Bear-San, Canceling the Contract Magic
After each of us had introduced ourselves, we left by foot, heading towards the elf village.
“It’s strange that a door that can take us to a place so far away from the Land of Wa.” (Sakura)
Sakura said as she looked around.
“I agree with that sentint as well.” (Kagali)
“I still can’t believe the magic door either.” (Noa)
“I didn’t know there was such a door.” (Misa)
Sakura, Kagali-san, Noa, and Misa again murmured their impressions of the Bear Transfer Gate.
“Where did you get such a door?” (Noa)
“It’s a secret, I can’t answer that.” (Yuna)
It was my skill. It was not an object or treasure that I obtained, it was who created the Bear Transfer Gate.
But I couldn’t reveal that.
“You are full of mysteries as usual.” (Kagali)
That could not be helped.
I did possess mysterious magic tools and was stronger than the others. And above all, I was dressed like a stuffed toy bear.

“Ruimin-san, what kind of village is the elven village?” (Noa)

“You could say that it’s just an ordinary village. There are fields and a few houses.” (Yuna)
“I see.” (Noa)

Ruimin cautioned everyone who was looking forward to it.

“We might also find things that are rare for us, but Ruimin-san does not realize it.” (Noa)
“Like unusual ingredients?” (Ruimin)
Ruimin, Noa and Misa conversed as if they knew each other already.
“Like Cheese.” (Noa)
Noa, feeling my gaze, replied.
It was true that cheese could be used in many ways. You could eat it as it was. It was also delicious with bread.

“Actually, my magic power reserves has finally returned to normal levels because of that tea.” (Sakura)
“Really!” (Ruimin)
Ruimin reacted to Sakura’s words.
“Yes. I haven’t fully examined the exact details yet, but my mana has begun to regenerate properly. This is thanks to the tea that Ruimin-san has given to .” (Sakura)
“I’m glad to hear that. I’m sure Sakura-chan’s wishes were conveyed.” (Yuna)
It was said that if one used too much magic power when they were young, their magic power would be depleted, and one would no longer be able to generate magic power, or be able to use magic as effectively as before.
In order to strengthen the seal of the giant serpent, Sakura poured her magic power into it until she was completely void of mana.

“Ruimin, can you take care of everyone? I have to go to Mumroot-san’s house.” (Yuna)
I wanted to talk to Mumroot-san regarding the magic circle I used to keep everyone silent about my secrets.
“Then I’ll go with you.” (Kagali)
“Okay, I understand. I’ll take care of everyone.” (Ruimin)
Although I asked Ruimin to watch over others, Ruimin seed unreliable for the role.
So I turned to Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear.
“Swaying Bear, Hugging Bear, please take care of everyone as well.” (Yuna)
“”Kuu~n.””
Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear squeaked dependably. I would be assured if Swaying Bear and Hugging Bear were with them.
Kagali-san, who had to get off Hugging Bear, looked a little disappointed that she had to get off Hugging Bear.
After parting with Fina and the others, Kagali-san and I followed Mumroot-san back to his house.
“Looking around, this place is really different, huh?” (Kagali)

As we entered the house, we heard footsteps and Mumroot-san’s wife, Bena-san, arrived.
“Welco Yuna-chan!” (Bena)
It appeared that she knew I was coming.

Bena-san turned to Kagali-san, who was standing next to .
“Kagali?” (Bena)
“It’s been a while. I’ll be staying with you for a bit.” (Kagali)
“Yes, please take your ti.” (Bena)
Kagali-san tagged along with us before when we went to the elf village and went to see Mumroot-san during Fina’s birthday. It was my present to Fina at that ti, to go anywhere she wanted using the Bear Transfer Gate.
It seed that Kagali-san and Bena-san had t each other at that ti.
“I’ll be taking Yuna and Kagali to the back room.” (Mumroot)
“Okay, I’ll prepare the tea.” (Bena)
We left Bena-san and went to the back room.
Mumroot-san brought us to a room with many carpets.
(T/N: Here carpets are basically magic scrolls.)
“Could these all be magic circles?” (Kagali)
Kagali-san’s eyes widened as she looked around the room.
“Ooh, now then, which carpet has the magic circle for Contract Magic on it?” (Kagali)
Mumroot-san started looking for the carpet with the magic circle for Contract Magic on it.
Kagali-san pulled out a nearby carpet and spread it out on the floor.
“Kagali, what are you doing? You will get in the way of finding the magic circle for Contract Magic.” (Mumroot)
“It’s your fault for bringing to such an interesting place.” (Kagali)
After saying so, Kagali-san started looking at the carpet with the magic circle on it.
“This is a familiar magic circle, but a little different.” (Kagali)
Kagali-san said as she looked at one of the magic circles.
“You can tell what’s the magic in it just by looking at the magic circle?” (Yuna)
“Not the full details, just part of it. There is a basic structure to a magic circle after all. But only the creator of the magic circle can truly tell what magic is in it. In so cases, the magic circle that is visible may also include fake parts to hide the core of the magic circle.” (Kagali)
“So of them were acquired during my travels around the world, so so of them may include fake parts.” (Mumroot)
“There is no problem with including fake parts in a magic circle, as long as they do not decrease the effectiveness of said magic circle. The problem is that it’s just more pointless processing.” (Kagali)
According to Kagali-san, so magic circles were not effective unless the fake parts were removed.
Mumroot-san also added that only the creator would know which parts were fake.
“But if you know the basics, then you should be able to modify or activate the magic circle to a certain extent.” (Kagali)
Kagali-san started to concentrate on the carpet with the magic circle on it.
I left Kagali-san alone, and Mumroot-san and I ca into the living room, after having found the carpet with the magic circle for Contract Magic on it.
“Please, have so tea.” (Bena)
Bena-san put the tea on the table.
“Where’s Kagali?” (Bena)
“Kagali is still inside the room. She is busy inspecting the magic circles.” (Yuna)
“I see, then I will bring the tea to her.” (Bena)
With that, Bena-san left the room.
“So, how do I cancel the Contract Magic?” (Yuna)
“Are you sure you want to cancel it?” (Mumroot)
“As I said before, I don’t think Mumroot-san and Ruimin will divulge my secrets. And would only do so if you are in imminent danger. Besides, I don’t want you and the rest to die by so mistake.” (Yuna)
“Oh, thank you for trusting us.” (Mumroot)
“So, what do I have to do?” (Yuna)
“Put your hand over here.” (Mumroot)
I placed my hand where he pointed.
Mumroot-san placed his hand on the opposite side of mine.
“If you say [Release] after sending magic power to the magic circle, the magic power that connected us to the contract will be cut off, and the contract will be broken.” (Mumroot)
I let the magic flow through and said [Release].
“Now you won’t end up dying from laughter accidently, right?” (Yuna)

“Yes, I also won’t have to laugh anymore if I need your help in tis of ergency.” (Mumroot)
It would be interesting to see him laugh while he was frantically asking for help in tis when the village was truly in danger.
But probably because we were thinking of the sa scenario, Mumroot-san and I ended up laughing at each other.
“Oh my, did sothing fun happen?” (Bena)
Bena-san returned.
“Mumroot, that girl has been rifling through magic circle carpets and does not seem to know how to clean up after the ss. Please help her to clean up properly later.” (Bena)
“Okay. I will handle it.” (Mumroot)
