??Chapter 533: Chapter 529 “Inviting” the God

Chapter 533: Chapter 529 “Inviting” the God

“Bang!” The self-confident Frost Giants’ chieftain was slapped onto the ground by Muria once again. This ti, he didn’t harbor any desire to fight again. He had experienced the power of the Titan deeply, and he didn’t see the need to suffer more. Even though this Titan had just ascended to the legend level.

The Frost Giant chieftain lay on the ground, his eyes blankly gazing at the sky. The snowstorm he had disrupted during his ascent seed to be falling again. He slowly closed his eyes, feeling a bit tired. It was the first ti he’d had such a feeling since becoming a legend.

He knew that all the tribe mbers were watching him, feeling sympathy and pity for him… Perhaps none of them were mocking him, after all, he was defeated by a Titan. Everyone expected it, him losing was the normal outco. No Frost Giant wished for him to defeat a Titan.

“Done already?” Muria looked around at the frozen earth filled with potholes crashed by the chieftain of the Frost Giants.

When the Frost Giant chieftain was waiting for his power to reach its peak after his promotion with anger and humiliation, he started attack Muria as soon as he familiarized himself with it.

Seeing that the guy was weaponless, Muria placed the Army-breaking Halberd aside and wielded his fists, showing him how to be a giant and granting him a full understanding of a Titan’s power.

“No more.” The Frost Giant chieftain closed his eyes completely. He had accepted his fate. Battling a Titan gave him a sense of hopelessness, as if no victory was in sight.

“So, are you willing to follow ?” Muria stretched, his knuckles making popping sound which made the Frost Giant chieftain’s face twitch involuntarily.

“I will not betray the God of Frost Wolves. It was him who helped

beco a legend.” The stubborn Frost Giant chieftain refused Muria once again.

“Then get up and fight

again.” Muria looked down at the Frost Giant chieftain lying on the ground, “I’ll keep beating you until you’re willing.”

“I’ve admitted defeat already.”

“But you’re still not willing to follow .”

“I already have a Deity to worship. I have completely devoted my body and soul to the Deity.”

“Where is the most sacred place of worship for the God of Frost Wolves in your tribe?” Muria asked, “I want to have a word with him.”

“It was the ice house that I first erged from, but you’ve already destroyed it.”

Muria looked up, glanced at the ruins not far away, then stared at the Frost Giant chieftain and said solemnly, “You knocked it over yourself. Don’t bla it on .”

“…” The Frost Giant chieftain was speechless.

“Where is the next most sacred place of worship?” asked Muria. He knew very well that a tribe as large as this one would definitely not have just one place of worship.

“There is one here, Great Titan.” One of the Frost Giant elders, who was sowhat skinny but still very robust, walked out and pointed out the place to Muria.

“Does it contain an idol of the God of Frost Wolves?” Muria looked at the ice house, which was shorter than his own body, and frowned, “If there is, bring it out.”

Under the Titan’s command, the Frost Giants didn’t hesitate to forsake their faith. More than a dozen strong adult Frost Giants hurried into the ice house, and together they moved a wolf-shaped idol, which was sixty ters tall, to stand before Muria.

“You guys…” The Frost Giant chieftain angrily watched his tribe mbers disrespect the deity, but in the end, he gave up powerlessly. He didn’t have the strength to defend his faith.

“I intend to summon the consciousness of the God of Frost Wolves, to have it project onto this Avatar. Do you have any good suggestions?” Muria looked at the Frost Giant chieftain and asked.

“To summon the God of Frost Wolves, a large-scale sacrifice must be held. You need to prepare a Soul Intent Level beast and nine Gold Rank beasts as offerings, and one hundred and ninety-nine young Frost Giant maidens to perform the Dance of the Sacrifice…”

“A beast deity, adopting all those tricks just like human deities, really a waste of ti and effort.” Upon hearing the complicated sacrificial ritual, Muria imdiately scorned. He knew that such a complex sacrificial ritual served to increase the mystery and dignity of the deities, which was sothing that most faith-based deities made their believers do.

“But only in this way, can you summon…”

“It doesn’t have to be this complicated.” Muria contemptuously curled his lips, pulled out the Army-breaking Halberd at his side and lightly tapped the Wolf Deity statue, “Co out, I want to have a chat with you.”

His casual tone, coupled with his frivolous action, left the Frost Giants who watched this scene in shock and astonishnt.

“He is a deity.”

“I know.” Muria neither confird nor denied. He continued to tap the Wolf Deity statue with his halberd, just as if he were knocking on a door.

“Even if you are a Titan, you should show necessary respect to a deity.”

“Hmm,” Hearing the Frost Giant chieftain’s words, Muria stopped his disrespectful action, pondered for a while, then nodded in agreent, “Indeed, enough respect should be shown.”

Therefore, Muria put away his halberd, half-crouched, put his palm on top of the Wolf Deity statue, and gently patted it: “God of Frost Wolves, please co out.”

Watching Muria’s new actions, the face of the Frost Giant chieftain distorted imdiately. He barely held back his indignation. What did this Titan think a Deity was? Luckily this is just a statue. If it were the avatar of the Wolf Deity, this scene would be like a pet owner comforting his pet Frost Wolf.

“Titan, you will bring about the wrath of a deity and unpredictable consequences.”

“Oh.” Muria nodded noncommittally. Under his palm, the crudely carved Wolf Deity statue emitted a faint glow, hinting the presence of divine power.

“As expected, there is a reaction as soon as the Power of Faith is touched.” At the sight of the extraordinary idol, Muria couldn’t help but smile; everything was going as he expected.

The mont that statue appeared in Muria’s sight, thanks to his divine fusion, he could see the Power of Faith entwined within it. While Muria didn’t want to use the sacrificial ritual to “invite” the consciousness of the Wolf Deity, stirring these powers of faith was certainly a good choice.

Faith is the source of a Deity’s power. If he pretends to steal it, Muria is one hundred percent confident that the Wolf Deity will pay attention. At that ti, everything will be much easier.

However, the act of Muria touching and seizing the Power of Faith was seen as an act of blasphemy by the Frost Giants, yet, except for the Frost Giant chieftain, not one of the giants stood up to stop him.

“Mortal!” As soon as the God of Frost Wolves felt his Power of Faith being stolen, he imdiately projected his consciousness and consud so of his divine power to manifest an Avatar, using his idol as a root, to create one with fighting capability.
