Chapter 283: Chapter 278: The Future
Muria had given one of his exclusive weapons, the Spear of the Sun Chaser, to White Tiger Troy, asking it to track the Soul-level Monsters he had marked with imprints as he road the wilderness, and then subdue them.
So now, based on the inseparable connection between himself and the Spear of the Sun Chaser, Muria quickly located Troy’s current position and opened the Teleportation Gate based on the spatial coordinates…
“Hey, big cat, you’ve been doing quite well, haven’t you?” As soon as he stepped through the Space Gate, Muria saw a snow-white, winged big cat lazily lying on a cliff over a hundred ters high, with a Long Spear wrapped in thunderfire beside it.
“Muria! What are you here for?” Sensing the sudden appearance of the black-haired, golden-pupiled teenager, Troy cracked open his tightly closed eyes, revealing a flash of green tiger eyes, “You don’t trust ?”
“I just ca to check, and also…”
“Check what?” White Tiger Troy’s eyes squinted open to look at Muria,” I have already tad all the monsters you asked for. Not only that, I’ve expanded the wolf pack you left behind by a few dozen tis.”
“Is that so?” Muria raised an eyebrow, showing a hint of doubt, “Where are the Monsters you tad?”
“Roar!!!” Upon hearing Muria’s questioning, Troy, without moving his body, lazily raised his head and let out a roar that echoed across the wilderness.
Shortly afterwards, the ground began to tremble. Centered on the cliff where the big cat was located, Fierce Wolves began to surge in all directions, their numbers forming a massive Black Tide. This Black Tide was primarily black, but among them were regular flashes of golden.
These were the Fierce Wolves that had followed Muria, infected by his aura. They underwent a leap in their life forms, entering a new level, their bodies being mutated and their fur completely turning golden. Beneath their fur were delicate scales.
These once weak Fierce Wolves, after following Muria for a while, had beco Dragon-transford Huge Wolves that were over ten ters in size, with each of them leading hundreds of Fierce Wolves.
At the forefront of the Black Tide was a Gold Wolf over twenty ters in length. As the Wolf King, it had the strength to suppress any Giant Wolf due to its infusion with a drop of Muria’s blood.
Moreover, several months later, it underwent new changes. A pair of short horns protruded from its forehead and there were two noticeable bulges on its back. The influence of Muria’s blood on it was still ongoing.
The ones who answered Troy’s call weren’t just these Fierce Wolves and Dragon-transford wolves… The earth cracked open and an Earth Dragon with thick, heavy scales, well-known to Muria, crawled out; a loud cry echoed in the sky as a giant eagle with iron feathers flew in; a Three-headed Chira with heads of a sheep, lion, and snake approached, parting the Black Tide ford by the Giant Wolves…
One by one, the Soul-level Monsters that Muria had once marked with the Spear of the Sun Chaser appeared and then prostrated under the cliff where Troy was laying in Muria’s sight.
“All the land you see now belongs to
and every creature has submitted to ,” said Troy proudly. It paused for a mont before speaking again, sowhat embarrassed, “As for your six dragons, I have been trying hard to find them but to no avail.”
“Trying hard?” Muria looked at Troy, sprawled on the cliff looking utterly relaxed, and twitched his mouth. You must have misunderstood the aning of trying hard.
“Don’t worry about the six dragons, they’ve already been found.” Muria shook his head, showing no remorse at all. The big cat is living an easier and more comfortable life than he is, not running around all the ti like him.
“They have been found in such a short ti?” Troy looked at the Monsters prostrating at his feet, taken aback. Then, a trace of anger appeared on its fluffy tiger head, “Did I work in vain all this ti?”
“Busy? Besides taming the Monsters I marked, what else have you done?” Muria looked at Troy with an expressionless face, “Laying around sleeping here?”
“…” Upon hearing Muria’s query, the snow-white big cat was sowhat embarrassed and turned its head aside. Indeed, aside from completing Muria’s request, it hadn’t done anything else and spent most of its ti sleeping. It didn’t care about these dragons.
“Now, prepare to go with ,” Muria decreed lightly.
“Leaving this subcontinent?”
“Yes, I’ve found all six dragons my mother banished here, so there’s no need for
to stay here. I should move on to the next subcontinent.”
“How do you plan to reach the next subcontinent?” Troy asked curiously, “Cassio can’t help you this ti.”
“I can use the teleportation array set up by the Human Church.”
“You can borrow from them?” The large cat looked at Muria with surprise, then with curiosity, “What are you doing in the human kingdom?”
“A lot of things.” Muria held out her hand, the Spear of the Sun Chaser, flickering with frosty edges and swirling with thunder, flew from beside the snow-white large cat into Muria’s palm.
“What about them?” Hearing that they would be leaving here and heading to another subcontinent, Troy had no objections. However, her turquoise tiger eyes looked at the many monsters crouching below, with a touch of reluctance.
Having lived together for several months, they had forged a bond. At Troy’s question, Muria was silent for a mont. She looked down to see a giant wolf with twin horns coming out of its forehead looking up at her. It was the Dragon-transford Wolf King who had received her blood.
“They stay here,” Muria said after a mont’s thought. “This is where they belong.”
“Can’t they co with us?”
“No,” Muria shook her head. The elental crystals needed to teleport across continents had to be paid for by her – a very high cost.
Yes, since the consumption was too high and she had to foot the bill. If it’s teleportation within the subcontinent, the church could exempt her from the fees. But the consumption of intercontinental teleportation could not be exempted.
Muria had no complaints about this. Being allowed to use this strategic teleportation array was a great privilege in itself. She couldn’t ask for more, especially since she already had as many as 30 dragons to take with her. Asking for the church to help cover the costs would be downright unprincipled.
“Don’t worry, as long as they don’t provoke creatures too strong, they can easily survive on this land.”
“Then let
give them a heads up before I go with you.” Troy gave Muria a glance, then leaped off the cliff to the monsters she had forcibly subdued.
…The Dragon-transford Wolf King looked up at the black-haired, golden-eyed boy in the sky with a mix of sadness, loss, and lancholy. This was the being that had given it a new life.
When he appeared, the Dragon-transford Wolf King was overjoyed and excited, thinking it could be of service again. Like before, it bore this gentleman across endless wilderness, leading the giant wolves under its command to slaughter any monsters that dared to stand in their way.
But to the Dragon-transford Wolf King’s disappointnt, after the gentleman appeared, he barely glanced at him before ignoring him.
Moreover, it heard all the conversation between that gentleman and Troy. It didn’t understand what subcontinent ant. But it understood one thing: this gentleman was going to leave with Troy to a place so far away that they would abandon them.
What disappointed it even more was that Troy ca down to say so comforting words of farewell, but that gentleman still had no intention of coming down.
However, when
Muria with Troy disappeared, a familiar voice rang in its ears, imdiately dispelling its earlier listlessness and filling it with fighting spirit.
“Oh, Wolf King who has received my blessing, keep on practicing diligently. When the ti cos that I need you, I hope you can surprise .”
