My Bad, for the late chapters
~~~
"Damn it!"
Duke Negan saw the demon on the opposite side interfere with his call for help, his expression becoming even more grim.
At this mont, the hall symbolizing Loen's supre power was hosting a bloody feast.
People who had lost their reason were slaughtering each other.
Even Duke Negan and the others who remained conscious were gradually influenced by the atmosphere, their emotions beginning to shift toward madness.
Led by the blonde secretary, the guards launched a desperate attack against the demigod opposite them, just to create an opening for the Duke to escape.
"Ahhh..."
From ti to ti, guards lost emotional control and were manipulated by the demon.
This high-pressure state caused even more people to fall into anxiety.
After just a few dozen seconds, they were defeated in droves, leaving only the blonde secretary still persisting.
"Boom! Boom!"
Blue phosphorescent fire shot toward Duke Negan. The secretary gritted his teeth and pushed forward with his left hand.
The rules before him quickly beca chaotic, and the fireballs began flying erratically.
Several even reversed direction and bombarded their own master.
However, the continuous activation of his ability seed to greatly drain the secretary's spirituality.
He appeared unsteady on his feet.
Opposite him, the well-dressed demigod demon looked quite leisurely, using Kons's face to smile at the two of them.
"Am I going to die like this?"
Despair filled Duke Negan's heart.
However, just then, he suddenly heard the sound of wind.
Rather than the sound of wind, it was more like an explosive roar from tearing through the air, as if sothing was breaking through barriers and approaching at an astonishing speed.
It was like thunderous booms occasionally erupting from within howling winds.
In an instant, that sound was right upon them, resounding thunderously above Whitehall!
"It's His Excellency the 'Spellsinger of God'!"
Duke Negan's face showed joy.
Although his call for help hadn't been transmitted in ti, for so reason, His Excellency the Archbishop "Spellsinger of God" had actually arrived just in ti!
The smile on Duke Negan's face grew more and more obvious.
The joy of seeing hope in a desperate situation overflowed in his heart, reaching its limit, then bursting open.
The burden on his heart instantly reached its peak, pumping violently, forcing surging blood into his blood vessels and rushing straight to his brain.
"Snap!"
He seed to hear the sound of sothing shattering. A warm sensation instantly covered his entire brain.
However, this feeling only lasted for an instant before his nerves were completely destroyed.
To those outside, Duke Negan's entire head suddenly split apart, as if cut open by an invisible sharp blade.
His face still wore a joyful smile, but his body had already collapsed onto Whitehall's lavishly decorated platform.
Blood gushed out, flowing across the reflective floor.
Duke Negan was completely dead.
"Damn it!"
Above Whitehall, a certain presence let out an enraged roar.
Imdiately after, a violent storm swept in, directly ripping off the roof above the hall!
The demon Noss withdrew his right fist.
He looked up at the sky that had abruptly appeared above the building and at soone standing in the sky. With an almost mocking smile, he waved at them.
Then his figure quickly vanished.
"Swish, swish, swish!"
Sharp wind blades shot forth in the next instant, but only left terrible crisscrossing scars on the floor.
The demon seed to have already escaped from there.
The injured secretary struggled to stand while supporting his arm.
He saw Duke Negan lying on the ground, completely lifeless. He also saw an angry figure in the sky above the hall.
"Whoosh..."
Fierce wind sounds surged around that figure, as if venting fury. In the next instant, that figure also quickly disappeared, vanishing without a trace.
The storm raged through.
The people in the hall who had originally lost their reason seed to have their confusion blown away by the wind.
They gradually regained consciousness and were horrified by the current situation.
"Ahhh! It hurts so much!"
"Guards! Where are the guards!"
"Help!"
They made various sounds.
The blonde secretary calmly observed all this, then silently walked to Duke Negan's corpse, as if expressing condolences.
However, when his back was turned to everyone, he slightly raised the corners of his mouth.
The blonde secretary said in a voice only he could hear clearly:
"I'm sorry, Your Grace. All of this is the choice of the era."
Jowood District.
"The wind is picking up."
Silas stood at the street corner, gazing toward the distant sky.
There, thick cloud layers were rotating at extrely high speed.
It seed that powerful, fierce winds were being generated there, surging.
That's the direction of Queens District...
Could it be that people from the Storm Church went there?
Very likely, because Duke Negan's family had always worshipped the Lord of Storms... I wonder what Sequence the person they sent is, whether they can stop the culprit or capture him...
Silas couldn't help thinking.
He hadn't agreed to [Justice]'s request to go help there, largely because he didn't know the culprit's level.
The people hired by the mastermind behind the scenes were getting stronger and stronger.
He might not be able to handle it and could even get caught up in trouble.
Since people from the three major churches had arrived on the scene, there was even less need for him to take action... Alright, alright, these matters aren't for to participate in.
I should honestly find Klein and figure out the content of that mural.
Thinking this, Silas walked toward Minsk Street.
As he reached the street corner, a couple passed by him.
"Thank goodness, the child's condition isn't too bad..."
They were talking quietly.
The wife nestled in her husband's embrace, and the husband wearing gold-rimd glasses also looked full of happiness.
Silas paid no attention to this couple's joys and sorrows. In a few quick steps, he arrived at No. 13 Minsk Street, which was Klein's doorstep.
"Hm?"
He was about to knock when he discovered the door was tightly shut.
On the ssage board beside the door were so words written: "Detective Sherlock is out and is expected to return late. Please leave a ssage if you have business."
"Klein's not ho?"
Silas shook his head.
There was no helping it.
This kind of thing was unavoidable. After all, he hadn't made arrangents in advance before coming over.
Klein certainly couldn't stay at ho all the ti. It looked like today's visit wouldn't work out. He'd co again tomorrow.
With so regret, Silas walked down the steps. Out of caution, he didn't leave a ssage.
"It would be nice if I also had a ssenger... like the kind Ms. Daly once used to send ssages."
He walked aimlessly along the street, thinking idly. "I wonder how to find a suitable ssenger..."
In the distant sky, the cloud layers had stopped rotating. The violent winds had ceased.
"They resolved the culprit that quickly?"
Silas couldn't help thinking, gaining a higher opinion of the three major churches.
However, in the next instant, an unexpected change occurred.
"Creak..."
Silas saw that in midair on Minsk Street, an invisible door was slowly opening.
If this chapter doesn't seem to match the plot, it's because I made so revisions to the second half of the previous chapter. Readers can go back and take another look.
