After so response, Leon finally returned to the dormitory and rummaged for pen and paper, sketching a series of runes and geotric demon runes on the paper, trying to design and calculate a usable magic ceremony.

Writing down the materials needed for the auxiliary magic ceremony, Leon didn’t hold out much hope, without ntioning the different nas for many minerals and basic substances between two worlds, even if the languages were similar, many things couldn’t guarantee effectiveness.

If relying solely on magic power to maintain the structure of the large ceremony’s demon runes, it feared it would need to absorb as much magic elent as possible at one go.... especially considering the interference of different laws of reality on magic....

While conceiving a simple new magic, Leon glanced and saw Olivia, unexpectedly awake, lying on the bed, watching him writing and drawing with her head tilted.

"Did I wake you?"

"It’s okay, a little sleep is enough, I’m not that fragile." Olivia smiled, propping herself up, and curiously asked, "What did you just go to verify?"

"To confirm the real reason why we ca to this world." Leon replied, imdiately telling her what he had just learned from Rousseau and Sasha.

"... those vampire undead, were always ancient legends in this world, until three years ago, when a magic disaster erupted here that swept across the land, those monsters appeared before the world openly, along with them, the local evil god faith appeared.

The vampires who worship the so-called Blood God turned many rulers and military leaders seeking to escape the reign of the disease into the Blood Clan, and deceived crowds of living beings into becoming slaves supplying them with blood food, I suspect the vampire species here were all created by that Blood Demon... just like Baron Charlemagne."

Leon paused his multitasking pen tip, habitually stroked his chin: "There is also an evil cult belief known as the ’Alien God,’ which appeared alongside the local Blood God Sect before the disaster, spreading apocalyptic prophecies, though at the ti, locals rely regarded it as a curious tale.

Until the disaster struck, the cultists proclaiming the path of salvation gradually garnered a large following among the plague sufferers, however... the current survivors know very little about their organization, only a female soldier nad Sasha has witnessed the inhuman sacrifice ritual of the Alien God Sect, and fortunately escaped that organization."

Having said this, Leon looked at Olivia: "The alien god worshiped by that cult is referred to by the cultists as ’Valary’.

Olivia slightly frowned, recalling with suspicion: "... I seem to have heard this na, yes, when we defeated that Horror Demon, it apparently cursed this na in its words."

"That’s right, but that’s not all, His Majesty Kamoz of the barren mountain also ntioned, that exiled Blood Demon, roared the sa pronunciation in its final fury, nearly identical." Leon nodded.

"If the two demons roared at the sa being, then I suspect, back when higher demons descended on Rolannar’s Cursed Domain, there was more than just the Horror Demon and Blood Demon."

Leon turned his chair, trying to gather and weave together the information he knew in his mind, tore another sheet off the notebook in his hand, and wrote down the Horror Demon Quentin Zalar, Blood Demon Skush, and that unknown Valary, one by one.

"Regardless of whether this world and our ho world’s ti flow are the sa, I’m sure now, the magic disaster affecting both worlds and this dinsional convergence catastrophe are definitely orchestrated by these three spirit realm demons."

After so thought, Leon temporarily wrote down the Corpse Demon Lord Aviout, Blood Baron Chaleman, and the Great Lich Kazak known from the Blood Knight’s mouth, under the possible corresponding demon nas.

"These higher demons couldn’t easily pierce through our world’s curtain, descend into the world, so they created undead proxies for indirect control, to massacre living beings, capture vast numbers of souls, build altars for that Great Magic Ceremony, establishing anchor points in our ho world.

At the sa ti, the demons did almost the sa thing in this world, only, whatever their purpose was, it was ultimately thwarted by the Holy War Army, but now it seems, we might have only stopped the Horror Demon and Blood Demon."

".... You an." Olivia’s eyes flickered, instantly understanding: "That demon called Valary betrayed his comrades! That’s why the Horror Demon and Blood Demon were so furious when banished!"

"Yes, I even suspect... whether those two higher demons were truly banished by us." Leon pondered, frowning as he looked at Olivia, the clearer his mory beca, the more puzzled he felt.

"Do you rember, in that ancient Holy Prophet’s underground tomb, that Horror Demon was far more powerful than we were at that ti, but then it beca weaker and weaker, until its physical body was destroyed by us, don’t you find it strange?"

Leon stood up, pacing and contemplating: "And His Majesty Kamoz at the rear, the Helarnian people were all prepared to make a noble sacrifice, but the Blood Demon was forcibly pulled back into the spirit realm before the Cursed Domain dissolved."

"Just like your ’dog-eat-dog’ theory? That demon nad Valary secretly plotted against the other demons in the end, intending to monopolize so kind of ’goal’ they were all after." Olivia’s expression beca serious; she had heard such conspiracies countless tis in her husband’s bedti stories of his hotown.
