Yes, Brione thought so too how lucky she was to have Gavin in her life, safe and sound. She was the luckiest woman on earth at that mont but sohow, with how he had been acting lately, she couldn't help but be worried about Gavin for so reason.
"I just hope his mories will return soon. Gavin is having so sleepless nights lately. I'm worried. He said that he's fine since?it's just so random nightmares but I can't help but think that there is sothing he is keeping from …" Brione felt compelled to tell Luo about it.
could feel sothing was wrong because there were nights where Gavin would just suddenly shut himself in a closed room. Like in his private den in the forest at country B, Gavin also had a private room in their villa that she was not aware of before if not for the fact that she caught him redhanded there the other night.
He had told her that it was his own private space. He assured her that she had nothing to worry about but she was actually waiting for him to tell her about it. Despite that, he remained silent so she was a bit anxious.
"Hmm, just wait for him. I'm sure it's just so guy stuff that's why he wanted you not to worry about it. I'm sure he will tell you soon. Just trust him for now," Luo reassured with a smile.
"Yeah, I know… It's just that sotis… I feel like he is keeping sothing important that I can't help but be curious about." Brione whispered with a pout.
Luo elbowed Brione and teased, "You're Brione Yu. The Goddess! I'm sure you have all the ans in the world to find out whatever it is you want to know about your husband. Do you want to teach you so tricks, huh?"
Brione's face reddened. She really liked how brazen her sister-in-law was and yes, she would love to learn from her since she knew that her sister-in-law was the best seeing how she managed to hold her brother under her small palm at all tis!
The two won giggled in their own playful thoughts. A while later, they soon finished preparing the table for dinner.
The dinner went well. Everyone had so good conversations over dinner before they proceeded to the living room to continue chatting while Gavin was busy playing with Calvin and the toy he bought for him.
While they were playing, Calvin ended up falling asleep on Gavin's lap.
"Such a cutie," Gavin whispered as he brushed the strands of hair on Calvin's forehead.
"Let get that kiddo and put him to sleep," Luo said with a smile before he carried her son back to his room.
"Big brother, are you hoping for a baby girl this ti?" Brione asked her brother Noah as she sipped on her wine.
"Yeah, that will be nice but honestly it doesn't matter what gender as long as our second baby is very healthy…" Noah answered.
Brione smiled and dreamily said, "I hope this ti it's a cute little girl. I thought of a good na for a baby girl. You should na her Clara!"
Noah laughed and replied, "I will tell Luo about it. I'm sure she will love that na for a baby girl. Calvin and Clara have good rhys!"
Noah then squinted his eyes to his sister and teased, "How about you two? Are you ready to beco parents? I bet Gavin is very excited about it. I can see how he likes kids like Calvin."
"We are always ready but given the matters at hand, I don't think it's the right ti to have one for now… To be honest I don't think it's a good idea especially when we still have so criminals on the loose. I'm just worried about Brione's safety but of course, I will make sure she's always safe so having a baby is okay if we're blessed to have one earlier," Gavin comnted.
"Yeah, that's true. I agree that it's not yet safe for Brione to get pregnant at this ti. But we are now tailing that criminal, Gavin. I wanted to discuss this matter with you as well tonight. There is so good progress and we… Luo and I are hoping we can solve this matter imdiately." Noah inford.
"It's Luo and her n who managed to track all his whereabouts. That Duncan is really good at hiding himself but I'm confident Luo is on the right track on this." Noah added as he showed so progress on the reports to Brione and Gavin.
"Is it safe bro? I an, sister-in-law is pregnant but she's still involving herself in matters like this," Brione could not help but voice out her concern. She honestly admired the dedication of her sister-in-law in handling the case. She was leading the case herself that their voice of objection did not matter to her.
"Ah, it's safe since I'm not doing things on the field, my dear. I just usually give instructions to my n. It's more like I'm the head so they do everything I want them to do." Luo who returned and heard Brione explained how she did it.
"I'm honestly anticipating things already. I can feel that I'm almost there. He can hide and run but I'm confident in tracking him down soon. It will be my greatest gift to you both if I finish off that Duncan. It's a good thing that Zach and I are the ones handling these matters rather than involving the royal family that can alarm the man. He is not expecting this kind of blow from us!" Luo confidently stated.
"Father Damiel… I can feel he is hiding sothing from …" Gavin whispered.
"Yeah, for now, we should lie low so that he won't suspect us. Just ask like a normal son as you are used to. We are also investigating him secretly like you requested," Luo inford and Gavin nodded. Brione watched them discuss the important matters and as she did, she unconsciously yawned.
Luo laughed and said, "You two should leave already and rest. We can continue discussing things at Keira's house. Let's crash at her place next…"
Gavin chuckled before he soon bid their leave with his wife.
