After sending off Mingzhu to school, i i went to the hospital with two of her lawyers to serve Mo Liang the divorce papers. One of her lawyers recomnded that she wear a face mask but she turned him down. She had nothing to hide so why be ashad.

There were mixed reactions on the faces of the people in the hospital, from staff to patients, they all had an opinion about her. So were fascinated, others looked at her with mockery, so disgust. In a surprising twist of events, she even noticed hate.

As she walked down the hallway of the VIP wards, she thought about that hate and why she would be receiving it but she could not pinpoint a specific reason.

She did have a list however, like, Mo Liang’s fanatic fans, those who disapproved of her allowing Mrs. Sun to kneel. There were so confused people blaming her for the threats Mo Hao was receiving. Even those that thought she was making a big deal out of this matter by divorcing as an affair was not sothing they thought was worth breaking a family up over.

There were many reasons, but she did not care, it was her life not theirs. She pretended not to notice and walked to the room.

Two bodyguards were standing outside, they looked tired and hungry.

"I am his ex wife." i i shared. She had brought along their marriage certificates which she showed them.

She could have used her strength to push them away but i i did not want to cause commotion in the hospital.

They looked at each other, one shrugged and then they stepped away. She pushed the door open, went in and her gaze t with the side of Mo Liang’s face. He was sitting on the bed, reading a book.

"You have finally co." Mo Liang raised his head, turning it to the right to look at her. "Jun ilin, you are really heartless. I walked through fire for you but when I was struck by lightning, you could not even take a minute out of your ti to visit . Why are your hands empty, where is my breakfast?" He questioned angrily.

"Tell your mistress to cook your breakfast." she answered.

He raised the book and slapped it on the bed.

"Jun ilin, I have already explained what happened between and Tang Yue. I even went on national Tv and apologized to you. I have sacrificed my face and dignity for you, what more do you want from ? How could you make my mother kneel before you? Where is your virtue as a daughter-in-law?"

She remained silent, not even surprised by his statents.

Calmly, she replied, "Which eye of yours saw making your mother kneel? She did so of her own accord. Also, I have never asked you to apologize to I told you to apologize to my parents. I am going to add Mingzhu to that list, apologize to her. Mo Liang each day that passes I realize more and more that you are truly worthless as a father."

"So who do you think will make a better father? The emperor!" He threw the book out and it landed at her feet.

i i did not flinch, she remained still and scoffed. "The emperor!! Mo Liang, are you hearing yourself? Why does he have to do with this?"

"Aren’t you sleeping with him? I have always suspected the relationship between the two of you. n and won cannot just be friends, the two of you have been screwing around behind my back. How else do you explain what he is doing to now? He cancelled all the plans to promote that the royal family was supporting.

He even took back his royal agents and left with no support. My house was blown up, and yet I have been left unprotected as a national asset. If he is not taking revenge for you, what else could be the cause?"

i i shook her head. How had she ever married this idiot? What had she ever seen in him? "n and won cannot be friends, why didn’t you say this to the audience on family ties when you were blabbing lies? When you were defending your pure friendship with Tang Yue, why didn’t you say these exact words?"

"We are different, Tang Yue has always been weak since she was a child. She needed to be closer...." he blurted out more nonsense that she could not hear.

As she watched him defending his mistress and their friendship while interrogating her and questioning her relationships, she thought back on all the tis that Tang Yue had needed help over the years. Despite having a husband, sohow it was always Mo Liang that played the role of her savior or did the duties of her husband.

Now that the scales had fallen from her eyes, she was beginning to see all the signs that she had missed. What married woman needed her male friend to screw in a light bulb, move furniture around, sleep at her sick bed, escort her when she was shopping. Those were so of the excuses that Tang Yue had used over the years to get Mo Liang to go to her.

She never questioned it because whenever she t Yue and Caleb, they appeared to be thriving in their marriage. Also, Yue was like a sister to her so the thought that they were cheating never occurred to her.

It did not matter anymore anyway, she was getting divorced after all.

"I don’t care, you two can be as white as snow if you wish. You can even take an oath to live as siblings for the rest of your lives and share the sa surna, it is none of my business. I just ca here today to deliver the divorce papers." She turned around and opened the door.

The lawyers she had co with entered the room. It was a man and woman, the woman opened a briefcase and brought out a physical copy of the divorce docunt.

i i took it, she placed it on a table and signed it. Then she approached the bed and handed it to Mo Liang.

"Sign it and we can go our separate ways."

Mo Liang took the papers, looked her in the eye and tore them to pieces. "Divorce! I will not give you a divorce so easily. I am your husband, I love you and I want to get back together.

However, if you want to divorce so badly so that you can go and be with that dog emperor you must compensate . The two of you have sared my reputation while keeping yourselves clean. If you don’t want to tell people what you are doing, pay for my silence. I want one hundred billion."
