Early Sunday morning, No. 2 Daffodil Street.

"Well then, I'm off to work."

Swallowing the last bite of bread, Klein tilted his head back and drained the coffee from his cup, then hurriedly stood up.

"lissa, I'm leaving the ticket-buying task to you. Rember, just buy three tickets."

"I understand."

lissa agreed, her expression slightly regretful. "What a sha we can't go to the theater with Cecilia and them."

"...Can't be helped. Who knew their relative would suddenly fall ill?"

The Clown's ability allowed Klein to control his facial expression well.

He spoke in a casual, relaxed manner.

In reality, he let out a long sigh in his heart.

Obviously, the Londor siblings could no longer keep the appointnt.

He could only lie to lissa, saying that one of Silas's uncles was critically ill and needed to take Cecilia to see the old man one last ti.

As for how to cover up the lie afterward, he hadn't figured it out yet.

His brother Benson, sitting at the sa dining table, looked deeply at Klein, as if sensing sothing, but didn't speak up.

While speaking, Klein had already walked to the foyer, put on his coat, and donned his half-high silk top hat.

"Have a good day, Mr. Klein!"

The little maid Bella, who was clearing the dining table nearby, quickly bowed in farewell.

Klein walked out the front door and glanced at No. 6 next door.

That house was now completely empty.

He walked to the corner of the street, got on a carriage, and rode all the way to Zotland Street before getting off and walking to the company on foot.

As soon as he entered the Blackthorn Security Company, Klein sensed the slightly oppressive atmosphere inside.

No one was chatting, no one was smiling. Everyone just sat around the sofa in silence, occasionally exchanging complicated glances.

They seed to be waiting for sothing.

Right, it's today.

Klein thought.

"Klein."

He heard soone quietly calling him from the side.

Looking toward the voice, Rozanne was leaning over from the reception desk, beckoning him over.

"What's the matter?"

"I heard Silas and them are leaving today?"

"That's right."

Klein nodded.

This was also why all mbers of the Nighthawks squad were waiting in the hall.

Dunn had reported all of Silas's circumstances to the Holy Cathedral, and last night, the Holy Cathedral had finally given their response: the Londor siblings would be taken to Backlund to receive relevant arrangents.

"Relevant arrangents? What specifically does that an?"

Rozanne was a bit puzzled.

"I don't know either."

Klein shook his head.

The Holy Cathedral's reply was ambiguous but not severe in tone. Presumably, Silas's life was certainly saved.

He would just be taken to Backlund. At worst, it would be an outco similar to Old Neil's.

Speaking of which, Old Neil went to Backlund also because of him... It's like so kind of peculiar cycle.

"May the Goddess bless the siblings."

Rozanne drew the crimson moon on her chest, sincerely praying for them.

"Goddess bless."

Klein followed suit with the gesture.

After chatting with Rozanne for a few more monts, Klein also walked away.

In a little while, people from the Backlund diocese would arrive at the Blackthorn Security Company to take Silas away.

Before that, he had to complete the relevant handover work.

To be honest, his heart felt sowhat heavy.

Although Silas's arrest was mainly due to his own reasons, the person who discovered his problem was, after all, Klein.

This gave Klein a subtle sense of guilt, as if he'd pushed a teammate into a whirlpool.

"The house? Just keep renting it for now."

Underground in the company, in front of the Chanis Gate, inside the cage, Silas said unconcernedly. "It depends on what happens to after I get to Backlund.

If I'm like Old Neil and have my freedom restricted, then transfer the property rights to Cecilia's na."

"I don't want it."

Outside the cage, Cecilia said.

"Be good."

Silas tried to comfort his sister.

The Holy Cathedral had granted Silas's request and dealt leniently with Cecilia.

She would hardly be punished at all. Her future life would just be monitored, or rather, protected. At most, it would be sowhat inconvenient.

Cecilia was very dissatisfied because Silas might not be able to live with her anymore.

"Okay, okay, I've written it all down."

Leonard wrote everything he said on paper. As a courtesy to their colleague, the Nighthawks would help him handle the property left in Tingen, just like they did for Old Neil that ti.

"And these things, you should confirm them too. The people coming from Backlund will take everything.

After checking that they're harmless, they might return them to you."

He showed Silas another box.

Inside the box were mysticism-related items searched from Silas's person and from his ho.

This included three Beyonder items: Azik's white bone whistle, the Servant's Bell, and the dagger generated by fusing Demoness characteristics.

As for the Clockwork Clown, it originally belonged to the Church's sealed artifacts and had naturally been reclaid.

Besides these, the box also contained various materials he'd accumulated, herbs, essential oils, candles, and such, as well as so of the Witch's internal organs.

"They're all there, nothing missing."

Silas only glanced briefly before saying so.

Although nominally they would be returned to him, Silas suspected that after the Church people examined them, he wondered how much would be left.

The materials didn't matter much. It was just a sha about the three Beyonder items.

At this mont, he noticed another box beside the main one.

"What's in there?"

"You an this? This contains Ma'am M's things."

Leonard removed the spiritual wall on the box and opened it.

Inside was that red rose ring, along with Ma'am M's extracted Beyonder characteristic, a golden, vertically pupilled eyeball covered in scales.

Similar to Hood Eugen's Beyonder characteristic. Sure enough, they're from the sa sequence.

Silas thought to himself.

Just then, footsteps ca from outside the underground passage.

Dunn quickly walked in. His coat was sowhat wrinkled, and stubble sprouting from his chin. Because of Silas's matter, he hadn't been ho recently.

"Captain, what's the matter?"

Leonard asked.

"The people from the Backlund diocese are here to pick up Silas. The one leading them is the acquaintance who ca last ti."

Dunn said, his profound gaze sweeping over the Londor siblings.

They're already here?

Hearing this news, Silas felt a sense of surprise at how quickly it ca, but at the sa ti, also a sense of relief, like the other shoe finally dropping.

Without looking in a mirror, he could guess his facial expression must be quite sothing.

"Right now, the Nighthawks from Backlund are resting in the hall.

Because of different security clearances, you two will be escorted separately and arranged on two different trains to reach Backlund."

After Dunn explained the escort plan, he looked at the two siblings. His usually steady face showed a trace of fatigue.

"I'm giving you siblings a few minutes alone. Have a good talk."

With that, he left the area with Leonard.

"Brother, let's escape."

As soon as Dunn left, Cecilia suggested without hesitation.
