The event announcent caused an uproar throughout the sideland.

Warfare Event: Conquest of Sideland.

This was not the first ti it happened.

The last ti it happened was twenty years ago, when one Kingdom unified this sideland and then left for the mainland.

Now two decades later, the event has been triggered again.

And the main factor in triggering it was none other than Vesh himself, as well as the Mugen Beast Kingdom’s Harven.

Both new kingdoms were rising fast, and the power balance was tipping quickly, causing the warfare event to trigger.

Now, each Kingdom had ten days to brace for a war that would engulf the sideland.

But Vesh still had plans.

The next two days, he accomplished so objectives.

Ten thousand builders of Rising Light City left for Aurora Kingdom in construction suits to transform its territory, reinforcing and empowering it. These people would also serve as an example for Aurora Kingdom’s people to work and incorporate in the new way of life because construction jobs would be opened forever with the speed at which Ananta Kingdom was expanding. The ground beneath the mountain and the surroundings of Aurora Kingdom had rich B-rank energy, so Vesh constructed the Ascension Vein of Heaven and Earth, which was a variation of Ascension Storm. This provided B-rank energy to power up the new infrastructure of the Aurora Kingdom. Two new departnts opened: Arsenal Craft Departnt and Alchemy Departnt.

— Arsenal Craft Departnt was the place where people studied the new way to craft items that Vesh had invented. The material would be Nanites that could transform based on adjusting their attributes. There would also be experints to create new materials using Refined Magic Energy and elental aspects, which only S-rank or higher mastery in an elent could provide, as they could manipulate elents to their depths.

— The Alchemy Departnt would naturally concoct and brew pills and potions, and would also study and grow various plants by combining Refined Magic Energy with elental aspects like the Arsenal Craft Departnt.

Regarding the Alchemy Departnt, Vesh made the first plant himself to specifically cure the strange illness of the people whom he had welcod in his territory.

This completed the side-quest, and he acquired the talent stone of Alchemy.

He put this talent stone as a reward for the combat tournant that would be held tomorrow.

The entry requirent was only one—that person had to be a part of the Alchemy Departnt, and if not, then they must beco a mber.

The establishnt of the Ananta Executive Order was completed with a pyramid position structure.

— In the top was the Executive Director.

— Below the director were Executive Commanders, and each commander could recruit up to five Executive Agents. But all recruited agents must go through a personal screening by the Executive Director.

On the third day since the Warfare Event announcent, a eting was announced for the Ananta Executive Order.

High up in the sky, on the floating island’s central palace, couches were lined up in front of another couch.

Vesh was seated there, in his signature full-body suit, waiting for the mbers to arrive.

He was a Sprout-rank lifeform, and he must not let anyone know that. The mystery surrounding him must remain while showing himself as an absolute powerhouse. Those who already knew had 100% loyalty towards him. And the way to test the loyalty was simply using King’s Rule on a person. If it worked, then that person was 100% loyal.

So today, he was going to test the mbers.

Soon, the mbers began entering.

Kayan arrived first, followed by two hunks that he had recruited.

The first line of couches was for the Executive Commanders.

Behind the couches were tables and chairs for the Executive Agents.

Shortly, King Aurora—real na Vinz Aurora, and White-beard Muran arrived. Both of them were Executive Commanders.

Vinz had five people behind him, and White-beard Muran had four.

Scarlet the Witch and Librarian Mirina entered alongside Rovina.

All three were Executive Commanders.

Rovina had zero mbers behind her as she hadn’t recruited anyone.

Scarlet and Librarian Mirina both had their followers and subordinates in Aurora Kingdom, so they picked the best and sincerest of them as their Executive Agents.

Scarlet had three people, and Mirina had four. All of them at Root-rank.

Lastly, Duke Artilon, Arga, and Yeolodan entered with four people each.

After all of them sat down and silence was regained for five seconds, Vesh opened his mouth, his eyes glinting with the arcane of King’s Rule.

"First, I am going to allocate a mysterious resource, so raise your right hand."

In the whole crowd, only two people raised their hands.

Confusion. The others did try to raise their hands, but it didn’t work.

Because using King’s Rule, he had commanded those loyal to the Ananta Kingdom not to raise their right hand when he told them to do that.

That ans those who raised their hands were not loyal.

Everyone was confused.

King Aurora looked behind and saw one person among his agents raising his hand. ’What?’

And then, the other one was in Yeolodan’s group.

Vesh’s eyes first went to the one recruited by Yeolodan.

’Interesting.’

"Unfortunately for you, I can see through you."

The person was slim, around six feet, and possessed a bland face.

He wore a simple black mage’s robe and held a wooden staff.

Hearing Vesh’s words, the man’s eyes squinted, and dread surfaced within them.

’Plan failed...’

’What exactly happened?’ Why didn’t the others raise their hands?’

’I have to escape.’

His body suddenly vanished, collapsing into shadows, but shortly, a painful scream rang as he resurfaced in human form while his body flickered with black lightning tendrils.

’Wh-What?! T-This is a skin-tight barrier...electrifying constantly?!’

’Shadows can’t cross lightning? No, this is shadow lightning?! What the fuck?’

Vesh increased the voltage enough that the man’s brain gave out, and he fainted.

Not dead yet.

But Vesh began extracting his mories.

Soon, his eyebrows raised in surprise.

"That’s the branch leader of the Great Tenebrous Cult that we destroyed."

Yeolodan scratched his head. "This guy looked strong, so I recruited him."

"No worries. You may recruit whoever you want. Whether they survive past my screening is another matter." Vesh carefreeely said as he waved his hand.

"Now then, let’s see what the deal is with you." Vesh looked at the person recruited by Vinz Aurora.

"May I?"

The blue-haired prince in assassin’s garb stood up. Peak Root-rank. The only possessor of an SS-rank talent aside from Muran.

Vesh blinked. "Sure."

"He is a spy from Howling Star Kingdom. Aside from him, there’s one spy from Asterisk Dynasty as well."

He looked at the woman next to him.

"Synthia? Really?" Vinz Aurora was startled.

"I..." Synthia stood up.

Vesh rubbed his helt’s chin. "That’s interesting. Despite being a spy, you have full loyalty to the Ananta Kingdom?"

As if acquiring the rope to climb, Synthia’s eyes lit up, and she nodded. "Yes, my lord!"

"After seeing everything, I want nothing more than to have Asterisk Dynasty follow the steps of Aurora Kingdom."

"..."

"Hahaha, well said." Arga laughed.

"That’s wise of you." Rovina nodded.

Vinz Aurora wryly smiled.

But he also realised sothing.

The hand rising thing was scary.

’Shadow Lord Eka seems to be unfathomably powerful. What exactly was that trick? I couldn’t raise my hand, but it wasn’t like he used magic on to force my hand down.’ Vinz Aurora wondered, feeling confusion and awe both.

Not just him, but Scarlet, Mirina, Muran, and Duke also arrived at the sa conclusion.

Whatever Shadow Lord Eka did just tested their loyalty sohow, evidently by the question he posed to Synthia.
