The bald General laughed wantonly after listening to Leon's words, he placed both hands on his waist and laughed into the sky.
He turned and faced Zhu Ming after a few seconds of laughter.
"Zhu Ming, since you still need to oversee the situation of the battle here, why don't I go report this incident on your behalf? I'll return quickly with the emperor's verdict!" He stated before rising into the air.

However, just before he could vanish into the distance, Zhu Ming's voice echoed. The General stopped and looked back at her with questioning eyes.
But Zhu Ming didn't say anything to him after stopping him from leaving, she turned to Leon instead.
"I rember saying that I would look for you later, now isn't a bad ti, " Zhu Ming muttered.
Her words stunned Leon, Bai Quing, and the rest, Zhu Ming did say that she would look for Leon when they had just arrived at the Gulu plain.
The bald General was puzzled and drifted to the ground; he wanted to know what was going on and why Zhu Ming had said she would look for Leon.

Imdiately after hearing this, the bald General clicked his tongue and snickered while calling Leon a lucky bastard under his breath.
Everyone ignored him and focused on the white-armoured Zhu Ming and Leon.
"Were you aware of her identity?" Zhu Ming asked and followed it with a pause before waving her hand, indicating that Leon had forgotten her question just now. If he had known of Zhu Quiner's identity, he would definitely have recognized her.
"Many do not know this, but the Zhu family has a custom that runs from generations hundreds of years ago; it's a strong custom that everyone has to follow regardless of their opinion." Zhu Ming began to tell Leon about the custom of her family.

Her tails and fox ears stood straight like spears, and her body jolted from being stared at by the man; her beast senses were screaming danger. Fengxu gritted her teeth and still stubbornly held onto Leon's robe but she lowered her gaze.
Leon looked at her, he could feel her hand trembling on his clothes. A small smile ford on his face, he raised one of his hands and gently patted Fengxu on the head.

"It's alright, nothing is going to happen." He whispered to her before looking forward.
All eyes were now on him, they were waiting for his response to what Zhu Ming had said. Would he accept their reward for saving a genius of their family, or would he refuse and get killed instead?
'I don't even need to think too much about this, that Zhu Quiner wasn't too bad, to be honest. Although she's still a huge gap from her big sister, she'll get prettier after maturing. Entering the Zhu family might also help with my current case of killing an ally, the Zhu family would definitely not let anything happen to their in-law.'
