189: Chapter 105: The aning of the Headband 189: Chapter 105: The aning of the Headband He sketched the simple design of a lady’s everyday outfit in his mind, marked with a white blouse, blue skirt, and bow tie neckline.

Leon found that, perhaps from drawing complicated Demon Runes often, his drawing skills had actually beco quite refined.

“But…

Would drawing those magic patterns really help improve drawing techniques?”

He wasn’t sure and didn’t ponder it too much.

Mr.

Salto watched as the well-off young man sketched and made requests, asuring out the needed sizes on a ruler, frequently nodding in agreent.

It wasn’t a complicated outfit—just a neat and tidy dress.

While the dyes would be quite expensive, the style’s detailed requirents were indeed rare.

Even rarer was the pairing of the outfit with an expensive pair of black velvet stockings.

Initially, the elderly tailor thought the stockings were for the young man himself.

But knowing that they were ant to match the length of a young girl’s legs, Mr.

Salto raised his eyebrows.

Having a girl wear a man’s stockings was quite novel; in all his years of tailoring, Mr.

Salto had never seen such an arrangent.

Taking the pen and ink from the young man’s hand, the tailor then jotted down the various asurents the youth had rattled off like a well-learnt lesson—height, chest, waist, hips, shoulders, arms, neck, and so on.

As Leon recalled, he also felt fortunate; he had already planned to soday afford to have a Knight Armor tailored for Olivia that wouldn’t hinder her agility.

Thus, he had already taken the girl’s asurents beforehand, sparing them the need to bring her to the tailor’s shop for a fitting today.

After enthusiastically dishing out his requirents, Leon didn’t forget to buy several differently colored hair ties and decorations from the tailor’s shop.

Most were souvenirs for the ladies and girls at ho, including Miss Elena and Aunt Milia, especially his young maid Lena—Leon had long wanted to see how she would look with twin ponytails.

As for that ticulously chosen blue hairband decorated with an amber stone, naturally, it was intended for Olivia.

Seeing the young man buy so many exquisite hairbands at once, the elderly tailor naturally assud they were all for the sa girl.

He couldn’t help but feel moved by the young man’s deep affection…

After all…

Gifting hairbands to a lady already had significant aning…

To give so many at once…

What a passionate young fellow…

Unaware of any implications of his gifts for the won in his household, Leon didn’t realize anything was amiss.

Had it not been for the fact that Miss Lola was a Spiritual Body, he would have certainly chosen sothing for her as well.

Leon was ticulously fair, selecting souvenirs for all the ladies at ho.

He then also chose good-quality boots for Azeryan, Lokhak, and Kovis, and brought along a few sturdy pairs of shoes for the young male servants.

After collecting the deposit for the dress and paynts for the goods, the old tailor’s smile blood like a daisy, respectfully waiving the fee for the drafting paper for the affluent and lovestruck young master before him.

The unique dress design on that sketch paper had given him plenty of new inspiration for clothing; having already gained a great deal, Mr.

Salto didn’t want to be greedy.

He threw in a large leather bag for free and summoned an apprentice to pack the boots and shoes, treating the custor with tender care as he saw him out, securing the goods to the saddle of his horse.

Leon watched, feeling sowhat self-mocking.

He had rely planned to casually browse, yet this venture had turned him into a shopping spree, impulsively buying a big bag of items.

However, as Olivia’s whereabouts were unknown, all Leon’s picking and purchasing saw him stepping out of the tailor’s shop yet still not catching sight of her return.

After waiting another ten minutes or so, he finally saw the girl contentedly leading her horse towards him.

Leon glanced at Olivia and her horse, not noticing anything new on either, though her expression seed happily expectant.

“Did you finish your shopping?” Leon asked curiously.

“Yes, sorry to keep you waiting, I got a bit delayed ~hmm~…

Let’s go, Leon~♪, I have no other plans,” Olivia replied with a cheerful tone.

As they continued their journey together, the girl soon noticed the leather sack tied to her companion’s saddle.

“What is that?” she asked.

“So things I brought for Azeryan and the others,” Leon replied, smiling at her, “and a surprise I prepared for you.”

“?” Olivia paused, blinking, “Eh?

You also…

hmm…

you bought a gift?”

“You guess~…

It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you now,” Leon said, playing mysterious.

With a puzzled and curious expression, Leon exchanged sufficient silver coins and copper coins at the traders’ guild, then headed towards the Baron Family’s large fortress located in the highlands of the Inner City.

Azeryan had already been there nurous tis, but this was Leon’s first visit to the Sealing Lord’s castle.

Showing his parchnt credentials and revealing an emblem ring to prove his identity and purpose, Leon led Olivia past the first outer city gate, stepping onto the castle’s inner slope circling the highland.

Passing through successive towering fortress gates, andering through the carefully designed complex outer wall section, and crossing the drawbridge in front of the inner castle gate, they finally entered the true interior of the castle.

Here lies the center of power for the Thorns Flower family, governing a population of nearly one hundred thousand.

Behind the castle’s inner walls, bristling with bed crossbows, lay a clearly outlined polygonal area.
