At Gavin's Villa, Country D
Gavin and Brione headed to the airport and boarded the royal family's private plane to reach Country B as soon as possible.
Once they were seated in the plane, Brione gently squeezed Gavin's hand offering her silent support. Gavin had told her what happened and she truly felt sad for Olivia.
She rembered Olivia ntioning her brother when the two of them were drinking in Perdu Island. Olivia went on and on about how proud she was of her elder brother and ntioned how she looked up to him. She even went on to say that apart from Cedric, her brother was her most favorite man in the world.
"I'm sure father is alright," Brione reassured and rested her head on Gavin's shoulder.
"Yeah… Will said he is fine but I'm still worried. I think I have to stay longer this ti sweetheart. Father needs right now so I plan to accompany him and help him out with things." Gavin said.
"Yes, let's both stay with father this ti. I will explain everything to Uncle Damiel," Brione comnted.
Gavin's face darkened as he said, "No need to explain anything. I will handle him."
Brione turned to him feeling confused and asked, "What's wrong?"
She noticed how Gavin's aura changed at the ntion of Damiel. She also didn't miss? the gloominess in his tone.
"Father Damiel is hiding sothing. The psychiatrist he recomnded did help recover my mories about him but he is also trying to erase a part of my mory as well," Gavin inford. He had already asked Luo and Noah to look into it and sent them a video copy of the session he had with the doctor to get it analyzed by an expert.
It was a good thing that he carried the sa spyware as the one he gave to Brione. The spyware had a GPS chip that could be tracked by his n and help them record important things that might happen. The spyware contained a hidden cara disguised as couple accessories which they wore.
Brione was not expecting to hear such shocking news. She was dumbfounded to know that Uncle Damiel was trying to delete so of Gavin's mories.
"What mory is he trying to delete?" she asked, still feeling conflicted about Damiel's intentions because she never thought Damiel would do sothing like this.
"It was the day we last saw each other… I can't rember it to be honest. Later I will ask Cain to help get that mory back. I don't know the details about it either. Except for the date and that it was the last day I saw father Damiel before I left to board the ship I don't rember anything else."
"I believe that mory is the key which would connect everything," Gavin said as he breathed out deeply hoping it would sohow relieve the heaviness and burden he was feeling. Gavin knew and could feel how sincere? Damiel's feelings were towards him; however, he was acting suspiciously.
Gavin was feeling torn about how he should digest this news... He could only hope that it was nothing but a misunderstanding because he did not know what he would do if Damiel had any involvent with Duncan.
"Oh, God!! Father Damiel loves you very much Gav. I can't imagine him being involved with Father Lucas' enemies." Brione said.
"Yeah too... So I am hoping that it's nothing but a misunderstanding because right now with how things are, I can't help but suspect him and it's tearing apart," Gavin honestly stated.
Brione kissed the back of his hand and whispered, "Let's hope that it's only a misunderstanding."
"Yeah, I'm sorry that I had to drag you along like this sweetheart. I'm sure you were excited to go back to work," Gavin apologetically said. Brione had signed a new drama series which she was excited to work on and he did not want her to cancel her work just for him.
"It's alright darling. The shooting will start next week so I can stay with you till then.? I only had a few events to attend and so comrcial shoots on my schedule. I'm sure Mitch will take good care of it and reschedule my shooting so don't worry okay?" Brione said with a grin.
Brione actually insisted on getting another manager as she knew that Mitch would get very busy especially now that Gavin was not around. She had also asked for another stylist and PA to replace Berry. Her two friends would play a vital role now in helping her husband run the business instead so she figured she would need new people around her.
"Besides, you're the most important person in my life. You are my topmost priority darling Even above my work and I will choose you first no matter what!" she declared with the sweetest smile, making Gavin blush.
"How co you're getting bolder with your words sweetheart?" Gavin teased after overcoming his shyness.
Brione chuckled and said, "It's because I'm so in love with my husband now that my mouth only speaks what my heart is full of!"
Gavin shook his head feeling helpless and said, "If I didn't know you well enough I would think that you are trying to woo often sweetheart."
"Isn't it a good thing? Expressing myself without hesitation unlike before when we used to hide how we felt?"
"You're right, both of us were not expressing our feelings in fear of ruining our friendship," Gavin said to which Brione nodded.
Gavin suddenly fell quiet as though he was in deep thought and Brione who was feeling bored started playing with his hand and even traced words like 'I love you'.
Gavin chuckled and comnted, "Sweetheart, you playing with my palm like this is supposed to tickle right? Why do I feel so aroused instead?"
Brione laughed and said, "Isn't it because you're a pervert?"
Gavin narrowed his eyes at her as he defended, "Last ti I checked it was because of you who was so playful while we were driving that I had to stop the car on the side of the road and do it inside the car and…"
Brione quickly covered Gavin's mouth with her hand and retorted, "Ah it was because I was completely drunk at that ti so don't you dare tease !"
Gavin laughed out loud and Brione also smiled. Seeing Gavin laugh so freely despite the things that were happening was a blessing to her eyes! She wanted to make Gavin laugh and smile often. She feels a sense of achievent when he laughs because of her.
She was feeling so happy and content that she stood up from her seat, boldly sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. She looked at his eyes for a few seconds before leaning forward to give him a very passionate and loving kiss.
