Chapter 1387: Chapter 1361: The Fallen Sun_2
“Right, Grandfather, if possible, please try your best to seal those legendary undead and divine corpse puppets. If not, then you may destroy them!”
Muria suddenly thought of a very important issue and imdiately issued a reminder.
Securing the Death God Power was only a matter of ti. In other words, this Netherworld was his, and those undead being slaughtered by the Blazing Sky Gods at that mont were also his; they were his future assets.
“I’ll do my best.”
Hearing Muria’s request, which wasn’t really excessive, Aludiba agreed almost without thinking, as it was indeed too simple.
Just as Muria had withdrawn his thoughts, he suddenly sensed sothing wrong, for the sword in the hands of the Undead Emperor had actually penetrated his defenses, cleaving through his Saintly Imperial Abyss and opening his chest,
“Stop slacking, everyone. If we drag this out, who knows what other troubles might arise. Let’s show so real skill!”
Sensing that there was sothing off with the state of the Undead Emperor, Dimos called out. Then, taking the lead under Muria’s sowhat surprised gaze, the original thousand-ter-tall true form of this Dragon King ancestor suddenly doubled in size, appearing like a golden mountain range spanning the Sky Do.
It seed that Dimos had set an example, and the other Dragon Kings, who had appeared “not so impressive” to Muria, burst with overwhelming auras, unleashing forces capable of shaking the Netherworld,
The dazzling starry sky instantly replaced the Netherworld’s originally dark and dull do, speckled with countless stars, each symbolizing the power of the Star Cluster Dragon Kings. When stars fell, it signified the wrath of the Star Cluster Dragon Kings.
The bone ground that had turned to dust under their feet trembled, and centered on their current battlefield, a super circular abyss rose from the earth, reaching tens of thousands of ters in radius, soaring directly into the radiant starry sky.
A battle space completely sealed off from the outside world materialized, an epical creation without any elevation in the middle, separating the entire battlefield, preventing the outside world from interfering with Muria and the Undead Emperor’s battle before breaching this rock barrier.
Whoosh!
The sound of tide fluctuations rang in Muria’s ears, but he felt no moisture. Instead, he sensed the surrounding concentrations of the basic elents of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire surging wildly, while in contrast, the density of Death Qi was plumting.
This was sothing Muria himself had done, but what was slightly different was that Dragon King Bita was now invoking an Elental Tide on an even grander scale…
“Damn it!”
Noticing the changes in his environnt following Dimos’s shout, Muria couldn’t help but curse inwardly,
The Dragon Kings, including his grandfather, were all slacking off. After sensing sothing was amiss, they finally revealed so (partial) real skills, instantly changing the battle environnt, even giving Muria the illusion that he was fighting on ho turf.
“You Evil Gods, do not dream of defeating !”
Even the delirious Undead Emperor sensed that his situation was getting dire. He roared, brandishing his weapon, pulling at the Laws of Death that were superior to Muria’s, his fighting spirit high.
And facing a Death God respected and avoided by most Divine Beings, Muria was not intimidated in the slightest.
What made Death Gods admirable was because their Divine Art could instantaneously strip a creature of life without any rationale. Nonetheless, while such imdiate death Divine Art can be immune to Gods, having immunity to the domineering effects of the Divine Art does not an one can overlook the erosion and damage the Death God Power can inflict on Divine Beings. Death itself signifies the end, cessation, annihilation. Death God Power can corrode other Divine Powers and cause irreversible damage to the bodies of Divine Beings, which can only be repaired by reshaping.
No sane Divine Being would want to bear such a cost. However, Muria was not one of them. He too wielded the Death God Power, and his actions at this mont could be begrudgingly described as infighting, belonging to a struggle for Divine Power.
The only thing He needed to consider was whether He could defeat the Undead Emperor in direct combat, and for Him now, that was still a relatively easy task because He, had cheated.
“Although I really wish to defeat you in a fair and just manner, and then take over everything you possess, unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of ti to waste.”
Muria sighed softly to Himself, then with a gentle inhalation, a third of the Elental Tide drawn by Dragon King Bita was absorbed into His body. His majestic blood surged, and the golden bloodstain on His chest healed in the blink of an eye.
Then, Muria, who had been buffed by several layers by the Dragon Kings, swung the Battle Halberd in His hand at the Nether Sovereign, who had been whittled down to a dog’s state, and the Fixed Star Beads revolving around Him attracted the thunder, fortified by the Star Cluster Dragon Kings, directly forming a thunderous waterfall that engulfed the Nether Sovereign.
Boom—
In an instant, the tide of the battle turned.
The Nether Sovereign, who previously had Muria on the defensive, was now overwheld by Muria. The protective Divine Light on His body, which would make all attacks wither and dissipate, beca weak as His connection to the Divine Kingdom was severed. It flickered unsteadily like a bonfire in the wind.
Shards of shattered black and grey Armor exploded with the burst of thunder, and Muria, in a mont, collected these fragnts that had separated from the Nether Sovereign’s body and fused them into Himself, beginning to use them as a dium to seize the Divine Power controlled by the Nether Sovereign.
This was destined to be an extrely difficult process because the Deity who controlled the Death God Power had not fallen. He still retained His subjective will, and though He lacked sufficient wisdom, He could react to external situations.
Moreover, the amount of Divine Power that could be seized through these scattered shards was truly trivial. Yet this was sothing Muria had to do; with every fragnt he plundered, the Nether Sovereign grew weaker by the sa amount, creating a disparity of two parts.
With ti passing, Muria clearly felt the Death God Power under His control expanding, His strength further growing. This was a thrill Epics could not comprehend, but Muria also felt His connection to the world deepening.
Divine Power, which could influence the world order and uphold the operation of Law, represented authority as well as responsibility. To so beings, it was also an unbreakable shackle. The greater the power, the greater the responsibility, and the restrictions that ca with it were proportionate.
And just as Muria was in painful pleasure, the consequences of the Epics’ cleansing of the Netherworld began to erge, and the Divine Beings reacted accordingly.
…
“My Avatar left in the Netherworld has been eradicated: white, obliterated, purified—such power is quite unfamiliar.”
Atop the highest peak of the Mountain Realm, the Lord of Ten Thousand Mountains, holder of the Earth Divine Power, fell into contemplation, pondering the information transmitted back before His Avatar was erased.
Undoubtedly, certain beings or maybe several beings had already eyed that one of their number who had lost His wits, and His Avatar had been eradicated because the opposition was clearing the field and did not wish for an existence like His to fish in troubled waters.
“There might be other possibilities, but the most likely is that fellow. The only inconsistency is the level of power, but that isn’t really a problem.
If it really is that young one, it’s still a decent outco. After all, he’s not my enemy. On the contrary, he does not get along with that prideful fellow of the Blazing Sky Gods. In that case, the stronger He is, the better.”
“Hm? Can’t stay put anymore?”
The ancient Deity’s eyes burst forth with radiant yellow Divine Light. He could see a great sun separating from a Divine Kingdom filled with endless Light and then plumting towards a Kingdom of the Dead shrouded in the breath of desolation.
“Is it fear?”
