[MUSIC RECOMNDATION: ROUND AND ROUND ~ HIEZE]

Back at Morado, Kitanna sat on the balcony, rubbing her stomach, which was now growing healthily. She stared as the sun was setting, forming a big red ball in the sky, it was a pleasing sight to behold.

Larel walked to the balcony, joining the queen in enjoying the beautiful sunset. "How are you doing today?" she asked.

Kitanna moved her eyes away from the sun and turned to look at Larel, then she smiled. "Always doing great, just feeling heavy," she replied, glancing at the contents in the cup on a small stool placed at the side of her chair. "And scared of drinking that."

Larel stood up a little to look at the green contents inside the cup. From far, the sll coming from the cup made her face scrunch. "Is that what Misam has been mixing up for you?" she asked, and Kitanna nodded.

"How sure are you to trust her? What if she mixes sothing harmful?" Larel asked worriedly.

Kitanna shrugged her shoulder, "We have to do sothing; we can’t just accept the fate of death. Also, Nix makes sure Misam drinks the content first before I take it. Nix is taking precautions in every process of making it. I hope it really works; I want to see my children grow and also train them with Nix," she replied, rubbing her stomach mindlessly, a habit she ford as her stomach started growing.

Larel sighed. After Kitanna told her the fate won who married anyone with the blood of Zeno faced, she had been so scared until Misam promised for her release outside the prison she would do sothing to help.

"It will work, it has to. But did Misam say anything about side effects?" Larel asked.

Kitanna nodded, "Yes, she said after this ti I shouldn’t try to have any child in the future. It might affect greatly." She replied. Kitanna and Nix already agreed that they wouldn’t have any other child as long as Kitanna survived after giving birth this ti.

Larel shook her head. For a mont, she was going to feel sad when she pushed it behind her and decided to be optimistic about everything. "We will cherish the child once he cos, and there’s Labre. He won’t ever feel alone." She said in a comforting tone.

Kitanna smiled, "I’m glad you agree with that is going to be a boy. Nix keeps saying it’s a girl," the young queen remarked. When she relaxed on her chair, she pointed outside.

"What is that?"

Larel followed where Kitanna’s fingers were pointing. "Oh, that? Every night, Lord Hieron sets out a camp outside because Lady Hash says she used to enjoy it in the past. And he catches fireflies for her; I don’t know how he shows it to her." The lady shrugged her shoulder. Everyone knows that Lady Hash was blind.

Inside the tent, Lady Hash and Lord Hieron sat in the company of each other, enjoying the peaceful night together. This ritual had started for a while now, after Heiron finally convinced Lady Hash to stay in the palace for so ti.

Surprisingly, the woman had agreed, and since then, Hieron did everything to make the woman happy. Even if it ant camping outside the palace like young people in love, it didn’t matter to the man.

"I didn’t know I would et a woman like you in this lifeti. After I lost Nix’s grandmother, I thought it was the end for when it cos to affairs of the heart," Heiron praised the woman who swayed her body while enjoying the night breeze.

Lady Hash smiled, "What do you like so much about ? Because I saved you that day at the mountains? Anyone in my position could have done the sa thing," she remarked.

Hieron shook his head, "No, before then I already had my eyes on you. It was only fate that brought us together that day; I like everything about you. Especially your charisma, and the authority when you handle serious matters. Not every woman has that," the elder white Lord replied.

"Thank you for the complint, but I only beca like that after I lost my sight. In the past, I used to be a coward," Lady Hash said, her voice carrying a hint of sadness.

Hieron placed his hands on the woman’s own, "Don’t say that; I believe it has always been in you, maybe you found it just later, just the way I realized how I felt about you in the long run." The man said reassuringly.

Lady Hash smiled, feeling comforted with the words Heiron told her. "Thank you, but sothings can’t just change about us no matter how much we listen to comforting words."

"Everyone has a past, if that’s the problem. I too have my past that I’m not so proud of. But in the end we have to face it, to make our future better." Hieron replied, noticing how distant the woman’s voice now sounded, for soone who always joked from ti to ti she sounded really sad.

Lady Hash sighed, "Did I ever tell you that I was pregnant before I lost my sight?" She paused for a mont as if scared of rembering her past, then she continued.

"That night when the bandits attacked, I was already pregnant, then when I lost my sight and my husband I was devastated. I couldn’t have been able to take care of a baby in my state so I gave the child away, years passed but I couldn’t get myself to look for the child," the woman felt her heart ache when she rembered the decision she made so many years ago.

Hieron placed his hands on the woman’s own, "Like I said, we all have our ugly pasts. Actually I saw the man who killed Nix’s father that day. But in other to save my people I had to retreat, and I’ve been scared of telling Nix about it because I feel he would hate for it. All I’m praying is for the chance to right my wrong." The man confessed, then he continued.

"Our past doesn’t an the person we are now is a lie, no. It only ans we evolved and learned, and it’s a good thing." The man completed.

Lady Hash finally smiled, as a small tear dropped on her face, "I guess your past is ssier than mine. Your grandson would kill you." The woman joked.

Hieron laughed at this, "I know he would be disappointed because he always looks up to . But I’m not so great as everyone thinks."

"You’re still a good man, a good old man," Lady Hash teased, using her stick to move sothing that felt like an insect that was crawling on her leg.

Hieron nodded; now the mood was lighter. "If you ever need help in searching for your child, let know." The man offered his help.

Lady Hash inhaled, "It’s been long years; no child would accept a mother that abandoned them, not just a mother, a blind one. There’s no need," the woman remarked, relaxing her back on the chair.

"You never know if you don’t try...." Heiron’s voice trailed off in the dark.

"We should head back inside now; I’ve enjoyed enough of our camping. These insects are getting worse." Lady Hash pulled herself up, and in no ti, the camping between Lady Hash and Lord Hieron ended. And it was the last.
