Chapter 930: Chapter 918: The Disdain of Star Civilization

Soon, a distorted tal object about three ters in diater, emitting an unpleasant black smoke, was placed in front of Muria. At the center of this twisted tal object, there was a through-hole that went from front to back.

“What is this thing?” A curious Yikong person stepped forward and tapped the huge tal object with the wooden spear in his hand, making a “clang clang” sound of tal collision.

“What kind of ghost thing is this? The sll it emits after being killed is so unpleasant!”

“As expected of Lord Wuer! We didn’t see anything just now, but you managed to bring down this monster in an instant!”

“It’s really strange, this monster’s body has been pierced through, but why isn’t there any blood coming out?”

“The body of the monster is so hard!” After hitting it with a wooden spear, a Yikong person tried to stab the tal object with all his might. However, after a forceful strike, his wooden spear, intended for one-ti throwing, imdiately broke, and on the distorted tal, there was only a shallow dent left.

“Everyone back off, don’t go slling the black smoke coming from this thing, it’s poisonous!” Seeing that the Yikong people were continuously curious to inspect the object with obvious artificial traces, Muria frowned and issued a warning.

When Muria, who had gained trendous prestige through nurous dueling victories, spoke up, the Yikong people who had gathered around out of curiosity also backed away, leaving a huge empty circle.

“Wuer, do you know what this monster is?” That mont, a Yikong person asked with doubt, and the only one who could call Muria by his first na at this ti was naturally his father.

“This is not a monster; it’s not a living creature at all! I did not feel any life essence that belongs to a living being on it!”

Although Muria recognized at a glance that this object was definitely created by so star civilization, his current identity was that of a native Yikong person.

He had no reason to be able to identify this object’s identity outright. His current formidable strength could be explained by his talent, but this extensive knowledge couldn’t be explained by any talent—it wasn’t that the civilization of the Yikong people had stalled because they had an issue with their intelligence; it was due to the environnt around them.

If he directly pointed out the true identity of this object, wouldn’t that be asking for trouble? So at this ti, he could only feign ignorance, relying on the knowledge of a normal Yikong person to analyze.

“Not a living being?” Hearing what Muria said, the surrounding Yikong people were dumbfounded. Such a conclusion had already exceeded the range of their common sense, starting to shake their belief systems.

“That’s right, it is definitely not a living creature!” Muria asserted confidently, “It lacks the blood essence of a normal life form. After I destroyed it, it didn’t bleed, nor did it have internal organs, which serves as proof.”

“Since it’s not a living being, then what else could it be? This thing could fly, and just now it evaded the detection of all of us, with only you, Lord Wuer, detecting it.”

“This is…” Muria hopped off of Black ow, walked over to the detector he had destroyed, walked around it a few tis for show, then concluded, “a kind of man-made object! Sothing similar to our long bows and spears.”

“A man-made object?” Hearing Muria’s words, these Yikong people were completely stunned, then looked at each other with expressions of life uncertainty. If not for Muria’s strong power, so Yikong people would have started questioning him by now.

“How could such a thing be man-made?” Other Yikong people might refrain from voicing their skepticism because of Muria’s power, but his father, Batu, directly expressed his doubts.

He knew his son was exceptionally powerful and extraordinary from birth, but that didn’t an he believed everything his son said, nor would he blindly follow him without question.

“There are very obvious artificial traces on this!” Muria patiently explained to his father and to the Yikong people who were willing to follow him.

He had to find a way to let his fellow tribesn know that beyond their world, in the endless void, there was a civilization with technology that could crush theirs, now peeking at them with ill intentions.

“Look at these, and these too, they are obviously mass-produced items!” Muria pulled out a bunch of electronic components from the main body of the detector he had penetrated, “Have you ever seen any creature whose body would produce such things?”

“But isn’t this too complex? Which Yikong person could make such a thing?” Batu scratched his head and asked Muria.

He truly did not think these intricately-made objects could be crafted by other Yikong people, to belong in the sa category as his own long bows and spears. The gap was just too big!

“Who said it absolutely had to be made by Yikong people? Maybe it was made by intelligent creatures who are as clever as us Yikong people but possess much stronger technology?”

Muria suggested the true origin of this object in a hypothetical manner, but as he spoke these words, the whole place went silent. Obviously, the worldviews of these Yikong people had been shattered by his few sentences.

“That’s impossible!”

“How could there be creatures that are the sa as us, the Yi Kong People, or even similar?”

“I think this thing is just a special kind of creature; it can’t possibly be made by other intelligent creatures!”

These Yi Kong People all debated fervently, and it was clear that almost no one believed what Muria had said, even though he was the most powerful.

“I know you don’t believe , but it doesn’t matter; whether my guess is right or wrong, ti will prove everything. Since this thing has already appeared in our Aya Lei Forest, it could very well appear a second or third ti. When that happens, it will naturally prove whether I’m right or wrong,” said Muria, with a touch of a headache, before putting an end to the debate that was destined to be fruitless. He had no expectation that the wreckage of a detector, along with a few words, could convince a group of primitives to accept the reality of an extraterrestrial civilization.

“Let’s move on!” Muria mounted again, riding on the neck of Black ow, now filled with a sense of urgency.

“Then, Lord Ule, what should we do with this thing?” so Yi Kong People ca up to ask about how to deal with the detector wreckage on the ground.

“Take it with us!” Muria glanced at the heap of scrap tal. The outer tal shell of the detector was of good quality. It was a pity, though, that the Yi Kong People didn’t have the technology to lt and cast it into weapons. It was difficult to put it to use.

While Muria continued his challenging journey with his followers, in the Blue World beyond the Yi Kong Human World, where the distance across the Void had been suddenly shortened, in a completely enclosed room, a secret eting had officially begun.

One after another, three-dinsional holograms appeared beside a huge pure white tallic conference table. They were humanoid creatures with dignified and solemn expressions, looking very much like humans, wielding imnse gravitas and authority as long-sitting high officials.

“Ladies and gentlen, first I have so good news to announce. Ten days ago, we successfully sent one hundred eighty detectors through the wormhole that appeared above our Blue Planet. We’ve discovered a brand-new world teeming with life,” said one of them.

“Stop beating around the bush, those detectors must have gone inside the New World, right? Just tell us the results of the detection,” a rather impatient, corpulent man said; his ti was precious.

“Councilor Simon, please be patient. Indeed, after discovering an entirely new world, one hundred eighty detectors were all sent to that world, but for unknown reasons, one hundred seventy-two detectors crashed in the atmosphere. Only eight detectors managed to enter the world safely.”

“What are the results?” asked a blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman with a capable air.

“The results could be said to be very good or very bad.”

“Weston Kershi, if you wish to remain in your position, then you better stop playing coy in your next few words!”

“All right, Chairman Nolin. The good part is that the detectors discovered very high concentrations of energy particles in the world’s atmosphere. If we’re not mistaken, this world could possess extrely abundant energy deposits, capable of resolving our world’s energy crisis. The bad news, however, is that the level of danger in the New World may exceed everyone’s expectation here!”

“How dangerous is the New World?” one of the mbers asked with interest. “Has a civilization as advanced as ours developed in the New World?”

“That’s not the case. In the New World, we found traces of intelligent races, but their civilization is still at a very primitive stage. However, our detectors found that they possess powerful extraordinary powers. Furthermore, due to the extrely high concentration of energy, many powerful extraordinary beasts have erged in the New World.”

“Hold on, are you saying the danger you’re referring to involves the primitives of that world and so rather large beasts?” one of the mbers interrupted him.

“If that’s how you choose to understand it, then you’re not wrong,” Weston Kershi responded, sowhat reluctantly. No sooner had he finished speaking than a burst of laughter erupted in the eting room.

“Are you still joking with us?”

“I am not joking, honorable council mbers, ladies, and gentlen. All eight detectors that entered the world have been destroyed. There wasn’t a single one that lasted more than an hour safely in the world. Now, I will show you the footage transmitted back before they were destroyed. I hope that afterwards, you can still laugh as optimistically as you do now.”

“Go ahead, I want to see what level of danger a few primitives and beasts could possibly pose!”
