After a full month of serialization, this new author, Xiaolu’s, first book is finally going premium!

Now that the premium release details are out of the way, I believe this is the part where I’m supposed to tell a sob story, based on my observations.

And when it cos to being miserable, well, Xiaolu certainly is.

I’m pushing thirty with no car, no house, no savings, and no partner.

A textbook case of having nothing to my na.

But...

...it’s not so bad that I can’t survive.

There are plenty of people in the world who have it worse than , so I think I can skip the sob story and get straight to asking for first-day subscriptions.

The "first-day subscription" count is the number of people who subscribe to the first premium Chapter (Chapter 69) within the first 24 hours of its release (from 12:00 PM, June 9th to 12:00 PM, June 10th). This number is absolutely vital for whether the novel gets future recomndations, whether it can be considered a success, and whether I can even continue writing it!

For just a few cents, my Godfathers can give Xiaolu the motivation and determination to keep writing!

After all...

If I spend five or six hours a day in front of my computer to the point of near-lumbar strain, lose sleep every night while brainstorming the plot, and have my hair falling out in droves, only for the money I earn to not even be enough to afford an extra chicken leg with my al... it would be very difficult for Xiaolu to carry on. I hope my Godfathers can understand...

With the begging for first-day subs out of the way, let’s talk about the future update schedule.

Xiaolu hereby promises to release at least 6,000 characters a day. Once I get into that rhythm, I’ll see if I can work my way up to a consistent 10,000 characters a day.

As long as the first-day subscription numbers aren’t too terrible, then Xiaolu will be here co rain or shine, never missing an update, until the very end of the novel!

As for bonus Chapters—for things like donations, monthly passes, or "Alliance Lord" supporters—as a complete newbie, Xiaolu doesn’t really understand all that yet. I’ll have to wait and see how things go before saying more on that front.

However, if I do start releasing bonus Chapters, Xiaolu will post a separate announcent each month to lay out the details. I will also be sure to add the words "Bonus Chapter" to the end of the relevant Chapter titles.

Finally, to prevent my true, dedicated Godfathers from being bothered by mindless trolls and spamrs, Xiaolu will be activating a "1-point Fan Value to comnt" restriction after the book goes premium. I hope you can all understand.

Of course, if you find anything unreasonable in my approach, please point it out kindly. Xiaolu will take it seriously and correct his mistakes.
