Chapter 20 - Face slapping turning to literal face slap?
Xu Chyngun was on his way to one of the buildings under him in that low-cost area. He had almost forgotten that he had so property registered under his na in that low-prized area. And not in his wildest dream could he have guessed that the future Ms. Li would be residing in it.
Ever since he had gotten the news that he was fortunate enough to have future Ms. Li inhabiting one of the establishnts under his na, he had felt elated. Without wasting a second, packing a lot of expensive gifts and canceling a lot of important etings, he had made his way to that building.
"Hurry up driver Zhen. We don’t need to be late. What if Ms. Chen left already?", Xu Chyngun urged. Actually, he was getting quite nervous to et the future Ms. Li. He was deciding what careful words of flattery he should pick to make it look like he was being genuine and pleasing at the sa ti.
If he was successful in winning her favor, he could have a chance to ask for a formal business eting with Mr. Li. After all, only beauty can control an untaable beast like Li Luxian. He was getting thrilled even by the idea of it. If he could strike a eting with Mr. Li, he could earn Millions.
As he walked up the stairs, he thought the building was too shabby. How could soone like the future wife of Mr. Li be living in a lowly place like this? He needed to offer her a better place. And if she disagreed, he was going to renovate the whole building.
As he walked to her apartnt number, he saw a large crowd gathering in front of her apartnt. His heart shuddered as he silently prayed that it didn’t have sothing to do with Ms. Chen.

"Did you really have to go to such an extent?", Chen Feng said in her cold calm tune, that was devoid of any emotion. "Did I not say that I would evacuate right now?"
Xhi Yuan sneered.
"A shaless and ungrateful person gets to be treated like trash", Mr. Xhi said boldly. He didn’t take the fact well that she took down his advances.
"Shaless?", Chen Feng said with a slight tilt of her lips, "Isn’t the word better suitable for those who intend to cheat on their wives?"
A collective crowd gasp was heard. Now everyone was sure that Xhi Yuan must have said sothing immoral to Chen Feng earlier. When his intentions were said in the open, Xhi Yuan felt a rush of anger.
"Ms. Chen, You!"
At that mont a cold voice was heard that made the heart of Xhi Yuan shudder.
"What is happening here?"
"Its Xu Chyngun", soone in the crowd whispered.
Everyone in the crowd stared at the source of the voice as they expected a good show now that the owner was also here. Xu Chyngun was an important man and not everyone had a chance to have a eting with him. So his presence was a sight to behold. And the unknown reasons behind his sudden visit was even sothing more exciting to gossip about.
Xhi Yuan turned and his eyes widened with fear as they landed on Xu Chyngun. His heart jumped out of his throat as he stared at his Boss. It’s been years since Xu Chyngun visited this area. It was like he had forgotten about this petty piece of land he held.
Then why the sudden visit?
Especially at a ti like this when Xhi Yuan was doing sothing illegal and practicing the abuse of power? How could his luck be such bad!
"M-Mr. Xu you here?", Xhi Yuan said in a flattering tone. "Y-You could have inford first. I would have co to receive you personally"
"You didn’t answer my question", Xu Chyngun said in a grave tune, unaffected by his flattering, "What is happening here?"
"T-This woman here failed to pay the apartnt charges so we are forcing her to evacuate", Xhi Yuan stuttered.
Lui Chao broke in the conservation to help Xhi Yuan.
"It is true Mr. Xu. Chen Feng is also tarnishing the good na of our society by her shaless actions and openly sleeping with engaged n. So we all society mbers decided it would be best if she left the society."
Xhi Yuan had a feeling of gratitude towards Lui Chao. After resolving this issue, he decided to reward her by overlooking her apartnt charges.
Chen Feng saw Xu Chyngun looking in her direction. She wasn’t sure but she guessed that she saw shock and horror in his eyes as he stared at her as if trying to recall sothing. Xu Chyngun took a deep breath and even his hands were shaking.
Everyone was puzzled. Why did Xu Chyngun look like he had seen so sort of demon? Why was he becoming pale?
It was when, suddenly, he broke out of his stupor, raised his hand and slapped Xhi Yuan across his face.
The sharp resounding noise of slap reverberated across the hallway.
Everyone was stunned.
