Cedric was long gone but Brione could not move on from what happened between them the mont they woke up.
She held the script in her hand and cried out of nowhere, "Ahhhhhhh!"
Then she buried her face on the pillow on her lap. She felt so embarrassed that her face was burning red. She was acting like a horny teenager even though she was a grown-up woman and she hated feeling this way. She was new to the intimate activities she was experiencing with Cedric though. She did not regret the things that happened, in fact, she found herself anticipating more.
She heaved a sigh, wondering when Cedric would co back. Her shooting would begin tomorrow and it would only take three days to finish everything and wrap up. She looked at Cedric's room and wondered why she felt so empty all of a sudden.
Brione bit her lower lips as she was feeling a lot of confusing emotions. She looked at Gavin's journal that was still on the bedside table. If she was wrong and Cedric and Gavin were two different people then, the feeling she was having towards Cedric, could only an one thing...
She sighed again before she stood up from the bed to go out and get so fresh air outside. Mitch and Berry were busy checking the venue of the shooting tomorrow and making sure things were perfect so she was alone at the mont.
She saw Olivia in the hallway on her way outside and the latter greeted her as soon as Olivia noticed her presence. She was embarrassed to see Olivia because of what happened last night.
"How are you feeling now? You drank quite a lot last night," Olivia asked.
"Yeah I'm feeling good now," Brione said with a smile.
"Would you like to take a walk with ?" Olivia offered to which Brione nodded saying, "Yes sure."
They walked towards the garden and there was an awkward silence between them. No one uttered a word. Olivia sat on a chair she saw in the garden and Brione sat on the opposite chair.
Brione was waiting for Olivia to speak about what happened last night. She rembered ntioning Gavin to her last night and thought that Olivia would take this opportunity to ask her more about it.
Brione was angry at herself for being so careless but then nothing could change. She had already spilled the beans and Cedric also assured her that Olivia was soone they could trust. He even told her how Will vouched with his life that Olivia was trustworthy since Cedric could not rember any mories with Olivia.
"Just yesterday we had gloomy weather but look how bright the sun is right now. Do you think the sa thing applies to a person's character as well? Changing so easily..." Olivia suddenly asked and Brione could tell where the conversation was heading to.
"It depends on the person. If the person is soone who wants to change because that's what he/she desires, then it's possible. But if this person is changing for the sake of others then it won't last, that person will just end being miserable and suffer ntally because of it," Brione casually uttered.
"I guess you are right. I heard Cedric and Will returned to the Palace this morning. I honestly have to leave this late afternoon to go back ho and check on so things too. How long are you staying here for Brione?" Olivia asked while looking at the sky.
"Maybe four more days if everything goes well in the shoot. I will leave soon after my work here is done since I have a new movie to shoot," Brione answered.
Olivia looked at her and said, "I hope you don't mind asking this Brione. I'm not sure if you rember what happened last night, but you ntioned Gavin Wu and I happen to see his great resemblance with Cedric. You also insisted that Cedric and Gavin are the sa person to last night. I confronted Cedric last night and he told that his DNA matches his father."
Brione sighed and whispered, "I'm sorry I troubled you a lot yesterday. This morning Cedric inford that I did say things about him and Gavin to you. I don't rember what exactly I told you but I too am unsure about a lot of things. To be honest, I'm still just as confused as I was in the beginning. But it's true that my intuition is insisting that he is Gavin."
Olivia heaved a frustrated sigh as well as she said, "I am hoping you are right Brione… Hoping that there is a real Cedric who survived the ocean that night and is alive and well sowhere.
Hearing your doubts gave hope that the person I saw and t the past few days might not be the Ceric I knew because the real Cedric's heart beats only for even though he did not say it to directly. I've been with him for so long and we've been through a lot together so I still can't believe that having amnesia would make him lose all those feelings we shared together."
Brione stayed silent. She was unable to express it but Olivia's words left a sharp pain in her heart.
"Do you doubt Cedric's identity?" Brione asked instead.
"I have to say I do because he has changed a lot. He is not the Cedric he used to be when I returned. I doubted him the mont we talked to each other at the Palace when I arrived. But then I had no reason to doubt him at all… even if my heart is refusing to believe that he is the Cedric I loved all my life, I have no evidence to prove that claim.
But now, I'm not so sure, because there's a possibility that he might really not be my Cedric. But there's also a possibility that I'm doubting him only because I found out about Gavin Wu and your claim.
Do you know what's funny? Last night, I reminisced about my ti together with Cedric and in my head, I listed out all the things he should not have forgotten even if he has amnesia. I even formulated a plan to bust him and prove that he is not Cedric."
Brione frowned and asked curiously, "What do you an?"
