Chapter 666: What Happened to Her?
Zuo Weiyi ca back to her senses and looked up at Nuannuan. “I’m fine.”
Shi Nuannuan could not help but pause. “But, you don’t look too well.”
Zuo Weiyi subconsciously raised her hand to touch her face. “I had a nightmare.”
So it was a dream.
Shi Nuannuan nodded. “Oh...”
Thinking that she might have been frightened by the nightmare, Shi Nuannuan did not think too much about it.
However, for the next hour or so, as soon as Zuo Weiyi closed her eyes, her mind was filled with that dream again.
She did not understand. Why would she keep having the sa dream?
In her 22 years of life, she had never had a dream happene again in exactly the sa way.
Shi Nuannuan watched her toss and turn for the next hour as she sat next to her. She could not help but feel worried.
“Sister-in-Law, what... is wrong with you?”
Finally, Zuo Weiyi sat up looking a little tired.
“I don’t know why, but I keep having the sa dream.”
“What dream?” Shi Nuannuan asked.
“There’s soone who wants to kill and the child in my stomach, but I can’t see his face clearly...”
The dream had repeated so many tis, but she still couldn’t see the person’s face clearly.
Listening to her words, Shi Nuannuan started thinking.
Perhaps after the incident with Xiao Cui, she had thought too much, which led to her dreaming about it day and night?
“Sister-in-Law, are you so worried to the point of having the recurring dream?”
Zuo Weiyi said to Nuannuan calmly, “At first, I thought that it was because I was thinking too much. However... I didn’t think about it when I was going to sleep just now. Furthermore...” she looked at Nuannuan, “even if I did, why would it be the sa one?”
Shi Nuannuan paused and pursed her lips. She did not know how to explain this.
So, for the entire afternoon, even though Zuo Weiyi wanted to sleep, that nightmare did not let her be.
She was a little worried. If this happened again at night, what would she do?
At five o’clock, the phone in the living room suddenly rang.
Shi Nuannuan picked it up and realized that it was her mother calling. She said that she wanted them to go to Shi Mansion for dinner.
It was 5:40 P.M. by the ti they arrived at Shi Mansion, escorted by Xiangyi. Zuo Yi was also invited over.
The few of them just had a chat for a while in the living room when Shi Yuting arrived as well.
After dinner, it was already 9:00 P.M. as they made their way back to the seaside villa.
Zuo Weiyi was really sleepy, so she leaned against the passenger seat and fell asleep unknowingly.
There were still twenty minutes left until they reached. In order to make her sleep a little longer, Shi Yuting stopped the car by the roadside and lowered her seat a little.
When they arrived at the seaside villa, Shi Yuting got out of the car and carried her to the bedroom. Just as he was going up to the second floor with her, he realized that sothing was wrong with her body again.
He stopped and saw that cold sweat was starting to flow from her forehead and her brows were tightly knitted together. It was exactly the sa as what happened last night.
Was she having another nightmare?
Shi Yuting’s heart tightened when he thought about her dream. He rushed into the room and placed her on the bed before desperately trying to wake her up.
“Weiyi!”
“Don’t... don’t kill my child...”
“Weiyi?!” He raised his voice and finally woke her up.
Zuo Weiyi suddenly opened her eyes, looking just as frightened as the night before.
