Bear-san and the Ice Dragon Part Ways
After finishing our talk with the Ice Dragon, Kagali-san and I returned to Lize-san and the others.
"Yuna-san, Kagali-chan…" (Lize)
Lize-san and the others rushed over to us, as if they were worried about us.
I told them that Ice Dragon's baby had been born and that they would be leaving tomorrow.
"Really!?" (Lize)
"It's been a long ti." (Bollard)
I didn't know when Ice Dragon's baby would be born, or when Ice Dragon would be leaving.
But when Lize-san and the others found out that the baby had been born and that the dragons would be leaving tomorrow, they were even happier than yesterday.
"When I first saw her, I thought she was just a strangely dressed young lady." (Lize)
"She was dressed as a bear. I was surprised when a girl dressed as a bear ca out from a bear shaped house." (Bollard)
It appeared that my bear costu would be considered strange, no matter where I go.
I think Kagali-san's traditional Japanese clothes were also rare, but my bear costu was even rarer.
"Yuna-san and Kagali-chan, will you really be going ho this ti?" (Lize)
"We will be going ho after we see the Ice Dragon leave." (Yuna)
I was thinking that I should at least wait until I saw the Ice Dragon leave before I go back so that I wouldn't worry about it after.
After discussion with Kagali-san, we decided to defeat the remaining Ice Golems to avoid potential issues.
Kagali-san and I split up and rode Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear to defeat the Ice Golems.
Fire really was the best against ice.
The Ice Golems lted easily.
It was good that Fire Elent was effective.
After defeating all the Ice Golems, when I returned, the fisherman Baran-san had caught so fish for us and treated us well.
I didn't know what kind of fish it was, but it was delicious.
While eating, one of the old n comnted, "If we had so alcohol, it would have been great," and Kagali-san took out so alcohol from her item bag and served it to everyone.
Then, Kagali-san joined in and tried to drink, but I stopped her.
Kagali-san looked at with a resentful expression, but I had no choice.
I couldn't have her drink alcohol in front of everyone while looking like a little girl.
Seeing stop Kagali-san who was about to drink alcohol, Lize-san said, "That was a joke, right?"
"It was a joke." (Yuna)
"But she looked really disappointed." (Lize)
Recently, Kagali-san had refrained from drinking alcohol in preparation for the Ice Dragon's arrival, so maybe she really wanted to drink.
"But why did Kagali-chan have alcohol?" (Lize)
Normally, children would not carry alcohol around, right?
I had so too, but it was only the kind I used for cooking.
So I made up a nice excuse, saying "Perhaps her parents asked her to go shopping."
Lize-san didn't seem to believe , but she didn't press any further.
Because I couldn't tell the truth, that was just how it was.
And so the party went on late into the night.
The next morning, I was woken up by a slap.
I opened my eyes slightly and saw the Swaying Bear right in front of .
I looked out the window and it was bright.
But I was still sleepy.
"Let sleep a little longer." (Yuna)
"Let sleep a little longer too." (Kagali)
Looking at the futon next to , Kagali-san was being attacked by the Hugging Bear.
I was sleepy because I was chatting with Lize-san and the others until late last night.
This was also because Kagali-san was making everyone drink alcohol.
The old n made a fuss, and we ended up joining them.
So, we went to bed late and didn't get enough sleep.
There was nothing dangerous happening now, so I think it was okay to oversleep a little.
I brushed off Swaying Bear's small hand, and the mont I was about to close my eyes, there was a loud thud and the ground shook.

Kagali-san and I got up hastily.
At the sa ti, a shadow fell outside the window.
I opened the window and saw an Ice Dragon.
All my sleepiness disappeared instantly.
The Ice Dragon was holding a baby Ice Dragon in its mouth.

The Ice Dragon lowered the baby it was holding to the ground.
"Human children, I ca to tell you that we are leaving. Also, go check out my nest on the mountaintop. There is sothing there." (Ice Dragon)
"What?" (Yuna)
"I am Lieren." (Lieren)
"Lieren? Is that your na? I am Yuna." (Yuna)
"I am Kagali." (Kagali)
"Human children. Yuna, Kagali, thank you for your care help." (Lieren)
The Ice Dragon said what it wanted to say, then picked up her baby from the ground and spread her wings wide.
It looked like they were finally going to leave.
"Next ti, don't lay eggs in a place where people live." (Yuna)
I hoped that no more people would beco unhappy because of an accident like this.
Even if the Ice Dragon had no ill intentions, its existence was a nuisance to normal people.
Of course, the reverse was also true as humans also stepped into places where monsters, animals, and even plants grew.
Even if both sides had no ill intentions, sotis they simply couldn't coexist.
There was nothing we could do about it.
So it was best for both sides to stay away from each other.
I didn't know whether the Ice Dragon heard or not, but it looked like she nodded.

Kagali-san and I looked at the Ice Dragon flying away from the window.
"I can't believe it was the Ice Dragon Lieren." (Kagali)

"Well, I don't want to hear that from soone who's lived a hundred tis longer than ." (Yuna)
The longer you lived, the more knowledge you had.
There was even a phrase for it: Grandma's wisdom.
Of course, I didn't say the last part out loud because I didn't want to die yet.
"So, is she famous?" (Yuna)
"She appears in legends from ti to ti. Think of her as sothing similar to Targui." (Kagali)
If it was like that, even Fina and Shia might know about her.
"Now that I think about it, she asked us to visit her nest on the mountaintop." (Yuna)

I'd heard that dragons loved to collect treasures.
There might be a lot of gold, silver, and jewels in the nest.
Perhaps she was giving them to us as compensation for the trouble?

Although I didn't look closely because I was busy fighting the new Ice Dragon, I didn't rember there being any gold or silver treasures on the mountaintop.
If there were gold or silver treasures, it would have been noticeable.
"So what's there?" (Yuna)
"We'll find out once we go up there." (Kagali)

While I was talking to Kagali-san, I saw Lize-san outside.
Lize-san was walking slowly, looking in the direction the Ice Dragon had flown away.
"Lize-san!" (Yuna)
When I called her na, Lize-san turned around.
"Yuna-san, Kagali-chan!" (Lize)
Kagali-san and I got changed and went outside the Bear House.
"The Ice Dragon really left." (Lize)
I couldn't see the Ice Dragon anymore.
"It's so far away now." (Kagali)
"That's right." (Lize)
There was a person here with good eyesight.
I couldn't see it.
My eyesight was 1.2, or rather, it should be better than that.
Well, considering that I played gas and read manga, I think it was pretty good.
"This is all thanks to Yuna-san and Kagali-chan." (Lize)

Apparently, she had seen the Ice Dragon when it ca to visit my place.
"Then, it landed in front of Yuna-san's house and talked to Yuna-san and Kagali-chan about sothing." (Lize)
"She just ca to tell us that they were leaving. And she also told us to visit her nest on the mountaintop." (Yuna)
"The mountaintop? Is there sothing there?" (Lize)
"I don't know, but it seems like there's sothing in the Ice Dragon's nest. I thought I'd go and see it later." (Yuna)
"…If it's not a bother, can I co with you?" (Lize)
The Ice Dragon was not there anymore, and we'd defeated the Ice Golems.
Even if the Ice Dragon was still around, she was not as bad as Ice Golems.
"I don't mind." (Yuna)
"Thank you. I'll leave a note, so Father don't worry." (Lize)
"Leave a note? What are the others doing?" (Yuna)
"They're still asleep. It seems like they drank too much." (Lize)
Ah, it was because of the liquor Kagali-san gave them.
The old n drank a lot, probably because they were happy to have had a drink for the first ti in a while.
Lize-san's father drank as well.
"How pathetic. Being drowned by just that much alcohol." (Kagali)
That being said, we were also sleeping until Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear woke us up. If the Ice Dragon hadn't appeared, Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear probably wouldn't have woken us up, so we most likely would have slept the whole ti as well.
"That's part of why they ended up this way, but I think they were just happy and relieved to hear that the Ice Dragon was leaving. Until Yuna-san and Kagali-chan ca here, I haven't seen everyone looking so happy before." (Lize)
"Well, I suppose, it couldn't be helped. I'll be leaving so more alcohol for everyone to enjoy later." (Kagali)
"It's not good to drink too much, so I'll keep it under control, and don't give it to the old folks." (Lize)
She was still young, but she was strong.
I think that was because of how much she had struggled so far.
Lize-san went back to the mine to leave a note saying that she was going to the mountaintop with us.
"There's no need to rush. We'll head out after breakfast." (Yuna)
I called out to Lize-san as she entered the mine entrance, and Kagali-san and I went into the Bear House and had a simple breakfast.
Then we cleaned up the Bear House, and Kagali-san, Lize-san and I climbed onto Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear and set off for the mountaintop.
