Sohow, as they talked, I slipped inside the cave, moving slowly, careful with every step, letting their voices cover the small sounds of my breath and boots.
The cave air was thick and damp, and the echo of their conversation rolled over the stone walls in a lazy rhythm.
I stayed close to the shadows, letting the darkness swallow as I moved deeper, my eyes adjusting bit by bit until I could finally see the two figures clearly.
The younger voice was coming from a huge green frog.
His body was massive, round, and slick, his skin shining faintly under the weak light of the cave.
His voice carried a lighter tone, almost childish, but there was strength behind it.
The deeper voice ca from an ugly-looking monkey.
He was tall and wide, his fra thick with muscle, his arms long and heavy as they hung near the ground.
His face was twisted and rough, and when he spoke, it felt like the sound vibrated through the stone itself.
They were facing each other, talking as if they owned the place, completely unaware of .
Using the chance as they talked, I slipped behind the monkey.
His fra was very big, so big that he blocked much of my view of the frog, and because of that size, he couldn’t bother noticing at all.
His attention was elsewhere, his posture relaxed, his guard down, as if nothing in the world could threaten him.
I stopped just behind him and waited.
My heart was beating hard, but I forced myself to stay calm.
Seeing a small gap, a mont where neither of them shifted or turned, I slowly took the sword from my inventory.
The familiar weight of it settled into my hands, grounding .
I knew I only had one chance to do this right.
I planted my feet and began charging my attack.
One minute passed.
Then two.
Then three.
My legs burned from holding the position, and sweat ran down my back despite the cool cave air.
Four minutes.
My arms trembled slightly, but I kept going.
Five whole minutes passed as I poured everything into that single strike, my focus narrowing until there was nothing else in the world but the sword, the target, and the mont to co.
Once it was ready, I tensed my legs.
Every muscle tightened at once, like a coiled spring.
I jumped, pushing off the ground with all my strength, and landed on his nape.
The impact jolted both of us.
The monkey let out a sharp sound of surprise, his body jerking forward.
"Wait, what is this?" he shouted, his voice breaking in shock.
But before he could continue, before he could even turn his head, I brought the sword down and landed the strike on his neck.
The blade moved cleanly, smoothly, as if guided by instinct alone.
In one swift movent, I cut his head cleanly.
It separated without resistance and fell to the ground with a heavy thud, rolling once before coming to a stop.
The cave went silent for a split second.
Then the frog’s eyes widened.
His large, round eyes filled instantly, and he broke into loud crying.
"Big brother!" he scread, his voice cracking as his body shook.
The sound echoed painfully through the cave.
Then, slowly, his crying stopped.
His tears burned away, and his eyes turned red, glowing with fury as they locked onto .
"I will make you pay for this," he said, his voice low and shaking, filled with rage.
He took a deep breath, so deep that his green belly bulged outward, stretching tight.
For a brief mont, everything felt still.
Then a long tongue shot out from his mouth, fast and straight like a whip.
Thanks to my quick reaction, I dodged the blow, throwing myself to the side just in ti.
The tongue missed by inches and went straight through the wall behind .
Stone exploded outward, and a huge chunk of the wall was destroyed.
Dust filled the air.
Looking more closely through the cloud, I could see his tongue was coated by so green substance.
It hissed and stead where it touched the rock, lting even the stone itself.
He seed to get even angrier seeing that I dodged.
His face twisted, his body shaking with rage.
I didn’t wait for him to attack again.
Using my sword, I lifted it up and swung with precision, cutting his tongue clean.
The severed part fell to the ground, twitching wildly, slapping against the stone again and again before finally stopping.
His eyes burst into tears, and he cried loudly, a broken, painful sound.
His tongue stump thrashed uselessly as he staggered back.
Seeing how distracted he was, I jumped toward him without hesitation.
I drove forward and buried my sword into his eyes.
Unfortunately, that didn’t seem to take him down.
He scread and flailed, but he stayed standing.
Sohow, he had a tenacious vitality that refused to let him fall so easily.
He swung blindly, his movents wild and desperate.
I stayed close and kept moving.
After a dozen slashes to his joints and mbers, cutting again and again until his strength drained away, he finally collapsed.
His breathing slowed, each breath weaker than the last, until he took his final one and went still.
I wiped the sweat from my face, my hands shaking slightly as the tension left my body.
"Ok," I muttered, trying to steady myself, "only that crazy dragon left."
But before I could finish my words, the whole cave shook violently.
The ground trembled under my feet, stones falling from above.
I didn’t wait to see what would happen next.
I rushed outside, my heart pounding, and the mont I erged, I saw it.
Crazed Lucy was fighting an equally crazed dragon.
They clashed fiercely, their movents wild and relentless, neither willing to give ground.
The air felt heavy with their presence, and the ground trembled with every motion they made.
Lucy shouted at her, her voice sharp and full of fire.
"Quit, Elia, he is mine!"
The dragon shouted back just as fiercely.
"No!"
The tension between them was thick, almost visible.
But the mont I stepped fully outside, they both froze.
Their movents stopped at once.
Slowly, almost in perfect sync, they turned their heads toward .
Their eyes locked onto mine.
Then, at the sa ti, they spoke together, their voices blending into one chilling, playful sound.
"Hehehe, finally husband, we found you~"
