[MUSIC RECOMNDATION: HO ~ SUIN]

Carriages were lined up as the guests of Badukeh got ready to leave for Morado.

Venantius went all-in in the preparation, he brought out all of his best carriages made with the finest woods, and a different gift for the newborn.

"Are we going to build a palace elsewhere or visit a newborn?" Axilla whispered only to the hearing of Cortez. The preparations were just too much; she couldn’t help but ask.

Cortez smiled, "Allow him, he should do what he can. Let’s go." He started walking to the empty carriage.

"Do you know if the Queen put to bed a prince or princess? I want to know the gift I would add," Venantius asked his aide, and he was heard by everyone.

Hieron pointed at everything, "You an this is not the gift for my great-grandchild?" The older man asked worriedly.

Venantius waved his hand, "This is just a gift for the royal family, I should put sothing special for the child. Don’t you think?"

Heiron rubbed his temples tiredly, turning to Lady Hash he helped the woman climb comfortably inside the carriage, "Let’s leave this place, I wasn’t there to receive my great-grandchild, and I am not aware of the gender. Waiting for this man to find a gift would be a delay. Let’s leave."

Lady Hash chuckled before she sat on the carriage couch, she asked, "What about my daughter, where is she?"

"With Cortez obviously, with the way things are going with them, you should be expecting grandchildren soon," Heiron teased sitting opposite the woman.

Outside the carriage, Chantal and the king’s aide loaded the gifts inside the carriage. When Chantal’s hand slipped and one of the boxes almost fell, Dominique helped him pick it up.

Chantal narrowed his eyes, "I rember you," it was the sa man who he had fought with long ago when Almaria tried to take over the palace.

Dominique cleared his throat, "I’ll finish up here, you can join the moving carriage." He replied with a bow.

Before Chantal could take a step forward, Dominique held his arm and asked. "Were you perhaps trained by the King of Morado?"

Chantal nodded, "You can say that... why?" he asked.

Dominique rubbed his forehead, "Do you think he would accept as a student? All my years of swordsmanship, I’ve never t anyone as strong as he is." The man muttered, not even the supre King he completed in his head.

Chantal clicked his tongue, "You can ask him yourself, when we get to Morado." He wriggled his hand off from the man, as he walked away joining a carriage.

At dusk, the carriages from Badukeh arrived in Morado. It was a long procession, with commoners following the carriages behind.

Nix stepped out to welco the guests; he was surprised to see his grandfather. They had not sent the letter to Lord Hieron because they were worried about how things were being handled there.

"Lord Hieron, how did you? ....What happened?" Nix asked as soon as his grandfather alighted from the carriage.

Hieron ignored his grandson, stepping forward he asked, "Where is my great-grandchild?"

Nix smiled, "Who said it was a child? You should be asking about your great-grandchildren."

Hieron stopped in his tracks, "You don’t say?" His eyes widened with surprise and he received a confirmation nod from Nix.

Others who had just stepped down from the carriage heard this, and they were all surprised to hear that the Queen of Morado had given birth to twins. Having twins was only rare, and a woman who ever dared to were considered as the strongest and bravest amongst females.

Kitanna was resting when she heard her door pushed open only to see the people she wasn’t expecting. Her family was now complete.

"Axilla? Lady Hash? Woah Lord Hieron!..." The young queen exclaid excitedly.

Larel, who was cleaning one of the twins, while Labre sat on a stool close to the other, was also surprised to see everyone present.

"How did you?" Kitanna asked, her eyes moving here and there. She couldn’t explain just how happy she was to have everyone she cherished around her.

Axilla was the first to carry one of the babies, "They are so beautiful."

Hieron picked up the other baby from Larel, "My little princess, I’m papa Heiron." The man’s smile was so broad, evidence of his happiness.

Everyone took turns to hold the babies, congratulating the king and the queen. When the noise died down, Kitanna asked Axilla, who was sitting close to her.

"What happened? How co you’re here, what about Venantius?"

Axilla inhaled deeply and narrated the whole story to Kitanna and what had happened, including the way the man decided to tag along.

"He dared to co here?" Kitanna asked.

Axilla nodded, "He is outside now with King Nix. I hope everything works out well."

Outside the palace, Nix stood face to face with the man who had his father killed long ago.

"Was it bravery or foolishness that brought you here?" Nix asked, glaring at the man.

Venantius cleared his throat, "I’ll say family." The man replied, staring back at the King of Morado. Though young, the man still had this authority that made him supre over other males around him.

"Congratulations, King Nix." Venantius bowed, snapping his fingers for the gifts to be brought forward.

Nix narrowed his eyes at the man, he didn’t notice that the man was in the crowd until it was ti to go back inside.

"I don’t want your blood to stain the ground my children would live and grow on. But be rest assured that you shall be punished for everything you did."

Venantius nodded, "I’ll accept the punishnt you give to , whenever you’re ready. I also want to truly apologize for what I did to your father, but to prove that, I’ll want to punish the woman Deonisia myself." He remarked.

Nix turned and started walking inside, "Let’s talk about that later. Today I’m going to celebrate my children and not how to end a life. I prefer that they grow in a Kingdom free from bloodshed and betrayal."

Hieron, who had left the room to hear what his grandson would say to Venantius, nodded in agreent. "Children always co with blessings..." The older man muttered.
