A Few Monts Ago.
Elias did not believe in the concept of evil or that there were forces whose entire existence could be painted in only the shade of black. It was the reason he did not necessarily believe in Daemons, the fad enemies of the gods, because he was sure that there could not be creatures who knew nothing but to crave pain, despair, and every negative emotion and energy in Existence.
He believed in choices and knew that whether it was n or gods, they were given the free will to beco anything they wanted, and the hands of a man could be stained with the blood of a thousand n from the battlefield, and he did not take any survivors, but he had never hard a single fly outside the battlefield... life was gray, and no one had any right to impose their moral superiority on another being.
Elias began to greatly question his understanding of life in the brief monts he had encountered that child who allowed him to leave the Fragnt alive. Perhaps it was due to his special physique and mindset, but Elias had always been able to sense the mindset of certain people, and he was observant enough that over ti, he could quickly figure out soone’s character, and this child was nothing but bad news.
He had only glimpsed the boy for a mont, but Elias’s skin was crawling, and when the child spoke, there was no confusion in his yellow eyes; it was clear and filled with purpose, and seeing a glimpse of that purpose almost made Elias want to puke.
Its form, that of a child, seed to be deliberate, as if it mocked the concept of innocence, and if there was anything considered sacred or good, it wanted to destroy it.
As much as Elias’s skin crawled, so also did his hate. Everything inside of him wanted to exterminate even the idea of this child from Existence, and he knew that this would not be the last ti that he t this creature.
His body vanished from the Fragnt, and he saw himself in a white void that was slowly shrinking, but he was not concerned because ahead of him was the spinning portal that had taken him into this Fragnt, and it seed clear that to exit this space, he had to simply walk through the portal.
Settling his breathing, Elias observed the rate at which the white void was shrinking, and he felt he had three minutes at most before it vanished, and he did not want to be stranded in the void, not knowing what horrible fate awaited him if that happened.
He was willing to take this risk because he needed to be properly ready for anything he might face when he exited this place. Obviously, what happened inside the Fragnt was not normal, and the fact that he survived it at all was even more abnormal.
Case in point was his rapid healing. Every mont he spent before he left was not just topping up his vitality and erasing all the grievous injury he had suffered; his Stamina was also returning. He did not know what sort of reception he would have when he returned; he trusted the Order, but they were keeping secrets from him, and if he deed it necessary that he must run or fight, then he needed to be in his top shape.
Elias already suspected that the Order knew of his regenerative abilities, although why they had never sought to explain it to him was because it was unknown if he would survive the Fragnt, and now that he had, all of that was going to change.
Walking as close to the portal as possible so he could rapidly leave at the last minute, Elias closed his eyes, and his consciousness shifted to the Ageless Echo, and he was inside his Lumina Space, and for a long mont, he was stunned at what he was witnessing.
The first thing to draw his attention was his hundred Oceans of Lumina, or what was above it. Floating like purple gold stars were one hundred and sixty Miracle/Condemnation orbs!
"What the..."
Elias, in all his wildest dreams, could not believe that he could gain so many points for his upgrade. Was it possible that he could elevate his power much more easily than he thought, or was that monster that he killed special?
The Allure of so many orbs was alarming, but Elias’s willpower was not the sa as it was when he was a mortal, and he was able to drag his eyes away from them, even when they were calling out to him. It helped that the other changes he was sensing were even more abnormal, and so they could draw away his attention.
When he was killing the mutated babies, he saw sothing that resembled them glowing like it was made of light and fla being drawn into his body, and he saw that this had not been a trick of the light or his mind playing tricks on him.
Sitting cross-legged in front of one of his Ocean of Lumina was the gigantic figure of a woman in a golden palace outfit. Her eyes were closed, and she had a lovely smile on her face as if she was in a beautiful dream. Her body was not the mutated horror filled with hundreds of breasts that seed about to burst, but a normal, feminine figure that could be glimpsed despite her large robes. Her size, that were more than twenty feet tall, seed natural, and there was an air of peace and serenity that Elias felt when he looked at her.
Surrounding her were hundreds of beautiful children, each of them was in a palace robe, with their legs also crossed, they were bald, and their eyes were also closed.
The Ageless Echo drifted closer to them, and Elias could hear quiet chanting that he could not really tell the words they were speaking, no matter how hard he listened.
He did not know why they were here, but he knew it was related to his Ascendant Swarm in combination with his unique traits, titles, and physique. The truth was at the tip of his tongue, but knowing he could not spend much ti figuring out how he had elevated so rapidly, or why his Oceans of Lumina was still empty, he turned to the final thing drawing his attention above.
Previously, the massive moon above that represented his Elder Talent was quiet, with cracks running through it that revealed a faint red glow, as if the moon was caging a volcano inside of it.
Now, this moon was rumbling, and the faint red light inside the cracks was glowing brighter, and Elias could sense that this represented all the benefits he had gained from that grueling battle. He knew that the mont he allowed it, all of the changes would co rushing into his body, and he would rise again in power. What sort of ridiculous talent was this?
Elias was also aware that this was his Eldest Talent working at its lowest form, where the only thing he was acquiring was Attributes. What sort of changes would he see if his Esoteric Talent were stronger?
