Chapter 84: I Give Up!
She did not know what Gu Zheng was thinking. She only thought that Gu Zheng was saying odd things. What did he an by she couldn’t show her face? The ng family had already bullied her to such a point but Gu Zheng did not allow her to fight back? What kind of logic was this?!
He said so much just because he did not want her to look for trouble with the ng family. In the end, it’s just because he still cares about his relationship with ng Wan as childhood sweethearts. He also cared about the collaboration between the ng and Gu families, so he did not want her to provoke the ng family!

“Explain my *ss! I don’t need your explanation!” Qiao Xi looked at the structure of this car, then at the road outside. She gritted her teeth. “If you want to protect the ng family, then go ahead. But if you want to stop from dealing with the ng family, then I’ll tell you that’s impossible!”
Gu Zheng frowned. Did she not understand human language? He only asked her not to go to the ng family’s banquet to take revenge. As for what she wanted to do, he would help her do it!
Gu Zheng was just about to open his mouth to explain when he heard the sound of sothing shattering. The next mont, Gu Zheng’s pupils dilated. “Qiao Xi!”
Qiao Xi’s body moved nimbly out of the car window. She was grabbing onto the handle of the car door. The car that was moving at high speed made her look like a kite as she flew in the air.
Gu Zheng’s heart was in his throat as fear rapidly spread throughout his body. He was stiff and did not know what to do. He was afraid that Qiao Xi would not let go of the car handle and she would fall like a leaf. He was even more afraid that she would disappear from his life in such a tragic manner.
He was afraid. He was very afraid that sothing would happen to Qiao Xi!
However, Qiao Xi did not realize it and snorted coldly. She did not need to ask Gu Zheng anything else. After all, he had already made his decision between her and the ng family. Thinking about this, she said straightforwardly, “You can protect the ng family if you love them. I give up!”
With that, she let go.
Gu Zheng slamd on the brakes. “Qiao Xi, are you tired of living?!” He hurriedly got out of the car to check but found no one behind the vehicle.
Jumping out of a speeding car was tantamount to courting death. Gu Zheng’s heart was pounding furiously. He almost could not control his body. His legs were weak, but he still insisted on walking toward the cliff beside the road.

Gu Zheng’s breathing trembled. He took out his phone and shouted at Song Shiyu to bring his n over.
Ten minutes later, Song Shiyu arrived with the bodyguards. After understanding the situation, Song Shiyu ordered the others to start the search in shock. It was a steep cliff, so they did not make much progress during the search and rescue. Song Shiyu looked at the road and then at the cliff. There was no one and no blood at all.
Had Madam gone mad? How could she jump out of the car? Song Shiyu gulped and wanted to say sothing, but he swallowed his words when he saw Gu Zheng’s gloomy face.
The search and rescue lasted for more than an hour but there was still nothing. The only thing Song Shiyu found was a very thin silver wire and a piece of paper under a rock not far away.
“Um… President Gu, our people can’t find any traces of Madam… but they found the note Madam left behind.”
Gu Zheng’s heart jumped.
It was a napkin. A few words were hastily written with an eyeliner: [See you at the ng family’s banquet, scumbag!]

He put the napkin into his pocket and waved at Song Shiyu. “Let’s go to the ng family’s banquet.”
