Ji Zhangzhuo and Tantai Yi went out, and Duan Xiayou stayed ho. But it was scorching hot, and he was too lazy to move, so he stayed in his room.

Tuanzi didn’t need her brothers’ help, and happily ran back and forth, entertaining a few cousins and even shared the cartoons she recently watched with them.

Three grown n watching cartoons with a child—what a beautiful scene.

Soon, Gu Li received a phone call and got up to go to the garden.

Tuanzi imdiately put down the remote, sneakily following, making no sound at all, and the phone call engaged Gu Li was completely unaware.

Gu Zhuo turned back for a look, almost burst out laughing at his cousin’s sneaky actions.

"Why are you sneaking around... cough, cough, like a little cat? Planning to play hide and seek with Little Li?"

Wen Li glanced over, saying aningfully, "Maybe she finally discovered the truth."

"The truth?"

Gu Zhuo wasn’t good at interacting with enigmatic people and really wanted to muster up the courage to yell ’speak plainly’, but when he t those smiling eyes, he got nervous, speaking very gently, "What truth?"

Wen Li countered, "All this ti, you didn’t notice anything? If you’re any slower, I’d start doubting your IQ."

Gu Zhuo: "?"

In the garden.

Tuanzi was hiding behind a bench, sneakily peeking.

Out of respect for her cousin’s privacy, she even covered her ears not to eavesdrop.

Ten minutes later, Gu Li ended his call.

He glanced at his phone screen and sighed.

Just then, a loud voice ca from behind.

"Mijiu!"

"Huh?"

Gu Li instinctively responded, then looked back in confusion, coming face-to-face with a ’I see through everything’ chubby face.

"!!!"

"Hehe, finally Miaomiao found the truth."

Tuanzi strutted forward on her little legs, trying to exude an imposing aura.

She circled the sowhat flustered Gu Li with her hands behind her back.

"Mijiu?" she teased playfully.

"Mijiu." she intoned in a mock serious voice.

"Mijiu!" she chirped cheerfully.

The agitated young man went from a little panicked to very panicked.

The more panicked he got, the fiercer his expression beca; if soone unknowing were here, they might suspect he was about to bully a child.

"I, um, you..."

Tuanzi reached out a pudgy hand to stop him from speaking further. She raised her chin with pride, "You have the right to remain silent, but anything you say will be used as evidence in court."

It was obvious she was mimicking lines from so TV show. Paired with that adorable face, it wasn’t all that intimidating.

But Gu Li was genuinely spooked.

"I can explain!" he raised his hand in panic.

Tuanzi, like a little adult, nodded gracefully, "Explain, I’m listening."

Despite being just a Little Douding, having to tilt her head upwards to see people, her figure seed to swell up to two ters eight.

And the one-ter-eight agitated young man lowered his head, seemingly shrinking to just one ter.

"It’s really just a coincidence."

His voice turned very soft, "When I was young, I liked to write a few articles, but so teachers criticized them as too naive."

He liked to use plants and animals as taphors for people and even wrote essays to participate in competitions. But before he could join any contest, he had to pass the horoom teacher’s approval. The horoom teacher thought his writing was too naive and rejected his submission.

After that, he stopped participating in contests and only wrote secretly.

Perhaps it was inherent defiance or simply not willing to give up, the less he was acknowledged, the more he wanted to write, eventually accumulating many stories at ho. After the college entrance exam, he disregarded his parents’ objections and applied for the Chinese departnt.

After entering the Chinese departnt, he finally received words of approval.

Several course instructors admired his writing style, believing he could submit work to children’s magazines. While he was still hesitating, a teacher with connections directly submitted for him to a known magazine.

Thus, the na Mijiu appeared in front of people for the first ti.

Later, he beca a regular author for that magazine and even published children’s books.

Even though the na ’Mijiu’ has so reputation now in the children’s book sphere, the experiences from his childhood left Gu Li too shy to tell his close ones.

"My brother doesn’t even know."

Gu Li sneaked a glance at the stern-faced Tuanzi, "Please don’t tell him."

"Hmm," Tuanzi thought for a mont, covering her mouth, "But why do I feel like your brother is about to find out?"

"!"

Just as the words finished, footsteps ca from not far away.

One looked forward, one looked back, and saw Gu Zhuo, slightly flushed, looking excited, "Little Li, you’re really Mijiu?"

Being addressed as ’teacher’ by his elder brother felt utterly embarrassing.

Gu Li hurriedly said, "Don’t call teacher!"

A playful ’Mijiu’ imdiately ca from below.

Facing his cousin’s mischievous little face, Gu Li couldn’t really get angry.

Gu Zhuo was still excited, "Little Li, your talent is amazing!"

Tuanzi eagerly nodded, "Yeah, yeah! Such good writing!"

Being praised in person by his brother and sister, it was just... "Ah!"

Gu Li stomped his foot in agitation and dashed inside the house, seeing Wen Li smiling and changing channels. He angrily said, "You said you wouldn’t ntion it, you liar!"

The young writer looked innocent, "I didn’t tell them, they figured it out themselves."

After a pause, he only winked with his left eye.

"Maybe because everyone sees you have a child-like heart, seeming irritable but actually gentle, so..."

"Ah!" Gu Li mimicked a groundhog’s scream, turned and ran outside again, only to be blocked by his brother and cousin.

"No running away!"

Tuanzi spread her arms to block him, grinning, "Mijiu, since Miaomiao caught you, you’re going to be locked away to write stories every day!"

She urged, "Gu Zhuo, go open the study door!"

Gu Zhuo actually went and opened the door.

"Little Li," he said sheepishly, "I really like your stories too. If you can write more, one story a day, that’d be great."

"No no no, ten stories a day!" Tuanzi brazenly demanded.

Gu Li, no longer embarrassed, retorted angrily, "I’m not an AI, how can I write ten stories a day?"

"Then, then five stories will do," Tuanzi took a step back, looking at him expectantly, hoping he’d compromise a bit too.

Wen Li chid in, "I dream of Miaomiao locking up to write stories, but sadly she doesn’t like my stories. Little Li, you should feel honored, hurry and go start writing on your computer.

In that mont, many swears collected at the tip of Gu Li’s tongue, which he swallowed back.

By evening, the three cousins had left.

Coincidentally, Ji Zhangzhuo and Tantai Yi returned, bringing along a stranger.

Seeing Gu Li’s reddened face, Ji Zhangzhuo looked extrely surprised, "Are you blushing? You can blush? How do you get you to blush?"

Gu Li: "..." He swore he won’t co back to this neighborhood for the next month... or at least a week! He has his pride too!
