Si Huai nodded at Gu Cheng who walked over and then looked down at his cousin.

After a period of negotiation, Si Huai was transferred to Jiang City as deputy team leader. Without surprise, when the team leader retires, he’ll be promoted.

They held different opinions regarding styles.
Gu Cheng was eyeing a set of minimalist style furniture, "It matches the decor of their house."
"But this one’s cuter!"
Tuanzi pointed to a set of furniture that almost matched a children’s room.
The young director was silent.
A few seconds later, he sincerely asked, "Imagine how cousin looks lying on this bed."
Tuanzi looked up and thought about it.
A scrawny yet muscular cousin lying expressionlessly on a sky-blue little bed, like a fierce tiger with a pink flower on its head.
"Hmm, that’s so cute!"
Tuanzi covered her face and twisted her body excitedly.
Gu Cheng: "..."
At this mont, a passerby outside the furniture store exclaid in horror, "Where’s my phone, I just had it in my coat pocket!"
Tuanzi swiftly turned her head, her bright eyes scanning the young woman checking her pockets. Then she quickly shifted her gaze to observe the crowd nearby, soon locking onto a suspect.

She ’zood’ over to a man wearing a baseball cap and a short down jacket, grabbed his wrist, and pulled his hand outward.
The man’s hand was holding a phone with a cartoon case.
The cute phone case seed totally out of place with the man’s intimidating deanor.
The man froze, looked down, and saw Tuanzi pursing her lips and glaring at him.
"Thief, give the phone back to her!"
"What are you talking about?"
The man nervously tried to withdraw his hand... but couldn’t.
He tried again.
Still couldn’t withdraw it.
"If you struggle again, I won’t be polite."
Tuanzi squeezed hard, making the man feel as if his wrist was about to fracture.
"Ow, it hurts!"
At this point, the young woman also ca over, saw her phone in the man’s hand, imdiately snatched it back, and slapped him with her other hand.
"Slap!"
A handprint appeared on the man’s face.

There was no room left for Tuanzi to intervene; when the man tried to flee, the young woman fiercely wrapped her arms around him.
Moreover, the young woman shouted loudly, quickly attracting the attention of passersby, and eventually even security guards ca along. Everyone worked together to restrain the man until the police arrived and took him away.
To express gratitude, the young woman bought Tuanzi a serving of takoyaki and amber fried chicken.
Tuanzi ended up with food all over her face.
Unfortunately, while she was absorbed in eating, her brother sneakily went to make the purchase, leading to the stylish cousin losing the cute furniture set, alas.
Once she was done eating, it was ti to head ho.
The siblings held hands, ready to take the elevator to the parking lot. As they passed the escalator, Tuanzi noticed a couple carrying a child, hastily speeding down the escalator.
"Brother, let’s follow them, seems fishy."
Gu Cheng naturally had no objections, and they followed down the stairs. As soon as they landed, a shadow suddenly charged at an ordinary-looking man.
The fight ended in the blink of an eye.
Looking again, Tuanzi only saw her cousin, whom she hadn’t seen for a few days, expertly cuffing soone.
At the sa ti, Si Huai’s colleagues explained to the surrounding crowd, "Police operation."
Tuanzi was about to greet him when the couple hurried off upon hearing ’police operation’, fleeing in panic.
"They seem suspicious!"
Tuanzi lunged forward swiftly, quickly hitting their acupoints and snatching away the approximately six-month-old baby.
