Elias did not see a Status Screen, even though he knew he was reading the words from it.

What he saw was an endless void filled with stars, and his Status Screen was the entirety of the void. It was as if it needed all of the heavens to write these words.

Lumina Vein Scripture: Scripture of the Hollow Monarch

(First Scroll – Containnt)

Grade: Forbidden Scripture.

Origin: Corpse of Zorath Nullborn, the Void Calamity.

Core Concept: Embrace contradiction. Hold infinity inside finitude. Contain the uncontainable.

Every word was nothing, yet it contained everything. Elias felt that he should not be able to understand these words, and yet his body seed to accept them, as if a forgotten part of him had been found.

His infinite Lumina Pools, his ability to level up despite all reasons pointing against such a thing from happening... everything borrowed the concept of this Lumina Scripture.

Whether it was design or by coincidence, the mysteries that he had been seeking were before his eyes, and Elias’s heart went cold, and he turned towards Commander as he released the scroll.

Everything that was happening to him up to this point ca from her, including all the mysteries of his past, and it was about ti he knew the truth.

Elias felt anger, but he swallowed it. There was a ti and place to be annoyed at not being given the rightful dues, but it was not in this place, and not now. Anger would never give him answers, only patience and wisdom. He could also not fully determine if the Commander truly knew everything that was going on inside of him, and speaking out of turn would reveal information that should be kept hidden.

She was staring at Elias’s hand, and then she smiled as she whispered. "So, you could access the scroll, and it recognizes you. Stone Monkey would be displeased. For more than twenty thousand years, he has been trying to obtain the power of the Lumina Scripture. The madman even shattered his foundation and returned to a mortal, but he failed."

Seeing the look of questions in his eyes, "Disciple, I had expected a bit of anger on your end, because I have not told you the full reason why you beca an Angel, your past, and the situation you find yourself in, but I ask you to trust in the next coming monts, there shall be a long ti in the future for you to know the truth about your past." She paused for a mont, "Are we still in alignnt? I would not force my will on your path if that is not what you truly desire."

Elias exhaled a breath he was unaware that he had been holding, "Master, I have given my word. As long as you don’t lead astray, I shall follow you to the end."

Commander Yseult cocked her head to the side, "What if everything I do is walk a crooked path? Would you still follow , Elias?"

Elias was silent for a while, and he bowed his head. A few seconds later, he raised his head, "Would I gain power and freedom if I follow this path?"

The commander tapped a perfect finger on her lips as though in thought, then she replied, "In the beginning, no, you shall endure suffering and madness beyond what mortal flesh and immortal ones can bear, but if you persist, then at the end, you shall have your freedom, and the power to decide what that freedom would look like."

Elias galmced at the altar, "This Scripture..."

"Is related to the void," the Commander whispered, "A trait that you also share, since you are both a child of Miracle and Condemnation. It is said that the first of the divinities ca from the stars before they found this world. Perhaps this is a lie; I cannot say. Even with my powers, there are many things I do not know. Still, this scripture, does it suit you?"

Elias’s eyes widened in surprise, "You do not know?"

The Commander looked at him, and she seed to have realized sothing, and then she burst into laughter,

"Ah, I can see how you can think that I am aware of all your secrets and have orchestrated the entire path of your life, although there is truth in what you say, it is not the entirety of it. I have paved the road, true, but you are the one walking upon it. If I could know all the secrets of the past and of this world, I would be a god and not an Angel."

She pointed towards the scroll, "I know that this scroll is a Lumina Scripture, but I don’t even know its na and little of its Origin, but what I do know is that it is broken; this is just one of its fragnts, and yet, it should be enough to take you to quite a high stage. Your void nature was the reason I took you from the Angel who knew you as an infant. I saw promise in you, even after you were deed a failure, and your only use is to beco a vessel for the Void Incursion that would be descending three hours from now."

With everything that had been happening, Elias had not forgotten the Void Incursion and what it represented. After he heard the Commander repeat its importance, how could he place such things away from his thoughts?

Elias crossed his hands over his chest, suddenly feeling small, "What is this Void Incursion, Commander? If I am to trust you as my master, then so truths need to be spoken."

The Commander sighed, "We do not have much ti, and selecting the Lumina Art of your choice takes precedence. After we are done, you shall know the final part of your Ascension, and what it entails for you and . We do not have much ti in this space. I do, but your brain would boil inside your skull if you continue being inside here for more than a few more minutes. I did not stop ti; I do not have that sort of power. I just extended the way your mind views it, bringing it nearly equal to my own. The mind of a Wisp was never ant to bear such a strain."

Elias wanted to speak, but he held back. Ti was passing by, and although he knew he was more durable than anyone would think, there was no need to tempt fate more than he had already done.

He had not forgotten the thrills and the desire to claim the core of the Art before him. Elias had already made a choice; he would be picking the Lumina Scripture of the Hollow Monarch, but it should not stop him from checking out this last option, even though he was very much interested in its Origin.

Elias reached forward and touched the last stone. A look of shock passed through his eyes, and he turned to the Commander, who was also looking at him in surprise.

"So, this also reacted to you. That ans having the Void Trait ans you can use all art, be they Infernal or Celestial in Origin. How interesting. I am sure you must be thrilled with the final selection. This Heaven Grade Art was acquired with great pains."

Elias blinked, "Is there a mistake sowhere, Commander? This Art is at the Common Grade."
