulled out an envelope, a Santa hat and long white beard.
Dramatically and unnecessarily, he laughed in a deep voice. "Ho-ho-ho, who is ready to get their inheritance from today?"
Again, every hand was raised. Mingzhu did not know what inheritance was but she raised her hand. If everyone wanted it then she wanted it too. She knew Santa brought gifts and they were toys.
"From the youngest to the eldest." He said. "First up is the baby of the family, Jun Mingzhu."
Mingzhu jumped up excitedly, "That’s , that’s , I am Jun Minghzu."
