Changes in international affairs did not affect the Kingdom’s plans. The conscription was issued imdiately, and the previously anxious Servant Army Camp suddenly beca bustling.

To stay alive, they chose to betray the Orc Empire and run to serve the Alpha Kingdom like dogs. To prove their loyalty, they even ruthlessly killed their forr comrades.

Every Servant army has its own impressive war achievents. Everyone’s status and position were built upon countless Orc corpses.

They thought that after pacifying the great grassland, better days would co.

The most pessimistic prediction beforehand was rely that the Alpha people would drive them to continue eliminating the remnants of the Orc Empire. Moreover, such a situation couldn’t last because the Alpha Kingdom couldn’t sustain long-term warfare expenses.

Nobody expected that a decree would soon throw them into battle on the Central Continent. With the main battlefield of the continental war, it’s obvious how fierce the fighting would be.

What’s most critical is that leaving the familiar grasslands ant they lost all advantages. Aside from being cannon fodder, there were no other choices.

...

Pigg’s habitations.

Glaem once again politely declined a neighbor’s invitation.

In the Orc Empire, where hierarchy was rigid, a weak race like the Pigg had no political say. Such secretive etings often wouldn’t even inform them.

Being invited again and again was a recognition of the status Glaem had earned with the Pigg Army on the battlefield.

On the Alpha Kingdom Army’s achievent list, Glaem’s Pigg Army started out as number one, and even by the end of the war, they ranked seventh, shattering all Orci perceptions.

Initially, only weaker species had co over; everyone was just pecking rookies, and it was acceptable that the Pigg’s advantage in numbers dominated the list.

By the later stages of the war, things were entirely different. Almost all Orc species had joined the Servant army, and the achievent list was dominated by strong combat races.

Nestled between these, the Pigg Clan quickly beca the most eye-catching cub, earning a newfound respect from all Orcs.

An elevation in status was one thing, but forming alliances among clans, Glaem genuinely didn’t want to participate and didn’t dare to.

Having betrayed once, who’s to say a second wouldn’t occur? In his view, forming alliances to strive for Alpha Kingdom’s rights was just a quicker death sentence.

Frankly speaking, he also hadn’t anticipated the Alpha people to change faces so swiftly.

Initially, Glaem estimated that after joining the Alpha Kingdom, they would enjoy at least a hundred years of peace.

After all, the Alpha Kingdom possessed vast unowned lands at that ti, with sufficient resources to settle them.

Moreover, the nobles of the Human race valued their reputation; without conflicts of interest, they generally wouldn’t renege on promises.

If faces change, then it would be after they had exploited the great grasslands.

Strategic misjudgnt left Glaem equally frustrated. But rationality told him that his family had no leverage to turn against the Alpha Kingdom.

The Orc Empire itself wasn’t a match for the enemy; even if all Servant armies banded together, they couldn’t cause stormy waves.

Moreover, the Alpha Kingdom to conscription also adopted differentiated treatnt. Those who joined early were generally favored, and the later joiners bore the brunt.

For instance, under Glaem’s command, the Pigg Army only needed to provide two legions, a quarter of his forces.

anwhile, so strong tribes that joined the Servant army later suffered tragically.

So races were summoned in numbers exceeding their total force, requiring them to even pull young and strong mbers from their clans to fill the gaps.

This discriminatory result directly led to divisions within the Servant army.

The weak species who defected first were used to being oppressed within the Orc Empire and felt nothing at all.

The ones genuinely unable to bear it were the stronger tribes who hadn’t faced much hardship in the Orc Empire and defected later.

Unlike other Orcs, Glaem saw through the real purpose of the Alpha Kingdom’s conscription at a glance.

Precisely because he knew, he dared not cause a stir.

In the Alpha people’s eyes, the Servant army was an unstable factor.

The disparity in power was significant, and no matter what ans were used, they had no chance of winning.

Refraining from directly raising the butcher’s knife, besides making use of waste, demonstrated the Alpha Kingdom’s regard for its reputation, hesitating to indulge in outright treachery.

With the experience accumulated in the Orc Empire, Glaem understood very well.

The more in such tis, the more one must demonstrate loyalty.

Great nations need to exhibit magnanimity, and the Alpha Kingdom couldn’t possibly slaughter all surrendering Orcs, now it’s rely clearing hidden dangers.

After a mont’s hesitation, a letter of betrayal was completed under his pen, only to be crumbled into fragnts by his hand.

Stupid Pigg shouldn’t have learned human writing so quickly.

Being well-versed in human history, Glaem knew very well that to survive, one must show one’s worth while hiding crucial information.

The Pigg identity made it unnecessary for him to be cunning, as no matter how good a plan was, unless he executed it himself, his dim-witted teammates would instinctively ruin it.

"Tal, imdiately report to the Kingdom’s Army that the Bimon Tribe is scheming in secret!"

Glaem ordered expressionlessly.

He felt no ripples of emotion in betraying the Bimon Tribe.

In tis of famine, they often sent Piggs to the barbecue, and once he himself almost ended up as food.
