Chapter 63: Chapter 63: Titan Clan Lands
“Still angry?” As they were almost out of the White Jade Divine Palace, Heloise asked Muria.
“I…” Muria responded, embarrassed with a shy smile. He trembled from anger upon hearing the giants’ discussion just now. He wanted to shout, “I didn’t lose!” Yet, the young Titan accepted his defeat honestly before the giants.
“Victory is victory, defeat is defeat. That’s how it is. Titans never hide their failures,” Heloise looked to Muria, “And Gerald is a very proud Titan. He doesn’t like losing, but he would never deny the truth.”
“His na is Gerald?” Muria muttered the na, “I’ll rember this favor.”
Sowhere along the line, the young Titan Gerald had caught up and heard Muria’s words, and responded imdiately:
“If you want to repay , then practice your martial arts. Your understanding of the Titan martial arts leaves much to be desired. Fighting against you is just uninteresting. Improve and then let
beat you fair and square!”
“Gerald.” Muria strived to lift his head, looking at the Titan teenager next to Heloise, “Do you know that today is the closest you’ll ever get to defeating . Be prepared for when I’ll beat you down to the ground!”
“Heh, Muria, everyone talks big. Your trump card is the armor derived from your Dragon’s Bloodline, right? Don’t think I can’t handle you. Wait until I get my Exclusive Weapon, then wait for your beating.”
“What Exclusive Weapon?” Muria alertly noticed the term. When he was young, the Golden Dragon Mother ntioned it when she had scolded him for hoarding Fine Gold, it seed very special.
“This is a special weapon that only we, the Titan Tribe, know how to forge. Every Titan will have an exclusive weapon of their own when they reach a certain age,” Gerald explained to Muria.
“Is this weapon special?” Muria found this sowhat strange; aren’t all weapons exclusive to only their user?
“Hmph, each Titan’s Exclusive Weapon is a natural extension of a Titan’s body. Unless granted permission, others can’t touch it. Moreover, after these Exclusive Weapons are forged, they can still be upgraded with various materials, which give them the potential to exponentially increase in power. You tell
if it’s special?”
“Gerald, will I also have an Exclusive Weapon to call my own in the future?” Muria was almost drooling at the young Titan’s description. A weapon with unlimited growth, as if it was part of the body, was like a divine artifact.
“Of course, but you’re too young now, and it will be a while before you qualify to have an Exclusive Weapon, it’s too early to talk about it.”
“I’m young? How much older are you? From the looks of it, you are about the sa age as .”
“I’m already thirty-six years old, and in sixty-four years, I’ll be a full hundred. When I turn one hundred, I will have my Exclusive Weapon,” Gerald said with evident pride.
“On your hundredth birthday…” Hearing Gerald’s words, Muria twitched at the corner of his mouth. In a hundred years, a Titan would still be considered a youth, not yet an adult. But for humans, most would be dust under the weight of ti after a hundred years.
“You two are only in your thirties and you’re already talking about Exclusive Weapons. You still have a long way to go,” Heloise interjected on the two’s lively conversation.
“Heloise, you’re only twelve years older than , and yet you still have a long wait for your Exclusive Weapon,” Gerald mumbled softly hearing Heloise’s words.
“I’m not like you,” Heloise glanced at Muria and said aningfully.
“What’s so different? I know you’re a genius, but you still have to wait until your hundredth birthday.”
“Can I ask if you could let
down now?” Muria couldn’t help but speak out. Hearing that he would only obtain his Exclusive Weapon when he turned a hundred, Muria felt disheartened. He was only thirty-three, and a hundred years felt much too distant for him.
“Bam!” At Muria’s request, Heloise rcilessly dropped him onto the ground.
“Haha, Heloise, I had thought that you were going to carry Muria straight to the Clan Land. Why did you let him go so early?”
“Are you asking for a beating?” A radiant flash of Golden Thunder struck Heloise’s body in warning.
“Huh?” Muria, who was thrown onto the ground, was confused. Soon he realized that his previously weak arms and legs were now moving as if nothing had happened. He had regained control of his body.
“Get up, we’re leaving,” Heloise called to Muria, who was lying on the ground, moving his arms and legs.
“Oh, alright,” Muria got up, realizing that they were at the entrance of the White Jade Divine Palace. For so reason, perhaps due to Muria’s recent battle, there weren’t any giant guards around.
“How are we going to get to the Clan Land?” Muria curiously asked the two Titans in front of him.
“Teleporting,” Heloise took a silver rectangular tal pillar from her bosom, its surface covered with colorful patterns.
“What is this?” Muria asked curiously.
“A One-ti teleportation array,” Gerald answered Muria’s question.
“One-ti? Teleportation array?” Muria stared blankly as Heloise carelessly threw the silver pillar onto the ground. The mont it touched the ground, the tal pillar instantly broke down, transforming into a gradually rotating, circular Magic Array.
