Silas could feel they weren't far from their destination, so he simply controlled the fierce wind to blow the sails, making the ship sail forward at maximum speed.
After half a day of full-speed sailing, a strange island appeared before them.
The island wasn't particularly large but was shrouded in thick fog.
Only the edges were visible; looking deeper, nothing could be seen.
Yet soft sounds seed to emanate from within, involuntarily making one feel peaceful and joyful, wanting to delve deeper into the fog to investigate.
"This is it."
Silas had Anderson circle the island once and found that the finger also rotated a full circle, thus confirming that the owner of the bloody finger was on this island.
However, how should he get up there?
An island that even a Sequence 4 demigod couldn't safely leave... rashly entering would definitely be an unwise choice.
Fortunately, the destination was now confird. He could take ti to study it more before making plans...
"Alright, stop here. Don't approach any closer."
He said to Anderson.
"Even if you didn't say so, I wouldn't dare go in there."
Anderson said with a smile, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly.
He could see very clearly that although the island was covered in fog, at the visible edges, what remained was extrely bizarre.
Those were the corpses of many animals, from completely rotted skeletons to freshly dead bodies, from birds to humans.
The state of those corpses was very abnormal.
They looked like their bodies had been split in half. Looking more carefully, the two halves weren't caused by external harm but rather seed like their bodies had actively split, as if the two sides had suddenly developed separate wills.
If they continued approaching, wouldn't they also be torn in half like them!
Silas didn't know Anderson's thoughts, but he also noticed the condition of those corpses and speculated there might be so peculiar influence from inside the island.
As for the specific reason, he currently didn't know.
Silas had the ship distance itself from the island, then quietly waited for nightfall.
In that Black Knight's dream, he might be able to obtain more intelligence.
While waiting, he held a ritual through Anderson and successfully traded for "Grigori's Shadow" with The Moon.
He paid 1,000 pounds for this, leaving him with 14,800 pounds in cash.
They waited for several hours when suddenly the surroundings were shrouded in darkness.
Finally here...
Silas, who had already been waiting in the bedroom, took a deep breath, turned over onto the bed, and quickly entered the dream.
After a mont of haziness, he awakened to find himself inside a great hall.
One side of the hall had an iron-barred gate, behind which was a pitch-black corridor and prison cells, not much different from the scene he'd seen before leaving.
It's that sa dream from before!
I'm still here!
Silas suppressed his inner emotions, restraining his aura to prevent being discovered by that giant Black Knight.
The latter's current location was unknown, so it was better to be cautious.
He quietly searched the hall, bypassing many miscellaneous items, looking for other passages.
However, many passages in the hall were dead ends with nothing at the far end.
He was forced to circle back.
Besides the iron bars leading to the prison, all that remained was an inconspicuous black wooden door.
Silas hesitated, then quickly approached that door, grasped the handle, and slowly pushed it open.
A few seconds later, the scene behind the door ca into view.
This looked like a storage room. On one side was a full-length mirror, the other side piled with miscellaneous items.
Behind the clutter, a figure in a linen robe was huddled.
It was precisely that figure who had jumped out earlier to attract the Black Knight's attention and saved him.
"Is that you?"
The man in the linen robe recognized Silas. "You've finally co! Did you bring others to rescue ?"
He still rembers too.
"Sorry, I haven't found more people yet."
Silas shook his head.
Taking this opportunity, he got a clear look at the other's appearance.
This was a man with a very weathered face.
The wrinkles on his forehead, around his eyes, and beside his mouth were very deep, but his hair was jet black and glossy without a single white hair.
His linen robe was plain and simple, his face full of anguish.
Most notable were his eyes. Unlike normal people, his eyes were completely black!
"No one else..."
The man said painfully, "That demon is about to find ..."
"Calm down, you'll be rescued."
Silas spoke to comfort him, trying to calm him down.
This guy was different from himself, unable to remain lucid in dreams, his words and actions almost instinctive.
Just as "Nightmares" could interrogate suspects in dreams, they wouldn't conceal their true inner thoughts either.
He planned to extract so useful intelligence from this strange man's mouth this way.
"I'm a missionary nad Alexander Gascoigne. Who are you?"
Silas first gave his false na, smoothly guiding the other.
"I... I'm Leomaster, an ascetic from a religious organization."
The man slowly cald down and answered.
"Religious organization? Doesn't sound like the Seven Gods."
Silas's heart stirred as he asked knowingly.
He had already guessed that the religious organization the other ntioned should be the Aurora Order.
But sothing wasn't quite right.
When did Aurora Order people beco so reasonable and rational?
Generally speaking, they'd start going mad within three sentences, and he didn't have that corrupted and twisted aura about him either...
Leomaster nodded:
"You're right. We worship the original Creator. He is the omniscient and omnipotent Lord, the source of all greatness..."
Even when speaking praise of the Lord, he remained rational, showing no fierce fanaticism. This strange feeling made Silas quite uncomfortable.
"Then what are you doing here?"
Silas asked instead.
"I ca on a pilgrimage. The Lord sleeps at the easternmost part of the Sonia Sea.
His sacred mountain is hidden within. I led a team here, trying to witness divine miracles and redeem myself..."
Hearing this, Silas's expression gradually beca wrong.
This guy was the team leader?
Wasn't the team leader an Aurora Order Saint?
"In this process, we suffered attacks from a terrible demon... the one you saw.
It attacked my companions, killing them one by one. Only I remain, hiding here..."
Leomaster didn't know Silas's psychological activity and recalled with a sorrowful expression.
"I see."
Silas adjusted his emotions, keeping his face calm as he continued asking, "Then do you know what that demon is called?"
"I don't know who he is... but my companions seed to know." Leomaster answered.
"Before they died, I heard them screaming in terror, calling that black knight..."
"The Black Saint."
"Boom!"
The wooden door was blasted open from outside. That towering knight, wielding a pitch-black greatsword, strode in.
