Chapter 58: Chapter 58: On the Importance of Appearance to the Demon

“Such enticing beauty! Truly worthy of the Succubus’s reputation.” Muria assessed the eight lovely, curvaceous succubi in the magic array, continually nodding in approval.

Soon after, Muria’s eyebrows knitted together: “These hooves really ruin it.” The succubi standing in the summoning array, as described in the books, were humanoid demons.

They possessed alluring faces and fiery figures, but their heads sported a pair of sharp horns, and on their backs were tiny black wings. None of these bothered him too much; what really irked Muria were the succubus’s legs, which resembled beastly hooves and looked quite repulsive.

“Roar, succubi!” Beneath Muria, Red Dragon Auston’s eyes lit up at the sight of the succubi in the magic array. He was eager to dash over and unleash his pent-up vigour on the succubi.

“Wait!” Seeing Auston charging ahead, Muria lifted his leg and stepped on his tail.

“Muria, what are you doing?” Auston glared back at Muria, “Don’t hinder !”

“Let’s get things straight first.” Muria stepped on Auston’s tail, looking at the other two red dragons also planning to rush over, “As I promised before, each of you dragons gets one succubus.”

“One?” Hearing he could only have one succubus, Andre was instantly riled, “Already summoned eight succubi, although not enough for our three brothers to share, but at least one dragon should have at least two, how co there’s only one?”

“Two? Hmph, one succubus is enough for you, two succubi, do you want to play yourselves into exhaustion?” Muria sneered, then swung his hand arrogantly, “Each of you dragons can only get one succubus, take it or leave it, the rest are mine.”

“Muria, what do you want the succubi for?” Auston glared at Muria, “You already have so many females, yet you still want to compete with us? Moreover, you’re a re adolescent, can’t do anything.”

“Heh!” Muria looked down on the twenty-six longusta red dragon beneath his feet, “I think I lack a succubi dance troupe, is that unacceptable ?”

“You want the succubi to dance for you?” Albert looked stunned at Muria, “How can you be like this?”

“Do you object?” Muria sneered dismissively, “The three of you co and challenge , I’ll let you use one hand, if you beat , all the succubi belong to you, how about that?”

“…” Hearing Muria’s words, Andre walked towards the eight scared-shivering succubi in the magic array without another word: “One succubus is enough for .”

“I also think one is enough.” Albert too was tactful, following Andre towards the magic array.

“Muria, let

go, the two prettiest succubi are about to be taken by those two jerks.” Seeing his brothers already in the magic array picking and choosing, Auston instantly grew restless.

“Oh? Don’t you want to challenge ?”

“Even if my brain is burned, I would never challenge you again.” Auston disdainfully snorted.

“Boring.” Hearing the response from this once most rebellious red dragon, Muria felt unimpressed and lifted his foot. Imdiately, like a released arrow, Auston shot out.

“Ah!” Muria watched incredulously as the bastard dragon, Auston, pushed a succubus to the ground, tearing at the little remaining skin cover on the succubus with his claws, causing this creature from the abyss to scream in terror.

“Degenerate.” Muria scolded upon seeing red dragon, who, in broad daylight, was getting ready to take the succubus right there, “You few, take your chosen succubi, get out of my sight, do whatever you want.”

“Such a killjoy.” Hearing Muria’s words, Red Dragon Auston grumbled dissatisfiedly. But once he turned his head to see Muria’s Thunder Spear ready to strike, he instantly turned docile. With one claw, he grabbed the succubus he’d chosen, flapped his expansive dragon wings and soared into the sky.

Then, the other two dragons also followed their older brother, each grabbing their chosen succubi, flying out of the martial arts field, disappearing from Muria’s sight.

“Your Majesty, how do we deal with these five succubi?” After the departure of the three Red Dragons, a Storm Giant with a bloodstained greatsword asked Muria.

“There’s no need to kill these ones!” Muria glanced at the Storm Giant bearing a strong sll of blood all over him. He knew that this giant seed to beco addicted to killing demons.

“Your Majesty, these are demons!”

“I know. They’re just a few succubi that don’t even have gold rank strength, I plan to raise a group for fun.” Muria casually responded, “Besides, I still have all of you, right?”

“Alright! If these demons dare to act out, my sword will let them know what happens.” Hearing Muria’s reason, the Storm Giant reluctantly withdrew.

“Take them away!” Muria watched the succubi huddled together, shivering in the magic array. He laughed as he signaled a few Cloud Giant girls to take away these nearly shocked witless creatures.

Succubi are different from ordinary demons. Many demons in the Abyss have retarded-level intelligence. Although succubi are weak, they’re one of the few demons with intelligence. So, after Muria summoned them, they were shocked by the countless number of giants around them.

“Five succubi aren’t enough!” Muria stroked his chin, “Continue summoning, we need at least ten succubi.”

“Roar!” When the summoning array activated again, a blood-red figure appeared amidst the deep red evil spirit light in the magic array, and it let out a roar full of discontent as soon as it erged.

“What do we have here?” Muria looked at the newly summoned “big cat” in the magic array, a smile spreading across his face: “A Blood Lion Demon.”

In the Magic Array, the Blood Lion Demon with glossy fur and sharp fangs under its jaws, let out a roar of annoyance. Its sharp claws scraped the magic array under its feet. It despised being brought to a new place, even if it was the Material World. But after it got a good look at its surroundings…

“ow?” The Blood Lion Demon was quite baffled. Sothing seed off about this place; there were too many giants as strong as it. It let out a timid cry, shrunk its neck, and looked at the Magic Array beneath its feet, wondering if it could send it back.

“Your Majesty!” A Storm Giant ard with a Battle Axe looked at Muria for instructions, his eyes filled with the urge to fight. A Blood Lion Demon was a very powerful Gold-level demonic beast.

“Catch it, then ta it.” Muria grinned as he gave the order. The Blood Lion Demon resembled a regular lion but larger and with blood-red fur. It had so protruding bone spikes on its body, which made it look fiercer and more brutal. Still, to Muria, it looked fantastic: the exterior was imposing.

“Yes, Your Majesty.” The Storm Giant didn’t quite understand why Muria didn’t order them to kill the Blood Lion Demon, but they carried out Muria’s orders nonetheless.

Not even three minutes had passed when the Blood Lion Demon’s claws were tightly bound and brought before Muria.

“How quick-witted!” Muria looked down at the mighty blood-colored lion. Felines boasted high intelligence both in his forr life and now even more so.

The Blood Lion Demon, forcibly summoned here, didn’t resist at all when it saw the Storm Giant trying to bind it with ropes. It allowed the Storm Giant to tie it up because it knew that it was safe.

“Perfect, Blood Lion Demons love to eat demonic flesh.” Muria glanced at the small pile of demon remnants, “Now I know how to deal with this stuff.”

“Shatter!” Muria shot out a Windblade, severing the Blood Lion Demon’s bonds. This Blood Lion Demon was too intelligent; there was no need to keep it tied up.

Then, under the Blood Lion Demon’s puzzled gaze, Muria pointed at a pile of demon remains, “Go, eat up all of that.”

“Roar!” The Blood Lion Demon roared softly and obediently crawled to its feet and ran towards the pile of corpses, as pointed out by Muria.

“One Blood Lion Demon isn’t enough to clean up the corpses!” Muria muttered, “Need to summon a few more.”

“This one is too ugly, kill it!”

“So stinky, kill it!”

“Hmm! What do we have here? Fire Burning Demon.” Muria looked at the few new demons that had just appeared in the summoning array, and his interest was piqued. This humanoid demon, with its entire body engulfed in flas, looked quite impressive.

“We won’t kill these either, let them pledge allegiance to .” Muria pointed at the demons shrouded in flas.

“Yes, Your Majesty!” Several Cloud Giants smirked and walked towards the Fire Burning Demons in the magic array, whose flas had started to flicker unsteadily. They were clearly terrified.

Although there were many fools among the demons, not all of them were. So possessed high intelligence but had no chance to use it. Their fights were mainly based on brute force, and if overwheld, they would die. To the demons, strength always superseded intelligence.

“Great being, we wish to form a pact with you and serve as your slaves.” Soon, these nine summoned Fire Burning Demons, after being taught a good lesson by the fists of the Cloud Giants, timidly kneeled down before Muria.

“Serve as my slaves?” Muria looked disdainfully at the Fire Burning Demons, “You lot are too trashy to serve . You need to at least evolve into Fla Demons first. For now, you’re not worthy.”

“Get out of my sight, if you’re hungry, go clean up those corpses.” Scolded Muria, he then turned to the giants next to him, “These demons can only stay in the martial arts field. If they dare to go out, whoever sees them can kill them without reporting to .”

These slender, bony winged demons obediently followed the Giant’s instructions and went to the pile of demon bodies. They wisely bypassed the Blood Lion Demon under its warning gaze and ran to another side to gnaw on the remains.

“Keep summoning.” Muria glanced over and beca disinterested. Now, he just wanted to have so fun.

As ti passed, the Giants and the Red Dragon also figured out which demons Muria would choose to kill and which demons could survive for the ti being. The uglier demons would surely die. Only those seeming pleasant to Muria’s eyes and ones devoid of a strong foul sll had a chance at survival.
