[MUSIC RECOMNDATION: SAILING (0805) ~ GIRL’S GENERATION]

Lady Hash lay on her bed, tears flowing freely from her eyes. It was always the mories she hated the most that would show up right in front of her, just to tornt her when she had finally decided to move on with her life. Now the mory had a voice, and it was back to haunt her.

’Do you believe in fate?’ It was only one person who had told her those words in the past, and she ran far away from him. What was he doing in Morado?

Lady Hash held her chest tightly as if breath was being knocked out of her soul. As her mind slowly tried to rember a distant mory from her past, Lady Hash held her head.

"Please don’t...don’t rember it...if you rember, then it happened; if you don’t, it never happened." The woman cried in the late night, all alone in her room.

But it was as if her mories had a mind of their own, as a distant voice reverberated in her head.

’Help ! Help my child; he is coming for us. Please don’t let him get us.’ A woman holding a small child cried desperately, gripping a young woman’s dress.

A younger Lady Hash stared at the woman, looking at her with fear written on her own face. She didn’t know who was chasing the woman, but the woman looked terrified.

’Please, even if you won’t take , take my child. He will kill us, please.’ The woman continued pleading.

Lady Hash, who was standing close to her carriage, had only just gotten married to her husband. She turned to ask her husband, ’Do you think we should help them?’she asked innocently, but then her husband had said.

’We shouldn’t help everyone that cos to us; they might be evil people pretending to be in need. Let’s go,’ her late husband had scolded her.

But the woman didn’t let go of her grip on Lady Hash’s dress. She said, ’Just take my child, please.’

Lady Hash stared at the small child, unable to identify the gender. She reached out her hands to hold the child, but then an army of soldiers riding on horses galloped to where they were standing.

It appeared these were the people the woman was running away from. Lady Hash gripped her gown.

The man who looked like the leader jumped down from his horse and walked towards Lady Hash and her husband.

’I’m sorry if that woman had bothered you and your dear wife. Let’s go over there and discuss important things. You are dressed like rchants; are you one?’ the man’s voice echoed in Lady Hash’s mory.

’Yes, yes, I am a rchant, and I had only just married my wife. Who is that woman?’ Lady Hash’s husband asked.

Lady Hash turned to see what was happening to the woman, and just then she saw soone thrust a sword into the woman and, at the sa ti, slash the sword on the child who didn’t loosen the grip on the mother’s dress for a mont.

Lady Hash widened her eyes, opening her mouth to scream when the man held her face closer and said, ’Do you believe in fate?’

Lady Hash snapped out of her trance and got back to the present ti. She tried to scream, but nothing was coming out. It was as if she was pinned on the bed as she struggled with her breath.

The door opened, and Hieron stepped inside, rushing to her bedside. He had been worried about the woman as she was acting unusual not accepting visitors or requesting for dinner. When he tried to check on her, he heard her whimpering softly.

"It’s okay, everything is okay!"

With the warm feeling of a human, Lady Hash was able to move her body. She got up quickly and hugged Hieron as she sobbed, "I killed a woman and her child, I killed them. She cursed ; I’m a murderer and what I’m going through now is my punishnt." The woman continued to cry as she said those words.

Hieron tried to comfort her by saying, "You’re not a murderer; you’re a good person. We all know. You saved ; you have saved a lot of persons." He tried to reassure her.

Lady Hash’s body trembled as she felt sweat flow down her forehead. Finally, when her tears died down, she ca down with a serious fever that had Heiron tending to her, trying to reduce her temperature to a normal one. It was a hellish night for Lady Hash.

Outside the palace, just at the dungeon where prisoners were being held, soone dressed as one of the guards walked inside searching for a particular person.

"You’re late," Deonisia said when she saw the person’s face.

Venantius smirked, "You’re arrogantly bold, but that’s fine. What is it that you know?" He asked, not ready to spend any more ti in the dungeon.

Deonisia chuckled, "Do you not know the law of give and take? I can’t give you if I won’t take from you. Get out of here." She ordered, still sitting proudly.

Panha and Lucía, who were also in the sa dungeon, were surprised to see the supre king. Their freedom was finally here; they smiled excitedly, but their excitent flew out of the dungeon when they heard the man’s words.

"Get you out of here? You brought yourself here; why should I clean your ss?" Venantius asked nonchalantly.

Deonisia cleared her throat, "But there’s nothing you can’t do, right? You can clean my ss while I clean yours." The older woman replied.

Venantius twitched his lips, "I didn’t know we shared that type of relationship. I see you have nothing to say; I’m leaving. Enjoy your stay here." The man turned to leave when Deonisia shouted.

"Wait! Are you not worried about leaving here? Especially when I have such a secret that is your weakness and can bring your downfall." She tried to bargain, and when she saw Venantius turn, she smiled proudly.

Venantius rubbed his chin, touching his beard in the process, "You’re right; I can’t let you stay here when you know my weakness." The man remarked thoughtfully.

Deonisia nodded her head, "I knew we could see from the sa eyes."

"I should kill you and them so I don’t have anyone holding my secrets."

The words from Venantius left Deonisia gobsmacked, as she didn’t see it coming. This man was really a tough nut, and she needed to keep her pride away to get to him.

"Listen, Venantius. I won’t open my mouth to say anything; just get out of here, and your secret would stay safe with ." Deonisia begged.

Venantius scoffed, "There it is, the humble bird is back. But too late, I don’t want any more bad blood with Morado. I want to rule my kingdom peacefully." The man replied, tapping his feet on the ground.

Deonisia shook her head, "What about your child? One of those won had your child, and you didn’t know. That child is all grown now; what if soone uses your blood to bring you down? Get out of here, and I will clean up that ss."

Venantius humd, "I’m trying to believe you, but you see. Your life is full of lies, and it makes it difficult for to believe the words you say."

Deonisia shook her head, "I have soone you can ask, the rchant called Lady Hash. She saved your child."

"Did she now?" Venantius asked, intrigued because she had seen the woman earlier at the market.

"Yes! You know her so well; you used to have a close relationship with her. She saved one of your seeds from being killed. Ask her, and when you co back, I will tell you who the child is. That way, you can believe and also set free."

Venantius nodded; there was nothing for him to lose either way. So he agreed and stepped out of the dungeon.
