Chapter 541: Chapter 537: Jealousy and Greed

“Legendary Weapon and Legendary Armor!” The Divine Descendant of the Leopard could hardly believe it as he reached out and grasped the long spear, easily piercing his abdon from the Titan’s hand, feeling the hardness of it and the destructive power against his palm and abdominal cavity. At the sa ti, he saw his own Frost Battle Axe that he’d painstakingly consolidated, striking Muria’s palm without causing him any damage.

However, compared to the physical damage, what hurt the Leopard’s Divine Descendant the most was his spirit. A weapon and armor forged from legendary tal were things the Leopard’s Divine Descendant dared not even dream of. Before he encountered Muria, he could not believe such extravagant weapons and armor could exist in this world.

Yes, extravagant. For most creatures with large bodies and strong power, they couldn’t find weapons that suited them, especially the Giant Race. After reaching the level of legend, they basically had no weapons to use.

Even if they could find high-grade extraordinary tals that could withstand legendary power, to forge weapons and armor to the size of the Leopard Divine Descendant’s body shape would require a terrifying quantity. He could not afford to manufacture such weapons, let alone the fact that these weapons would consu massive resources and wouldn’t significantly enhance his combat abilities.

The low cost-performance ratio made Leopard’s Divine Descendant abandon the idea of forging his own weapons, the frozen weapons he condensed with his icy power were already enough. The power of Divine Descendants was already sufficient to make up for the gap in equipnt encountered between enemies.

However, until now, the Leopard’s Divine Descendant realized that when the gap in equipnt becos big enough, it can compensate for the gap in strength between him and his enemy.

Over three hundred years, the Leopard’s Divine Descendant had achieved the power of the fifth rank. He could et, as the years increased, even if he didn’t practice, his power would gradually grow to the legendary peak. But now, the power of only the fifth rank seed not enough.

This Titan, who ca from unknown origins and coveted the faith of his father’s Frost Giant Tribe, his strength was only the first rank and he seed to have just recently broken through. This rank difference, combined with environntal factors, gave the Leopard’s Divine Descendant full confidence, making him believe that he would easily defeat Muria.

But when the conflict really happened, the Leopard’s Divine Descendant found himself terribly mistaken. He finally understood why Muria sought direct confrontations rather than compete in power. This Titan was bullying him for his inferior equipnt.

After he painfully understood what kind of equipnt Muria was wearing and holding, the Leopard’s Divine Descendant could hardly hide his surprise and jealousy in his heart. He wasn’t a Dragon Race with a born talent for appraisal.

“No need to be so surprised!” Muria smirked and hoisted the Leopard’s Divine Descendant from the ground, holding him mid-air with the Spear of the Sun Chaser. Without giving him a chance to react, Muria twisted his palm, the Titan’s Thunder Force erupted, tearing his internal organs apart, then with a thrash, he threw his massive body straight down to the ground.

The Earth shook, and the permafrost, as hard as steel, began to collapse and sink where the Leopard’s Divine Descendant landed. Like a teorite from outer space hitting the earth, a super crater with a radius of five kiloters appeared on this vast icy plain.

“Humph!” The Leopard’s Divine Descendant couldn’t help but let out a pained grunt. Pale blue blood mixed with shards of internal organs gushed from his abdon, but they didn’t spread on the ground. Instead, they stopped as if ti was reversing, and these blood and organ fragnts began to flow back.

The Leopard’s Divine Descendant, who had regained consciousness in his pain, began to ticulously dispel and exterminate the Titan Force that Muria deliberately left in his internal organs. The process was quick but painful, beyond the endurance of mortals. Of course, mortals could only experience the pain of their internal organs being ripped apart, then death.

“Titan!” The Leopard’s Divine Descendant glared at Muria who flew into the air, his eyes unreservedly expressed his anger, and the greed for Muria’s armor and weapons. He wanted to seize them. Looting was one of the Frost Giant Tribe’s natures. If he sees a treasure that moves his heart, he will use force to seize it, just as his mother taught him, and that’s what he’s always done.

“Scrounger,” Muria spat contemptuously, his gaze cold on the Leopard’s Divine Descendant whose eyes were full of greed, provoking his foe in the midst of combat. An angry enemy was always easier to deal with than a calm one, “Being a Divine Descendant and yet unable to wield a decent weapon. Truly a disgrace. I thought a Divine Descendant would at least have a Divine Artifact. You are in no small way diminishing my impression of Divine Descendants.”

“A legendary weapon, I do not have now, but after this battle, I will.” The Leopard’s Divine Descendant’s hot gaze was fixed tightly on Muria, his eyes evidently blazing with an even fiercer light than before.

“Want to rob my weapon? Ignorant Divine Descendant, if you can, then co!” Muria coldly chuckled, and in his hands, the Spear of the Sun Chaser transford into a bundle of Golden Thunder, entering its battle form.

“Boom!” For the first ti since his advancent to legend, Muria threw the Spear of the Sun Chaser. Severe shockwaves blasted from the trajectory of the Spear of the Sun Chaser, and the massive shockwaves could be seen clearly even from tens of kiloters away. The dark clouds above Muria’s head were all dispersed with this strike, revealing a massive hole with a radius of more than ten kiloters.

“You think you can hit

with that?” Even though he felt a sense of lock-on and imnse pressure, the Leopard’s Divine Descendant didn’t panic. In a flash of light, he transford back into the enormous Snow Leopard, that Muria initially encountered, then instantly disappeared from under Muria’s eyes. He moved so quickly that even Muria’s ntal power could not capture him.

“Such speed!” Muria showed a look of astonishnt in the air, but imdiately shook his head with a hint of disdain, “But what’s the use of being fast if you can’t escape the power of the Sun Chaser? You’ve been pierced by it once; don’t dream of escaping a second ti.”

“Can’t shake it off!” Having transford into a Snow Leopard, the Leopard’s Divine Descendant dashed with extre speed across the icy plains, trying desperately to shake off the Spear of the Sun Chaser. He didn’t want to experience the feeling of being pierced again, and the Spear of the Sun Chaser, transford into Golden Thunder, seed even more powerful.

“In that case, until the end of this fight, you’ll never catch . My future weapon.” The Leopard’s Divine Descendant thought greedily and charged at Muria hovering in the sky. He swung his paw at Muria’s head, the terrifying power seemingly wanting to smash Muria’s head to smithereens.
