Chapter 1426: Chapter 1384: You Turn into a Goddess!

“Your Majesty!”

The Frost and Snow Deity, cast out through the Spatial Rift by the Sun Deity, fell into an uninhabited mountain. Although sowhat concerned for the safety of their own Supre God, it was their own survival that worried them more.

So, after brief and careful deliberation, they decided to watch from the sidelines and not get involved in the battle between these two great gods.

They were now a minor god without a Divine Kingdom, like a rootless weed blown away by the wind; even a slightly violent impact could cause them to perish, plunging into an endless eternal slumber.

But after an exceptionally anxious wait, the Frost and Snow Deity witnessed the worst possible outco—a Crimson Gold Rainbow streaked across the sky, falling towards the infinite distance.

And standing quietly on the ground, awaiting the result, was the Frost and Snow Deity who, looking at the lingering traces in the sky, found their feelings indescribable. With their keen vision, they clearly saw what had just crossed the firmant.

“Defeated again?”

The Frost and Snow Deity suppressed their own emanations to the lowest, not wanting to draw attention. At the sa ti, they began contemplating what to do, for their Supre God had been defeated ti and again, and the future looked grim indeed!

“With such prowess, the only advantage they have over Hades is simply living longer.”

So thoughts, like mosquitoes that uncontrollably breed after the arrival of a hot sumr, strangely began to surface in the mind of the Frost and Snow Deity.

They were originally a Subordinate God forcibly taken in by the might of the Sun Deity, acting properly—as a Divine Spirit held in high regard before the domains connected, naturally, they didn’t have the mortal devotion to sar their liver and brain on the ground in sworn loyalty to their lord.

Initially, their understanding was that the Sun Deity was one of the top powerhouses in this vast world, so mixing with Him didn’t seem like a waste at all.

Therefore, at the beginning, there had even been a hint of guilty pleasure in their heart, thinking they had found a strong backer. But now, the little joy and the unspoken Pride that had once lurked in their heart had dissipated like smoke.

The original awe of this Powerful Divine Force had also faded by more than half following the Deity’s consecutive defeats. After all, an Ancient Divine Spirit that had survived for hundreds of thousands of years was being continuously bested by a younger successor.

Both possessed Powerful Divine Forces and controlled the positions of “Sun” and “Death,” with neither having a competitive edge over the other, yet when they truly clashed, the result turned out like this.

“Better head back!”

Although they now entertained the idea of defecting and changing allegiances, the Frost and Snow Deity wasn’t foolish—the ti to betray had not yet co.

Though the Sun Deity was defeated, for Him, the loss was nothing more than so inconsequential strength and a blow to a pride that did not affect any real interests.

Even a starved cal is larger than a horse, the Sun Deity’s foundation remained. They might have no asures against Hades, but for a wanted Subordinate God like themselves, they certainly had the power to put them into an eternal slumber.

“Oh, Hades!”

After deciding what to do, the Frost and Snow Deity lingered no longer, avoiding the direction in which the Solar Scepter had flown, and casually chose a direction to escape.

Within the receding turmoil of continuous spatial storms in the Spatial Rift, Muria looked at the black and red fleshy tendrils writhing on their body and quickly soothed it,

“Hey, don’t chase. Let the little snack run, it’s fine! I’ll take you to a feast.”

Upon saying this, Muria’s appearance, like an indescribable Evil God, slowly returned to normal. Yet, intertwining golden armor with black and red flesh, Muria still looked incredibly sinister, much like a Demon Lord.

“I may not exactly be a demon king,” mused Muria to themselves, “but wielding the Death God Position makes

even more terrifying than a demon king.” With another Victory under their belt, Muria’s mood was lifted.

Although they had destroyed only an Avatar this ti, the combat strength of this Avatar was nonetheless closely matched with the Sun Deity’s true self, so it was a significant loss for the Sun Deity as well.

More importantly, the Avatar’s trendous fighting power had entirely relied on that Scepter, which now had been sent flying.

While Muria was unsure of the extent of damage that Scepter had suffered, one thing they were certain of was that the Scepter had indeed been damaged, and not lightly, for Yingdila had taken a bite out of it, and had even chipped off a small piece.

“Should I just finish Him off?”

Muria fell into contemplation, then, opting for caution, decided to play it safe. Though now humbled by age, the foundation of the Sun Deity remained.

To directly confront him would an having a chance at victory, yet not high. More crucially, this war shouldn’t only focus on the Sun Deity, as other Divine Spirits were also observing this conflict with interest.

A single misstep could result in a pyrrhic victory if they both erged greatly weakened, potentially inviting a swarm of opportunistic fishern to reap the benefits, and that would be an unpleasant experience indeed.

After much thought, Muria decided to dispose of a few of the Sun Deity’s Subordinate Gods instead, not to ntion, at the very least, destroying the Divine Kingdom and the main Temples.

The tranquil and peaceful sky was suddenly covered by grey fog, and the once brilliant sunlight got completely obscured, plunging all creatures within the domain into an unprecedented panic.

And thus, faith beca more devout than ever, yet the deity worshiped by this domain found no joy in it, for it was rely a sign of their impending fall!

“Majesty of the Netherworld! Why must it be ?”

The God of Life, who wielded control over all living beings under the Sun God, saw the grey fog that had penetrated his divine kingdom and could only smile bitterly, feeling helpless.

Being cornered in his own ho by a powerful divine force left no escape, and the outco was already sealed. If his Sun God did not co to his aid, then all he could do was struggle in vain before sadly perishing.

“It’s simple, because you are a subordinate god of the Sun God, and moreover, you are the God of Life.”

A towering figure appeared within the obscure grey fog that had invaded the divine kingdom, looking at the seemingly resigned deity, his sword charged and ready to strike.

“Are you in conflict with my divine position? I didn’t want this either!” But the deity with only weak divine strength felt very helpless. Had he advanced to interdiate divine strength, within his own divine kingdom, he would dare to contend with this particular Majesty of the Netherworld.

But sadly, he was only of weak divine strength, and in the face of such a conflict in divine positions, such a vast disparity left him in a predicant where death was certain.

If it was just that, he would not harbor feelings of discontent. But the issue was, before his allegiance to the Sun God, he had a considerable potential to advance. However, after the appearance of the Sun God, he was forced to beco a subordinate god with severed prospects for further advancent, and his developnt was even restricted.

“You’ll just have to chalk it up to bad luck.”

Muria laughed heartily, feeling sowhat sympathetic towards the deity, but he did not hold back in the slightest. Being lenient with the enemy was cruel to oneself and to one’s loved ones and friends.

“Majesty of the Netherworld, do I have any other choice?” the God of Life asked, not holding out much hope.

Unexpectedly, the Majesty of the Netherworld, who had repeatedly thwarted his Sun God, actually answered—and his tone was surprisingly anable.

“Of course there’s a choice, beco my subordinate god. How about it?”

“Really? Is that possible?” The God of Life was sowhat surprised.

“Of course, I am much easier to talk to than that old codger, the Sun God. For example, I won’t restrict your developnt because I improve and grow stronger much faster than you.”

“If only I had t you first, Majesty of the Netherworld, how wonderful that would have been!” The subordinate god of the Sun God expressed his heartfelt sentints.

“But I need to ask clearly, have you struck any special contract with the Sun God? Or has he placed any particularly stringent restrictions on you?”

Muria made his concerns clear, he worried that the Sun God might be as scheming as he was, demanding each subordinate god to surrender overlapping divine positions upon allegiance.

But as it turned out, such worries were unnecessary. The core divine position of the Sun God was “Sun,” and although there were subsidiary divine positions, they all stemd from the “Sun” and were in no way connected to life.

“No, I have only made a master-servant contract with the Sun God, where He shelters , and I am loyal to Him. Now that Majesty of the Netherworld, you’ve invaded my divine kingdom, and my master god has yet to show himself, He has first breached the contract. So, if He has already violated the contract, there is no problem for

to no longer abide by it and beco Your subordinate god.”

“I see,” Muria imdiately understood. The Sun God had probably been extrely confident, believing in his own strength to suppress the deities that erged after that war, so he did not place many restrictions. More importantly, He was also worried that overly strict contracts could provoke these deities to rebel.

“Given that, I grant you permission to beco my subordinate god, but you must surrender part of your divine positions to .”

“What divine position?” The God of Life was a bit confused. Then he quickly realized that the world was not as wonderful as he had imagined; the seemingly magnanimous deity before him had seized his principal divine position.

Even though it was returned to him almost imdiately, that divine position no longer belonged to him; he was rely a user of the divine position.

“Majesty of the Netherworld, who would have thought you could even take control of the ‘Life’ divine position.”

After getting over his initial complicated feelings, the God of Life noticed an extrely important piece of information.

“There are many things you wouldn’t expect,” Muria, whose divine power had increased even by a small margin, replied in a buoyant mood.

“Well then, from now on, you are my subordinate god. To cater to the sentints of that ancient antique a bit, you should change your form slightly and modify the doctrine of your church as well.”

“Change my form?”

“Switch your current gender; in fact, with the divine position you control, a female appearance would suit you better.”

Muria made a very pertinent suggestion.
