Chapter 1776: The Manifestation of True Devil: Part-1
Eternal Chains… the cursed restraints that had caught him, dragged him into the Eternal Prison, and sealed away his powers.
Even after he escaped the Eternal Prison, those chains that had wrapped themselves around his limbs refused to leave him. Instead, they transformed into slender silver-coloured bracelets that remained locked around his wrists and ankles.
They were no longer chains… yet they continued sealing his powers just the same.
But had anyone ever stopped to ask why he was wearing bracelets?
Not his wives.
Not Dora.
Not the Prophetess.
Not even the countless advanced scanners, bio-spectral analysers, quantum resonance detectors, or energy-frequency sensors that had examined his body countless times.
Nothing.
Not once had anyone ever mentioned the bracelets.
Not because nobody cared… But because they couldn’t even perceive them.
None of his wives, not Dora… not even Mary… no one had ever seen the bracelets. Otherwise, Mary would have realised long ago that his powers had been pletely fucking sealed.
Except for one person.
The very person whose limbs were bound by those invisible restraints.
Only Aether could see them.
Only Aether could feel their icy weight pressing against his flesh.
Only Aether could touch them.
Even after disguising himself with illusory techniques, Aether could still see those silver bracelets wrapped around his wrists and ankles. And now… the bracelet around his right wrist remained permanently fractured, a thin crack stretching across its flawless metallic surface like a scar that refused to heal.
Even when he equipped a mech-suit, the bracelets ignored reality itself. They manifested above the armour as though they existed on an entirely different dimensional layer, refusing to be concealed, silently watching him wherever he went.
Like a parasitic curse fused into his very existence.
Then…
Without warning…
The crack along the silver bracelet ignited with a faint silver radiance as if sensing something awakening deep within him.
It flickered beneath its surface while microscopic streams of luminous energy raced through the fracture, desperately trying to suppress whatever was struggling to break free.

[Due to External Interference, Blood Thirsty Berserk skill forcibly deactivated!]
The instant the bracelet believed it had suppressed the power, the fracture bulged outward once more. Threads of energy seeped through the crack as if it had encountered an unstoppable predator.
!~Ding~!
[Skill Blood Thirsty Berserk forcibly activated!]
The bracelets tightened violently around his wrists and ankles.
rrrkk~
Metallic groans echoed only to his ears as they pressed with overwhelming force, trembling as though every fragment of their existence was resisting the awakening power inside him.
!~Ding~!
[Due to External Interference, Blood Thirsty Berserk skill forcibly deactivated!]
Yet once again, the opposing force surged back with terrifying persistence. The fracture expanded another fraction, releasing pulses of light that distorted the surrounding air as the bracelets struggled to contain what was threatening to emerge.

….
…
..
The log continued flooding with notification after notification as two pletely opposing forces collided within his body.
Yet mander 10 himself remained perfectly motionless.
His lifeless gaze never shifted away from the capsule.
Inside…
His beloved Aqualina hung unconscious.
Her wrists remained restrained by thick energy suppression cuffs, countless alloy chains binding her body in midair as though she were nothing more than a disposable experimental specimen awaiting dissection.
His void-black eyes stared blankly at the thin stream of blood slowly trickling from the wound on her leg. Each crimson droplet slid down her pale skin before falling, and with every single drop… his gaze remained locked upon it without blinking even once.
mander 6, on the other hand, assumed mander 10 had been left speechless by his achievement, a thought that inflated his ego.
“Haha… No words? Of course. After all, I’m the one who captured her, not mander 2 or mander 3, who always act like they’re above the rest of us. And now… haha… it’ll only be a matter of time before my number rises to the top.”
A smug grin spread beneath his visor before it slowly faded. He clenched his fist in disappointment.
“Honestly, we were supposed to capture both Aqualina Naiadia and Marisandra Naiadia, but for some reason Marisandra never appeared on the battlefield… so yeah, that was kind of disappointing. And we also couldn’t find that unknown woman in black clothes who fought alongside Aqualina… Hmmm… what a disappointment.”
mander 6 let out a long sigh, rubbing the forehead of his visor as though pinching the bridge of his nose beneath it. With a casual wave of his hand, the massive cylindrical capsule silently floated after him, anti-gravitational emitters humming beneath its frame.
He stepped down from the elevated platform, the polished alloy floor illuminating beneath his boots with every step, before positioning the floating capsule beside Kai, who remained imprisoned inside another towering cylindrical Encapsular.
“Hmmm… According to the President, these Encapsulars are capable of perfectly restraining the Chosen Ones, but I’m not so sure. They seem pretty fragile.”
His glowing visor shifted toward several shattered Encapsulars scattered. Some had already been destroyed before they were even transported through the spatial portal, while others had been crushed during the fierce battle itself.
“Well… whatever. He even claimed one of these could restrain the Dragon Emperor…” He chuckled, his voice carrying genuine excitement.
“Let’s see whether it can hold that monster down as well.”
Just imagining the Dragon Emperor, a creature capable of reducing entire cities to ruins with overwhelming force, made his pulse race. The thought of capturing such a calamity alive instead of killing it was enough to send excitement coursing through his veins.
“But I still don’t understand why we have to capture these individuals alive. It would’ve been far easier to just kill them… sigh… well, it’s the President’s order. Nobody can oppose him.”
His voice gradually trailed off.
A slight frown formed beneath his helmet.
mander 10, who normally would’ve thrown in some sarcastic remark or mocking ment by now…
Had remained pletely silent.
“mander 10?”
mander 6 turned around.
mander 10 was still standing exactly where he had been several minutes ago.
Motionless.
His head remained slightly lowered, his gaze fixed solely upon the woman suspended inside the Encapsular, as though nothing else in the chamber existed.
mander 6 frowned before his eyes widened in realisation.
“Oh, man… You can’t be serious. Even if she looks beautiful and sexy, she’s still an extremely dangerous woman. The President specifically warned us not to let our personal urges interfere with the mission.
If you’re that desperate, go visit that division. That’s literally why it exists, right?”
He pointed a finger toward mander 10.
“Don’t you dare do anything stupid. This isn’t just our chance. It’s our entire division’s chance to climb the ranks. The Governor will be furious if anything gets messed up.
Keep that in mind.”
With that warning, mander 6 turned and began walking back toward the portal within the elevated platform.
But just as he was about to step onto it…
!!!
A freezing chill crawled up the back of his spine.
His entire body stiffened.
It was as though every survival instinct buried within his human body screamed at him to stop moving.
mander 6 immediately looked around.
His visor rapidly scanned the chamber.
First, the Encapsulars.
Had one of the Chosen Ones escaped?
No!
Every life-sign remained exactly where it should have been.
Then…
Why did he suddenly feel such an overwhelming urge to flee?
His brows knitted together.
The only person inside this chamber who could possibly pose any danger to him was…
mander 10.
His glowing visor slowly turned toward the silent figure.
“mander 10… are you alright?”
No answer.
Only an unnatural… Bone-chilling silence.
“mander 10? Answer me!!”
Nothing.
Not even the faintest movement.
“…”
mander 6 fell silent.
He stared blankly at mander 10 while his fingers twitched beside his waist, unconsciously preparing to draw his weapon at the slightest sign of danger.
“mander 10, I order you to respond to me!”
“…”
Silence.
Absolute silence.
Now, mander 6 was certain something was wrong with mander 10.
He immediately attempted to establish a secure munication channel, just in case something else was present in the chamber… something silently watching them from the shadows.
But to his disappointment…
The transmission never connected.
“…”
His fingers slowly drifted toward the metallic sidearm holstered at his hip.
“mander 10… respond to your superior immediately!”
Still…
Nothing.
mander 6 couldn’t explain it, but the icy sensation creeping along his spine continued spreading throughout his body.
It wasn’t merely fear.
It was the instinctive feeling of one’s very existence being threatened.
“mander…”
Step!!
CCRRREEECCCKKKK!!!!
In the very next second, mander 10 vanished from where he had been standing.
mander 6’s pupils shrank in shock.
He had disappeared so pletely that it was as though he had never been standing there in the first place.
Only the violent metallic shriek echoing through the laboratory proved otherwise.
It was the scream of mander 10’s deactivated mech-suit actuators, forcibly grinding against themselves as Young Aether accelerated with impossible speed.
CRACKKK!!
A deafening sound of glass shattering exploded through the chamber.
mander 6 instinctively spun around.
His visor immediately locked onto the capsule.
His heart skipped a beat.
mander 10 was already standing there…
Holding the captured woman gently within his arms.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING, MANDER 10?!”
His voice echoed throughout the laboratory as disbelief filled his face.
The woman who should have remained imprisoned inside the cylindrical Encapsular had somehow been taken out.
Even more shocking…
mander 10 was carefully feeding her a glowing white-golden liquid, slowly pouring it between her unconscious lips.
The radiant liquid shimmered with countless microscopic particles, resembling liquid starlight as faint streams of golden energy flowed across her pale skin.
“mander 10! What are you doing?! If you refuse to answer for your actions, I’ll have no choice but to execute you for disobeying the Governor’s orders according to protocol!”
mander 6 instantly drew the particle handgun from its holster.
Crimson energy rapidly gathered around its elongated barrel as magnetic rings rotated along its frame, pressing the energy into a concentrated beam. Warning lights flashed across the weapon’s body while the muzzle glowed brighter and brighter, ready to fire at any moment.
Yet mander 10 showed no reaction.
Not even a glance.
His entire attention remained fixed upon the unconscious woman resting in his arms as he continued feeding her the mysterious liquid.
Then…
mander 6’s eyes widened.
The severed leg that had been brutally cut off moments ago…
Was regenerating before his very eyes.
Muscles.
Blood vessels.
Bones.
Nerves.
Every tissue reconstructed itself at an unbelievable speed beneath a veil of radiant white-golden light until her leg became pletely whole once again, as though it had never been injured.
mander 6 no longer hesitated.
His finger squeezed the trigger.
BAM!!
