Chapter 41: The Council’s Demise.

Reven muttered as he stabilized his breathing.
His wounds were also healing rapidly as his [Regeneration] innate ability kicked in.
Aie and Aarav also arrived near him. Looking at his pathetic state Aie asked with concern "Are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah I am… WATCH OUT!!!"
Reven suddenly pushed Aie with full force as a [Blitz Bolt] landed straight at him.
It was Tyler, he was sohow still alive even after getting a wound which severed his body half.
As soon as Aarav saw this he summoned Ardor and ford a sword with it then he swiftly reached in front of Tyler and killed him thoroughly.

Tyler's attack ended up severely hitting Reven's Heart region and injured him.
"S-SHIT!!!"
Reven lost his consciousness.
Truthfully speaking if Reven was ready for the attack then his cells would already have ford a natural barrier to protect his internal body.
But at this mont he was completely taken off-guard. Plus, he panicked as the attack was directed at Aie so his cells and nerves beca highly tense and his [Seamless Intuition] failed.
"Reven NOOO!!!"
Aie ran towards him and hugged him tight saving him from falling to the ground. Tears ca out of her eyes.
"We need to treat him ASAP."
Aarav said. As he called the ergency doctors in the Parliant.

Reven snapped open his eyes only to see the ceiling of the room he was in. He then tried to look at his right side to Aie sleeping with her head rested on the bed he was in.
He realised that he was in the hospital and was here because of the injury he got in the battle.

By this ti Aie also woke up and looked at Reven with absent mind.
"Hey there. Though it was who was injured but you look even more pathetic than you know that." Reven said sarcastically.
Though Aie really looked even worse than Reven right now.
How could she not be? She spent the entire duration when Reven was unconsciousness tensed and only dozed off about an hour ago.
Aie kept staring at Reven blankly as tears started to run down her cheeks again.

Reven continued as he moved his hands to rub her cheeks to remove her tears.
"Besides I am fine and with Ardor I will be back to full health in less than a week. So stop crying."
Aie nodded fiercely but tears still continued to pour down of her eyes. If anyone saw the famous 'Mist Empress' right now they would end up having a heart attack.
Aie then gave him a light hug. And said "Next ti do not pull that type of stunts."
"Nope. You were at danger there and it was because of my negligence. Plus, even if it was not because of my negligence I would have still done it.
You are my family after all. And even if there is a next ti I will still do it." Reven said with a dead serious face.
"Besides that, do I sound cliché right now? Because I feel I kinda do." He continued.
"Dummy." Aie continued to embrace Reven.
Like that this conversation ended. Reven's days in the hospital also passed and soon about 6 days went by. Though he didn't need to stay here for 6 days he still did that because he wanted to give his body and mind so rest.
Today was the day Reven going to get his discharge.
He got his discharge as he and Aie arrived back to their house. After relaxing for a few hours in the house and having so food made by Aie they both left for the President's building.
A lot had happened in the past week, beginning with the total demise of the council.
The people also got to know that the decision makers in the council were the traitors. In fact, the other countries also ca to know about this issue and frantically checked their own mbers too.
Next people were cald down after the President himself appeared in front of the public saying that Aarav 'The War Hero' and Aie 'The Mist Empress' ended up saving him from the council.
This made Aarav's already high popularity increase even more at the sa ti made Aie an inspiration of many.
Aarav also announced his retirent from the army too saying that now he totally wants to focus in his cultivation.
Next thing was that the Guild Elections were cancelled for now since the President himself arrived.
All in all, the chaos calm down throughout the nation.
Of course the big part of it goes to Reven's planning beforehand which saved ISC many CPs because not much property was destroyed.
"Mr. President it's finally ti to give you your rightful authority back." Reven said as he looked at the President.

"That's good." Reven said and left the office.
Then he and Aie went to et the MHS and so of their friends for a celebration party.
"Hey everyone!"
"Oh… Reven and Aie too. You both arrived." It was Vera who greeted as she saw them.
"Yup."
"Co have so drinks, these drinks are prepared with technology and can even make us drunk."
"Really! Lem try." Reven said as he tried the new drinks.
Soon everyone started to relax themselves and enjoyed the party. All of them were lightly drunk too.
"Hey… Hey guys! Let's play truth and dare shall we." It was Ronny who spoke.
"Yeah let's play." Everyone complied.
With that they sat in a circle with a champagne bottle in the middle.
"There it goes." Ronny spun the bottle.
Soosh… soosh… soosh… soosh…
The bottle rotated and finally pointed at Geena with the opposite side being pointed at Emma.
"Truth or Dare Geena." Emma asked with a smile.
"Dare of course!"
"Hoh… So you dare is… to kiss Talos on his lips." Emma said cunningly.
Geena slightly blushed as she already had a crush in him but she steeled her heart and moved her face towards Talos who was just as flushed and then…
Started kissing of course.
They both lost themselves in the kiss and continued to exchange their juices for more than a minute. The faces of others also heat up as they watched them.
Unable to bear them the group finally spoke "Hey. If you two want to continue then go to a room already. Do not spoil the ga."
With that Geena and Talos left for ho to take their frustrations out.
"Well… Let's continue the ga." Reven said awkwardly as he looked at the others.
The ga continued for few more rounds and everybody mostly chose Truth.
Finally, this ti the bottle pointed at Reven and the other side at Vera.
"Truth." Reven spoke without waiting.
"Tell then what's the part of a woman you like the most." Vera asked with a sly smile.
Reven flushed red as he heard the question.
He knew why Vera asked this question. During the ti when he used to stay with Aie, he would always look at Aie breasts and Vera's butt. It was to the point even Vera started to call him pervert.
What could he do?
At that ti Aie gave the 'Playboy' magazines. And he was a curious boy. The only thing which saved him was that he wasn't an adolescent so he didn't have a boner down there.
But after Vera called him pervert he swore he would never look at woman like that again and improve himself.
Which of course he did.
But now…
These types of questions were really embarrassing to him.
"Now… Now Vera. Let him off this ti." Aie interfered saving Reven.
"No Aie. We also want to know our Reven's thoughts." Said Emma with a cunning light in her eyes. "Don't you also want to know Dave." She asked Dave too.
"Y-Yes… Yes indeed." Dave replied with a cold sweat on his back as he thought 'Sorry mate.' With a crying face in his mind.
The others also started to look at Reven.
