After leaving his father's room, Cedric went straight to his room to rest. He freshened up, lay down on his bed, and grabbed his mobile phone. He frowned after seeing that there were no missed calls or a single ssage from her.
He thought that Brione would try to contact him and nag or scold him for how he saved his na in the contact file sent to her by Manager Ruth.
"Did she save my number as it was or did she change it to sothing else?" he thought out loud. He was very curious to find out but it would be impossible to know unless he asks Brione.
"I miss her already," he whispered dreamily followed by a long sigh. He did not want her to think he was clingy so he tried his best to control himself from calling her.
Instead, he opened Brione's official insta feed to look at her since it was always updated with photos and videos of her. His face crumpled seeing the comnts posted under her latest posts. It was a few pictures of her eating dinner with Berry and Mitch. Most were n comnting things he did not like to see or hear.
With anger evident on his face, he furiously typed a comnt using the alternate account Will had created for him. Well, it would not be the first ti for him to comnt under her posts but this ti his words were more aggressive.
He was smirking proudly as he tapped the reply button and it appeared in the comnt section. Not even a minute had passed, but there were nurous replies to his comnt. A lot of them were from fans who were furious with him, telling him that he was a fraud spreading fake news.
He typed his last reply saying, "My source is very reliable, just wait and see once it's announced to the world!"
The comnts section went nuts with different opinions on what he posted but he felt like he achieved sothing after seeing that most of the male fans seed to believe him and were heartbroken.
"Hah! Serves you all right! You must know that she is mine now so don't even dream about getting her!" he scoffed. After looking at a few more pictures he put aside his mobile phone and tried to sleep.
Who would have thought that he 'The Prince' could be this petty when it ca to the woman he loved? He was still smiling with his eyes closed to sleep when his phone rang.
He moved quickly thinking it might be Brione but to his dismay, it was a call from Will.
"Yes?"
"The result is out, Your Highness. I have sent it to your private email," Will inford, from the other line. Cedric cut the call and checked the file sent to him. It was the result of the DNA test.
He sighed after he finished reading it before quickly deleting the file. It was how he expected it to be. The result showed 99% similarity which ans that King Lucas is his father.
He sighed again before mumbling, "Should I show this to her to prove that I'm not Gavin? But what if she runs away from thinking there is no reason to stay by my side anymore?"
Cedric was feeling distressed as he could not look past the fact that the only reason Brione was getting close to him was because she believed that he was Gavin.
"What are you going to do now Cedric?" he murmured in frustration.

Back in Perdu Island, Brione along with Berry and Mitch were sitting on the balcony of her room discussing the changes that should be made in her profile when Berry exclaid, "OMG! What is this?!"
Brione, who was studying a script, stopped what she was doing and stood up to look at the monitor of Berry's laptop.
"I heard that Brione Yu already has a boyfriend. For those of you doubting , the news is from a reliable source. Apparently, he is soone handso, wealthy, and of royal blood. She's already taken by soone she deserves so all of you perverts should back off." Mitch read the comnt that Berry clicked, loud and clear.
Berry guffawed and said, "The userna is so funny! 'Kiss Not'! Oh my gosh, is this the Prince's disguise to shoo away all n?"
"Stop it Berry! Don't you ever ntion this in front of the Prince or you will be dead at for spreading baseless rumors. Whether it's him or not, it's best for us to keep quiet," Mitch reminded her.
"Wow, there's absolutely no doubt it's him. No one even knows that we are in Perdu Island except for the staff in our team. Unless one of our staff mbers leaked the information there's no one else who could know about it. But since it was written in the agreent that we would have to pay a huge fine and go to jail if we break the contract, I doubt it was soone from our team.
My gut feeling, which by the way is never wrong, is telling that this user is the possessive Prince trying to build a fence around you to stop others from coveting you since you are now his woman. Oh wait, did you already sign the contract? Can you let us see it?"
Brione sighed. Yes, she had already read the agreent Manager Ruth handed her but she did not sign it as she wanted to discuss all the clauses with Cedric first.
She smiled at Berry and said, "No. I will not allow anyone to read it so don't even dare try to sneak a glance at it or else…"
"Fine, fine I won't! I promise." Berry said with a pout before leaning towards Mitch and whispering, "I bet she's shy as there might be so intimate things in the clause right?"
"I can still hear you, Berry," Brione said with a chuckle. She liked Berry a lot because she was soone who was honest and genuine to her. Berry would not hesitate to voice her opinions even if it was sothing that would not please her.
Brione liked people like Berry who would express what they felt without any inhibitions. Maybe this was why, deep inside, she was not that bothered with Cedric's shalessness.
Deep down she liked that Cedric was aggressive and straightforward with what he felt and wanted to do. He was real and she could feel his sincerity towards her. She appreciated it as long as he would not step out of his boundaries like so of her male fans or those n who had indecent intentions for her.
She could still rember how annoyed she was with Gavin who would often open his mouth like he wanted to say sothing to her but would not dare to continue and would change the topic to distract her. It frustrated her so much that she wanted to open Gavin's head and read his mind to know what he really thinks inside.
There was that great difference and yet here she was, not budging from her belief that Cedric was Gavin.
