Chapter 497: Chapter 493 Chaotic Gods

“Foolish, shortsighted beast!” In the center of a vast divine kingdom, a one-eyed, broad-shouldered, bearded human male sits atop the divine throne, half-dressed in armor and black leather gloves. His hollow eye socket brims with swirling sparks, covered by a black eyepatch, surrounded by ceaseless storm.

“Useless creatures always trying to steal power from others.” Talos, the Lord of the Storm, disdainfully looked at his nominal subordinate god, seemingly forgetting his own theft of the Winter Maiden’s power, an act leading to the disloyalty and dissent of the raging god.

“Attacking the lineage of the Titan, did you ever think of the consequences?” Talos’s eyes mirrored all scenes of the chaotic battlefield on the Senapus subcontinent.

His believers participated in the war, so he could witness this. Well, this believer joined the war willingly, it has nothing to do with him, Talos thought, as he perceived the anomaly happening in the middle of an archipelago in the Erathia world.

“I’ve never seen such a youthful Titan with so many exclusive weapons.” Talos mused, his hand supporting his chin, “Is it because the kid is a half-blood Titan? Don’t they worry about ruining him by spoiling him this much?”

Although Talos was among the Chaotic Evil Gods, as a powerful divine entity, he could restrain this chaos and act properly in crucial monts. He had no intention of descending his avatar.

Such weak source power might tempt the Hunting God Mara, who possess weak divine power. Yet to him, Talos, it was too insignificant; descending his avatar to fight for it will only be deaning.

Exactly, that’s it. It’s definitely not because he’s wary of the Epic Titans, reasons that were utterly unfounded. He, the noble Lord of Storms, one of the most powerful deities in the Erathia world, would not care for any Epic Titans.

Although many evil gods were paying attention to the battlefield, most of the deities descending to the field were similar to Mara, the Scourge Maiden, and the Sli Monster Goddess; those at the bottom among the collective of deities.

Those truly powerful deities, such as Talos, the God of Storms, Bane, the God of Tyranny, and Shirek, the God of Murder–none of them planned to engage. They were just calmly observing the subsequent developnts, playing the role of a serene spectator.

“Roar! Source power.” Mara, who had gnawed the legendary sea beast in hand down to re bones, roared. The barbarian his avatar occupied had already been transford into an unrecognizable creature, a grotesque mixture of baboon and big cat – it was hard to describe but extrely ugly.

“So it’s the avatar of a deity!” Muria, who, amped by the power of the Dragon King, had been bathing in the blood of countless legends, glanced at the growing form of Mara’s avatar, ready for battle.

“Can you withstand my weapons?” Muria surveyed the Hunting God, who was greedily eyeing him. He seed to sense sothing special within its body, which held so attraction for him.

Without unnecessary words, the two colossal beings collided directly. Blood sprayed. Without any surprise, Muria injured Mara in their first clash. The bottom-tiered god didn’t risk sending down his divine artifact.

“Dragon King!” Mara cast a reluctant glance at the majestic phantom of the Dragon King behind Muria, fighting greedily for the source power, its wound inflicted by Muria slowly healing.

“As expected from the avatar of a deity, what a nuisance!” Muria frowned slightly. His weapon could hurt Mara’s avatar, but it felt like cutting cowhide with a blunt knife, each cut requiring even more strength. He couldn’t kill this beast as easily as he did with ordinary legends.

“Clang!” “Roar!” The sound of weapon collision echoed. As Muria fought fiercely with Mara, he found himself gradually losing ground, despite the advantage of the Dragon King’s power and his superior weaponry.

Even if Mara belonged to the bottom tier among the deities, it was still a god, an entity that countless mortals feared and revered. Moreover, it had been around for a long ti, and the concepts associated with its domain were all about hunting and tracking. It was a god known for its proficiency in combat.

“More deity avatars are coming.” Muria, already gradually losing ground, turned pale. He saw lights, carrying the immortal air of deities, descending, phasing into so unnoticeable entities on the battlefield, the aura of the gods diffusing, legends retreating, soul intent bowing, gold crawling…

“Mara, step back! I want this Titan!” A domineering voice broke through the clamoring, filled with arrogance, making people uncomfortable.

“Why? This is my prey!” Mara sneered at a female figure with blue-green skin nearby. Her hands had claw-like fingers, her eyes had a deathly white sheen as pearls. Her hair was like living seaweed–Amboli, the Sea Goddess. She was of the Raging Gods, sa as Mara, both serving the Lord of Storms.

“Because I am stronger than you!” The infuriated Amboli, who descended her avatar out of sheer hatred and greed, raised the trident and charged Mara’s avatar. Amboli intended to intimidate her lesser gods, and the gods attacking Muria started fighting each other instead.

“This is the Material World, how much stronger can you be?” Mara charged at the Sea Queen, fearing nothing with his transford body.

There is a cap to divine entities’ powers in the Material World, so it’s not surprising to see avatars from weaker gods overpower the powerful ones.

“Then let

show you the difference between you and .” After lifting Muria with her trident, Amboli, aiming to suppress her lesser, started confronting Mara.

“Tee hee, all are a bunch of idiots.” A curvaceous girl with grey-white skin dotted with dark red tattoos appeared in front of Muria. Her long black hair hung down to her buttocks. She held a snake-head whip in one hand, the other one covering her mouth, giggling creepily.

“Get lost!” A half-human, half-spider sultry entity erged next to the Whip Girl. Each god was guarding Muria’s source power, as none of them wished to share it with others.

“Spider Queen, I’m not afraid of you!” The girl, her body full of whip marks, raised her snake-head whip against the Spider Queen’s avatar, unafraid.
