Chapter 89: Chapter 87: The Tragic Evil God

“I see.” Muria let out a long sigh. From his beliefs in his previous life, coupled with the influence of the Golden Dragon lineage, he simply couldn’t accept the act of destroying a world just to beco stronger.

But according to the chanism Emperor’s depiction, within the endless void, many epics existed that chose to beco a world-destroying Evil God in order to beco stronger, using the despair and cries of all the creatures in one world as embellishnts on their path to epic status.

“Muria, do you now understand what it takes to beco an epic?” asked chanism Emperor Osiris with a smile, seeing Muria sigh in relief.

“I understand.” Muria nodded his head.

“So, between the Path of Godhood and the Path to Epic, which do you choose?”

“Emperor chanism, I am only Gold Rank at the mont. Isn’t it a bit too early to make a choice?” Muria, rubbing his smooth upper lip, replied with a forced laugh.

“Given your bloodline, you’re destined to beco a legend. I am simply asking you a few hundred years earlier.”

“I choose…” Just as Muria was about to make his decision, chanism Emperor Osiris cut him off with a mischievous smile.

“Um, Muria, let

tell you sothing. Becoming a deity, for you, is a very simple thing. With the gift of the Primordial Blood given to you by your maternal grandfather Dimos, you don’t need many believers to beco an eternal and immortal deity.”

When the chanism Emperor Osiris emphasized “eternal and immortal deity”, he seed to be dismissive, “However, if you choose the path of the epic, then you will face the risk of sudden death and unimaginable difficulties.”

Seeing the confusion on Muria’s face and his lack of understanding of the unimaginable difficulties ntioned by Osiris, Ansol, who had been silently watching, spoke up.

“Muria, to beco an epic figure, you need to leave Elasia and go to other smaller worlds. In those unfamiliar worlds, you will be alone with no help nor protection. Everything will depend solely on you.”

“Why leave Elasia?” Muria asked, puzzled. “Can’t I achieve epic status in my own world?”

“Ha, Muria. Only by saving the world can you be rewarded by it and gain the source power at your disposal. If a catastrophe threatening the entire world of Elasia were to occur, even an epic with a power comparable to the great divine power would be helpless.”

“I see.” Muria touched his nose, masking his embarrassnt. He now understood that the world rank of Elasia is too high. If a real problem were to arise, even the top leaders would be blindsided, let alone a small legend.

Therefore, if you want to be a savior and obtain the World Origin Force, you can only go to a lower ranked world. If a world’s rank is too high, a legend wouldn’t have the power to solve its problems. Compared to the path of Godhood, the difficulty of becoming an epic was incomparable.

“Muria, can you tell

now, deity or epic, which one do you choose?”

“Of course, the epic.” Upon hearing Osiris’s question, Muria showed his snow-white teeth and said as a matter of course.

This was definitely the answer that Osiris and his father Ansol wanted to hear. Muria could confidently guarantee this because he could feel his father staring at him with his overwhelming gaze.

“Good.” Hearing Muria’s answer, Osiris nodded approvingly. Then, he looked towards the Egg of Void that Muria had placed to the side. “Is that egg a gift from Akmonde?”

“Ah!” Seeing the egg he had thrown on the ground, Muria exclaid in surprise. This was because, in a very short amount of ti, half of this egg had already sunk into the tallic ground. Seeing this, Muria hurriedly pulled out the gigantic egg.

“What is this?” Looking at the semi-elliptical hole in the hard tallic ground, perfectly matching the Egg of Void, Muria, sowhat dumbfounded, looked at Osiris. He didn’t think that a person of Osiris’s stature would covet sothing belonging to soone of his younger generation.

“Your egg ate a piece of my ground.” Osiris examined the Egg of Void, which was being held by Muria and was no longer moving. “It hasn’t hatched yet, but it’s already so greedy. I can’t believe Akmonde gave you sothing like this.”

“This ground…” Muria stared at the hole ford by the Egg of Void devouring part of it. Just like a living thing, it was slowly healing. Seeing the ground restored to its original condition, Muria couldn’t help but stomp on it hard, saying while looking at the unchanged ground filled with brilliant magic patterns, “It’s so hard.”

“No need to waste your energy; you won’t be able to destroy the ground with your current strength. It’s just that the egg Akmonde gave you is too special. It swallowed even the magic patterns I’d set.”

Muria tugged at the corner of his mouth. This egg was indeed special; at the very least, he’d never heard of an egg that could swallow tal. Moreover, when Muria closed his eyes and carefully sensed it, he noticed that the egg which ate tal…

“It’s consuming my power.” Muria stared at the Egg of Void in his hands; it was stealthily devouring his dispersed power. The amount it was consuming was very small, so small that unless he paid close attention, he wouldn’t be able to notice it.

“This egg has already developed self-consciousness.” Osiris raised his hand, and the chanical griffin that had been standing next to Muria disappeared through a teleportation array that it had instantly created. “I’ll give you a suggestion. Feed it with your power every day, so that before it hatches, it will beco thoroughly familiar with your power.”

“Is that so?” Muria held the Egg of Void in her hands, strong golden thunders pulsating between them. The thunders that leaped onto the Black Gigantic Egg were all ruthlessly consud by the egg, leaving not a trace behind.

“Just about.” The chanism Emperor nodded, then this towering Titan turned to Muria with an amused grin, “Muria, I just made a weapon and was about to test its destructive power. Would you like to co and watch?”

“Observe the power of an epic weapon?” Muria was stunned for a mont, then nodded vigorously. “Interested, do we go and see it now?”

“Of course.”

“chanism Emperor Sir!” Hearing this, the reticent Titan Ansol couldn’t refrain from speaking out. He knew what the chanism Emperor Osiris was planning to test his weapon on.

“Ansol, no need to get anxious,” the chanism Emperor waved his hand, “Dimos sent a drop of the Dragon King’s Primordial Blood to Muria. He now has the right to observe. Nothing will happen to him.”

Following these words, overwhelming energy fluctuations transmitted from the ground. Muria’s vision blurred, unable to see anything due to what felt like a spatial shift…

When Muria’s vision cleared again, she was astounded by the object that had suddenly materialized in front of her. Countless chains inscribed with magic patterns and sparking with thunder extended in all directions in this vast space, tangling with each other to form a chain ball with a diater of several kiloters, as though it were binding so entity.

Muria peered into the distance, where she saw a tallic wall also inscribed with magic patterns at an unfathomably far distance. However, it seed even more complex than the patterns inscribed in the weapon-making chamber of the chanism Emperor. This implied that this incredibly vast space was also inside the Sky chanical City.

“Osiris!” As Muria was looking around, a voice filled with endless hatred, as though originating from the very soul, reached her ears.

“This voice… what’s going on?” Muria clutched her chest, staring at the massive chain ball before her. The voice that just caused a slight sense of nausea had co from within it.

“That’s the voice of a Evil God.” Beside Muria, Ansol, who was levitating in the air, calmly explained, “Your reaction is quite normal. Get ready, you’ll feel even more uncomfortable when you see the actual body of the Evil god.”

“The voice of an Evil God? There’s an Evil God here?” Muria stared at her Father blankly.

“Exactly! chanism Emperor Sir has captured a live Evil God. This is where it is held prisoner.”

“Captured a live Evil God!” Muria was taken aback. Having had so knowledge of epics recently enlightened, Muria could guess that the imprisoned Evil God here isn’t one of Elasia’s evil deities, but a world-destroying epic creature that wanders in the Void.

However, how powerful must one be to be able to capture a living Evil God capable of world destruction and imprison it? Muria tacitly guessed at the chanism Emperor’s power, but then realized that now wasn’t the ti for this.

“Weren’t you about to test the power of the weapon?”

“Hehe , what could possibly be better than an Evil God to test out the might of my weapon?” Nearby, chanism Emperor Osiris, hearing Muria’s words, brandished a gigantic firearm in his hand, nearly three hundred ters in length and emanating fluctuations strong enough to shake the fabric of space, and chuckled.

Hearing chanism Emperor’s words, Muria tugged at the corner of her lips. She now understood that while being a prison for the Evil God, this place was simultaneously Osiris’s weapons testing ground.

“Clatter!” The sound of chains rubbing against each other echoed as the chains attached to the large chain ball hanging in this desolate prison began to unravel. One by one, the chains that seed to be forged from pure Golden Thunder fell off, gradually revealing the true form of the demonic entity that was held captive here.

“Bleah!” Muria saw countless appendages, akin to tentacles coated with a slimy layer, swing and stretch on the surface of the gradually unfurling chain ball. These tentacles were chaotically scattered with eyeballs that continuously turned and large, salivating mouths brimming with sharp teeth. Just laying eyes on this scene made Muria feel extre disgust and nausea.

It wasn’t because the tentacles looked peculiar, but instead because the tentacles emanated an evil power that was both chaotic and invitingly corrupting. This power, as the chains with sealing power unraveled, started spreading around the unfathomably vast prison cell.

The chaotic and disordered evil force suffused the surroundings of Muria. This force invaded Muria’s body, attempting to assimilate and transform her. But this force clashed violently with Muria’s own power, causing her to feel nauseated.

“Hiss! Roar… Osiris!”

When the Evil God had completely exposed itself and roared, Muria, who couldn’t help but be curious, turned to look at the true form of the Evil God, and then received a massive shock.

How twisted and chaotic this entity was! It had no definitive shape, and was just a mass composed of tentacles, eyes, and fanged mouths… as Muria looked directly at it, an imnse force of chaos and distortion invaded her body.

Under the invasion of the Evil God’s power—which was twisting and tamorphosing her—the drop of Dragon King’s Primordial Blood inside Muria’s body was completely stimulated. Golden Dragon Flas blazed inside her body, and pieces of Dragon Scale Armor manifested on her skin.

An illusion of a golden giant dragon with eight dragon horns on its head, which made it seem like it was wearing a crown, appeared behind Muria. It tilted its head back and let out a roar that shook the Void. Along with its roar, the golden Dragon Flas incinerated all the alien forces within Muria’s body.
