Silas watched the two Rose School of Thought mbers with cold eyes.

At this mont, he was wielding the "Desire Apostle's" ability, stirring up the restless thoughts in their hearts.

When he activated the ability, Silas could clearly sense the emotions of people within several dozen ters.

At this hour, most people had already gone to sleep, with only a small portion still awake.

Probably the villa's servants and guards.

Their emotions were sowhat low, seemingly discontented about having to continue working late into the night.

If Silas wanted, he could easily manipulate these people's emotions, drag down their mood, make them even more dejected and depressed, even to the point of world-weariness, despair, and suicide.

Besides that, in a more distant room, there was a couple enjoying each other's bodies.

Silas could add fuel to the fire of their passion, making their bodies bear extre loads from excessive pleasure until their hearts burst...

Manipulating desire was this terrifying, but the prerequisite was that the target must have emotional fluctuations.

The two people before him happened to be excellent practice tools.

They were practically the embodint of desire, with absolutely no intention of hiding or controlling their impulses.

One had an intense craving for fresh flesh and blood, the other lusted after the souls of the living.

Silas grasped their turbulent desires and pushed them toward the edge of extres!

"Aaahh!"

The "Zombie" Jason couldn't bear it.

The intense craving for flesh and blood made him lose his reason.

He clenched his teeth, the corpse spots on his face swelling translucently, as if rotten fluid would burst through his skin at any mont.

At his feet, flowing blood was rapidly freezing into crimson ice.

"Thud!"

Jason stomped hard on the ground.

The trendous force shattered the floor with the sound of steel colliding, and he himself used the recoil to lunge toward Silas.

Eat him!

Eat him!

His spirituality burning excessively, Jason beca frenzied and thoughtless, unable to think of anything, only following instinct to satisfy his desires!

Wind howled.

The guy across from him seed completely unprepared, standing there dumbly, letting himself be grabbed...

"Boom!"

Crimson flas exploded before him. Jason broke through the flas to find no one ahead.

"Bang!"

His body was like a high-speed steam train, crashing uncontrollably into the wall on the other side of the corridor.

With a trendous crash, the entire wall was destroyed!

"Huff, huff..."

Dust flew everywhere.

The pain from the impact let Jason regain so lucidity.

He was shocked to discover that due to his excessive frenzy just now, he'd pointlessly consud a large amount of spirituality.

"Crack!"

Unfortunately, before Jason could feel confused about his behavior, his eyes suddenly went rigid.

Then he raised both hands and placed them around his own throat.

Both his eyes simultaneously reflected a figure: black court dress, pale gold hair, a delicate face devoid of color.

Sharron had already possessed him!

"Cough, cough!"

Jason's tongue and eyes protruded simultaneously.

His neck was creaking, the result of his own strength struggling against the hard outer skin of his neck.

Though he held out briefly, despair couldn't help but well up in his heart. He'd already consud much of his spirituality.

The "Zombie's" defensive state couldn't last much longer.

At this mont, he was simply waiting for death!

anwhile, in the clearing outside the villa.

Steve, transford back into a Wraith, was flying rapidly.

Jason's rampage had created chaos, allowing him to seize the opportunity to escape.

"Damn Sharron! To find such a terrifying ally..."

He carried that Beyonder item in his chest, but he'd had absolutely no chance to use it.

The Beyonder who appeared alongside Sharron was truly frightening.

He mastered more than one ability, and so of them could even harm spirit bodies like Wraiths.

"I must imdiately contact Lord Zatwen..."

Zatwen was the demigod leading the pursuit of the "Temperance Faction," currently deceived by Sharron into going elsewhere.

"Boom!"

Just as Steve was thinking about what to do once he was safe, crimson firelight suddenly flared before his eyes.

Imdiately after, that terrifying figure appeared in the aftermath of the flas.

Steve was currently in the Wraith's "concealnt" state.

Ordinary Beyonders would find it difficult to detect him even with spirit vision.

But to this person, his soul was very conspicuous, and his intense emotions were easily perceived.

"Lashing."

Silas quickly locked onto Steve's position, driving the soul of the "Interrogator" Katie to activate her ability.

"Snap!"

An invisible whip swung down swiftly, striking at air that seed to contain nothing.

Accompanied by the sound of hitting sothing, ripples spread, and Steve's phantom figure appeared.

The "Interrogator's" ability targeted souls precisely!

However, being only a Sequence 7 ability, the effect wasn't very pronounced. Steve's spirit body only had a few minor wounds.

"Must you stop ?"

He glared at Silas through gritted teeth, demanding an answer.

"Go die."

Silas had no intention of communicating with him. He spoke directly, uttering a profane curse in ancient Hers.

"Ahhh!"

Steve couldn't help but clutch his head, letting out a piercing scream. His spirit body flickered incessantly.

This was already the second ti he'd heard the Profane Words. His spirit had beco extrely fragile under successive impacts.

He couldn't even maintain his spirit body state, reverting to a living body!

"Boom!"

Silas drew the Lava Sword and strode before him, swinging the blade down.

However, the blazing greatsword cleaved through empty air. Steve had already vanished without a trace.

No, his figure appeared in Silas's eyes!

Silas's body stood still.

In his eyes was reflected the image of a middle-aged man in a tailcoat. Naturally, that was the "Wraith" Steve.

Like Sharron, he had also used the Wraith's possession ability.

"Fool, to make suffer so much..."

Inside Silas's body, Steve thought with malice. "I'll make you kill yourself with your own hands."

However, he quickly noticed sothing strange. He seed unable to control the other party's body very well.

This body seed sowhat crowded.

First, Steve heard sounds.

The desperate cries of countless dead. Their corpses had transford into a river of blood, surging and roaring.

Those residual soul fragnts filled this body, and upon sensing an unwelco intruder, they surged forward with intense hostility.

Hallucinations seed to appear before his eyes.

He saw a monstrous river of blood. Standing atop the waters was a red-haired, golden-eyed woman, smiling at him...

The river waters instantly engulfed him.

"Ahhhhh!"

Silas felt himself briefly lose focus for an instant.

When he regained clarity, Steve had already been squeezed out of his body.

No longer in spirit form, he rolled on the ground wailing, in extre agony.
