Bear-san Went to see Fina
Kagali-san and I returned to the land of Wa.
"A lot has happened." (Kagali)
"I was only planning to go for a little walk." (Yuna)
At first, I was curious about the land I saw from Targui, so I just wanted to stop by for a bit.
I never thought it would turn out like this.
"You must be loved by the God of Mischief." (Kagali)
Stop it, I refuse to be associated with such a God.
But when I think about the God who brought here, it was not an impossible story, and it was troubleso.
I'd been involved in various things since coming to this world.
My motto was supposedly to take it easy and relax.
"Anyway, I'm going ho." (Yuna)
"If you need anything, contact . If I'm free, I'll join you." (Kagali)
I wondered if Kagali-san had more freedom now after defeating the giant snake.
Maybe she just wanted to join to kill ti.
It was not sothing I could refuse, so I accepted her words gratefully.
"I'll ask for your help at that ti." (Yuna)
I opened the Bear Transfer Gate to Crimonia.
Next, Swaying Bear, Hugging Bear, and I returned to Crimonia.
I went back to my room and collapsed on my bed.
Crimonia was definitely a more comfortable place to live.
The next morning, I headed to the orphanage to see Fina.
Early in the morning, Fina would often help Tirumina-san with her work and was at the orphanage.
When I arrived at the orphanage, I headed towards the chicken coop.
When I entered the chicken coop, I could hear the children's voices as they were moving the chicken and cleaning.
One of the children noticed my arrival.
"Big sister Yuna!"
Everyone turned around at the sound of one voice.
"Everyone, you're doing a good job." (Yuna)
I pat the head of the girl who approached .
Then, one by one, the children gathered around .
It seed like everyone wanted their heads pat as well.
I pat everyone's head.
"Look, I know you're happy that Yuna-san ca, but you have to take good care of the chickens." (Liz)
Liz-san ca and warned the kids.
I smiled at the kids.
"Good work everyone." (Yuna)
The kids went back to work.
"As usual, they gather around when Yuna-san cos." (Liza)
"I haven't been around recently, after all." (Yuna)
It couldn't be helped, you know.
"Is Fina here?" (Yuna)
"I think she's counting eggs with Tirumina-san." (Liz)
I left Liz-san and headed to the hut where Tirumina-san was.
The eggs were managed in the hut.
When I entered the hut, Tirumina-san, Fina, and Shuri were counting the eggs.
"Fina, are the eggs for the Comrce Guild okay?" (Tirumina)
"Yeah, they're fine." (Fina)
"The eggs for the shop are fine too. Shuri, how many cracked eggs and leftovers?" (Tirumina)
"Um, 34." (Shuri)
Shuri answered quickly.
She could do the math as well.
The cracked eggs were used in the shop or eaten at the orphanage.
If it was just for making pudding or sothing, a few cracks wouldn't be a problem.
"Then, take them to the headmaster." (Tirumina)
"Okay, I got it." (Shuri)
Shuri took the eggs and looked towards the door.
I t Shuri's eyes.
"Big sister Yuna!" (Shuri)
Fina and Tirumina-san looked towards when they heard that.
"Oh, Yuna-chan, you were there? You should have called out to ." (Tirumina)
"You were working." (Yuna)
"Welco back, Yuna-chan." (Fina)
"I'm back." (Yuna)
"When did you get back?" (Fina)
"Yesterday." (Yuna)
As I was reporting to Fina that I'd returned, soone from the Comrce Guild ca to collect the eggs.
Tirumina-san checked the number of eggs and got a signature.
After confirming that there were no problems with the number, the guild staff carried the eggs out and loaded them onto a carriage outside the shed.
Fina and Shuri helped out, loading eggs to be delivered to the stores in addition to those to be delivered to the Comrce Guild.
Comrce Guild also carried eggs to be used in the store.
Mylene-san kindly offered to help , so I accepted the offer.
"It's on the way, so don't worry about it," she said at that ti.
I helped carry the eggs to the carriage, and all the eggs were loaded onto the carriage.
"Thank you." (Staff)
Fina and Shuri saw off the guild staff.
The carriage started moving.
This marks the end of Tirumina-san's work.
Tirumina-san said that she was going to see the headmaster, so I went with her.
When I went to see the headmaster, I found her and Neff-san surrounded by young children.
The headmaster said that since Neff-san ca, it had beco easier to take care of the children.
Liz-san was in charge of the older group. Neff-san seed to be taking care of the younger group.
I made a quick greeting to the headmaster.
Tirumina-san told the headmaster that she had finished her work and that she would be going shopping with Shuri, so we parted ways and with and Fina walking together. ṟΑꞐO͍𐌱Е𝐬
"So, where did you go? You said you were going sowhere cold." (Fina)
I'd spoken to Fina briefly once when I bought winter clothes for Lize-san.
I told her that I went to Targui with Kagali-san.
We saw land and decided to check it out.
There we found out that the town and its residents were frozen by the Ice Dragon.
I told her about the six people who remained unfrozen.
There was a girl among them, and I gave her winter clothes.
And then, I fought an Ice Dragon with Kagali-san.
Finally, about how the Ice Dragon left.
Every ti I told her the story, Fina's expression changed all the ti.
"So, what happened after?" (Fina)
"After the Ice Dragon left, the ice in the town began to lt, and the frozen people started moving." (Yuna)
"They were alive? That's a relief." (Fina)
Fina was relieved, as if it were her own story.
"But it's mysterious. To think people who were frozen for three years would suddenly start moving." (Fina)
I agreed with that.
Maybe the ice of the Ice Dragon was different from normal ice.
Well, it was better for people to be alive than dead.
Lize-san and the others have suffered for three years. I wanted them to be happy.
"I wonder if I will be okay if I freeze in the freezer at the store?" (Fina)
"It's dangerous, so don't do it." (Yuna)
Even half-jokingly, it was sothing one shouldn't do.
It was only because of the Ice Dragon's magic ice that residents froze, but stayed alive. People would obviously die if they froze normally.
So I was serious about stopping her.
Fina seed to understand, and said, "I won't."
"So you didn't kill the Ice Dragon, then?" (Fina)
"Oh, you wanted to dismantle it? If so, I'll try my best to kill one next ti." (Yuna)
"No, that's not what I was thinking about." (Fina)
Fina was dedicated to her work.
I thought she wanted to dismantle the Ice Dragon, but it seed that I was wrong.
"I don't even know where the Ice Dragons live, so I can't really go looking for them to defeat them." (Yuna)
"Ugh, Yuna-oneechan, you're an." (Fina)
Fina puffed out her cheeks.
"Sorry. But I do have so Ice Dragon scales. Would you like to take a look?" (Yuna)
"Um, I'd like to see them…" (Fina)
She answered shyly.
Fina worked with dismantling, so she might really be interested in what materials could be harvested from the Ice Dragons.
Fina and I headed to Bear House to show her the Ice Dragon scales.
Of course, I couldn't show them while walking.
When we returned to my Bear House, I imdiately took out the Ice Dragon scales.
"… They're pale blue and beautiful." (Fina)
Fina held the scales in both hands.
"Want to give them to you?" (Yuna)
"N-no." (Fina)
"I have a lot, so one will be fine." (Yuna)
I picked up a lot of scales that ti.
I shared so with Lize-san and the others, but I still had so left, so it was fine to give them to Fina.
"If I bring back Ice Dragon scales, mom and dad will be surprised." (Fina)
"Even if they see them, they won't know they're Ice Dragon scales." (Yuna)
They'd probably never seen Ice Dragon scales before.
"If they see such beautiful scales, they'll ask what they are." (Fina)
"You can just figure out so excuse." (Yuna)
"Besides, do you know how much Ice Dragon scales are worth?" (Fina)
"You think it's valuable?" (Yuna)
"They're Ice Dragon scales. You can't normally acquire them, even if you want them. The only person who would even try to fight an Ice Dragon is you, big sister Yuna." (Fina)
That was terrible of you, Fina.
"If word gets out to the Adventurer's Guild, it'll cause a fuss." (Fina)
I expected that to be the case.
So I would keep quiet about it.
If I was in a pinch, I might sell them.
However, I didn't know if that ti would ever co.
I have money from selling things at the dismantling event in the royal capital, and I also had money from the tolls for the tunnel connecting Crimonia and Mileela, so my money was just piling up.
Maybe I could buy a castle.
Even if I could, I wouldn't.
It would be a pain to clean and maintain one in the first place.
Servants? I didn't want to live with other people.
I didn't like living in a castle in the first place.
"Then, if I show the Ice Dragon's horn, it'll be a big problem as well." (Yuna)
"You have a horn too?" (Fina)
"I also have eggshells." (Yuna)
I told her the story behind that.
The horn was too big to show her, but I could show the eggshell in the room, so I took it out.
"Big." (Fina)
Fina looked at the broken Ice Dragon's eggshell.
"There's a baby Ice Dragon, but you didn't kill a baby Ice Dragon… right?" (Fina)
"What do you think of ? Like I said, the dragon already promised to leave after the baby Ice Dragon was born, so I didn't do anything to the parent or the baby." (Yuna)
"Well, I just thought that Yuna-oneechan would want to fight an Ice Dragon." (Fina)
Well, I did end up fighting one.
"I picked this up after the Ice Dragon left." (Yuna)
Fina then asked all about the Ice Dragon.
Maybe she wanted to dismantle one after all?
