Chapter 1595: Chapter 66, Against the Current_2
A series of docunts were gathered, infinitely elevating the strength of the Southeastern Province Noble Alliance Army, giving Marquis Simon the impression:
“Southeastern Province Noble Alliance Army’s military strength > Giant Centipede Army”!
Knowing it was a misunderstanding, Hudson couldn’t be bothered to explain. As long as it could boost the morale of the army, the truth didn’t matter.
Morale is a mysterious thing; thinking about it might just make it real at so point.
At least when leading a ragtag group on an expedition back then, Hudson never imagined the boasts he made would eventually co true.
The current situation is the sa; the Black Forest People have confidence in the Southeastern Province Noble Alliance Army, and the coalition forces’ officers and soldiers have confidence in him as their Commander in Chief.
It seems the only one walking on thin ice throughout the army is he himself, the Commander in Chief.
Perhaps everyone’s confidence was too abundant; after orders were issued, the reorganization proceeded very smoothly.
Upon learning the distinction between the vanguard and the rear guard, a group of Black Forest Nobles eagerly rushed into the vanguard.
If their subordinate army lacked combat power, they would throw the serf soldiers into the rear guard, leading their elite private armies to join the vanguard.
Looking at the battle request reports, Marquis Simon, who was initially worried about morale, discovered for the first ti that the kingdom’s nobles were also so warlike.
…
Bofeil Province.
“Respected Lord Luciel, I represent the Demonic Crocodile Clan in welcoming your arrival!
The nobles’ long-standing help to us is rembered by the Demonic Crocodile Clan at all tis. It is truly an honor for us that you are visiting personally!
…”
A string of flattering words ca from the mouth of the rough Demonic Crocodile King, without a hint of incongruity.
For the Demonic Crocodile King to lower his stance so much, re Sanctuary power was evidently insufficient; more so, it stemd from the Sto ne People Race behind Lord Luciel.
Compared to the unfortunate Giant Centipede which slamd into a wall upon its appearance, the Demonic Crocodile Clan was undoubtedly lucky.
Shortly after clashing with the Black Forest Kingdom, they connected with the Stone People Race. The transferred dwarf equipnt, through trade between the two races, flowed into the hands of the Demonic Crocodile Clan.
The current weaponry and equipnt the Human Race possesses, the Demonic Crocodile Clan not only has but even of better quality.
Apart from weapons and equipnt, various strategic resources also poured in continuously.
Thanks to the support of the Alien Coalition, the Demonic Crocodile Clan successfully occupied most regions of Bofeil Province and Parma Province, making it one of the better-offs among the Earth Core races.
Victory did not blind the Demonic Crocodile King’s eyes; he was very aware of the enormous disparity in strength between his own and the Human Race.
After achieving initial victories, they did not blindly expand territories but instead chose a steady approach.
On one hand, consolidating the fruits of victory; on the other, diligently engaging in diplomatic persuasion with the Stone People Race, hoping they would join the war.
It wasn’t just the Demonic Crocodile Clan; all Earth Core races capable of keeping rationality now wanted to drag the Alien Coalition into the fray.
After all, compared to the Human Race, a colossal entity, relying solely on the Earth Core races provided a truly slim hope of victory.
Furthermore, the Earth Core races were not a monolith, with so invading the Human Race while others provoked the Alien Coalition.
This was determined by the location of the Earth Core Passage!
They compete for living space with whoever the master above is.
The Demonic Crocodile Clan engaged with the Alien Coalition, just as so Earth Core races mixed with the Human Race; the current continent situation was a chaotic lee.
Due to the interference of the Elf Race, the number of Earth Core Passages appearing in the Human Race’s territory was significantly higher, leading to more invasions by Earth Core races.
Each race had its own stance, dreaming of uniting everybody was purely delusional.
However, there was one thing the Earth Core races agreed upon: they wished the Alien Coalition would go to war with the Human Race.
Only when the two grand camps are at war would these races stuck in the crevices possibly take root in the surface world.
For the future of the species, the flexible Demonic Crocodile King decisively chose to lower his posture.
“Your Majesty, you overpraise!
Our two races are friends and naturally should help each other.
The evil Human Race occupying the continent and enslaving various races is our common enemy.
Only when all righteous people of the continent unite can we overthrow the evil rule of the Human Race and bring peace back to all races of the continent!
…”
Lord Luciel responded with a cheerful smile.
His political stance was very clear, but the content was a heap of seemingly correct nonsense, shirking any commitnt to participate in the war.
As a Sanctuary powerhouse, such diplomatic duties originally had nothing to do with him.
He took on this task primarily because the Demonic Crocodile Clan had sothing he wanted.
If he didn’t need sothing, he wouldn’t have the ti for such courteous empty talk.
“Did the Respected One co here in person because the noble Stone People Race intends to send troops to overturn the evil rule of the Human Race with us?”
The Demonic Crocodile King asked expectantly.
If they couldn’t drag the entire Alien Coalition into the fray, dragging the Stone People Race onto the battlefield would be a good alternative.
War, once started, becos uncontrollable.
With a good beginning, dragging race after race until the entire Alien Coalition is involved is only a matter of ti.
“Your Majesty, it’s not ti for us to join the war yet; when the ti is right, we will naturally join.
This ti, I’m here mainly because the noble race is about to face a great calamity.
A slight mistake could lead to the calamity of extermination!”
Luciel’s answer startled the Demonic Crocodile King. Starting with the calamity of extermination, how could things play out?
