Chapter 1367: Chapter 1351: The Backstab of the Sun God

Knowing that it was a trap, a normal person’s action would be to walk away. Muria was of course normal, and should have walked away too, but the allure of the bait placed inside the trap was just too tempting.

So Muria couldn’t resist and ventured inside, but knowing that soone was scheming against him, naturally Muria had to ponder how to out-sche them.

The best-case scenario was for him to avoid all the pitfalls and co out unscathed with the bait at the bottom of the trap, swallowing it down. And what supported him in accomplishing all this was, of course, his own strength.

Therefore, Muria consciously concealed his power, trying to retain as much energy as possible to deal with ergencies and not fall into the most embarrassing situation.

But the actual situation simply didn’t allow him to hide too much of his strength. He, attempting to play the pig to eat the tiger, was truly getting pounded as one, and if this continued, he’d really be turned into a pig.

Hence, feeling extrely frustrated, Muria unleashed his true fundantal strength, the innate divine power from Titan, and with one move, he overturned the Ancient God, laying him out flat.

Although he hadn’t gained any substantial advantage, he had at least managed to regain so ground in terms of montum. At the very least, Muria felt that his explosive action had vented quite a bit of the frustration bottled up in his heart.

“Forget it, fight first, no need to hold back anymore.”

Muria flew out from the Abyss he had been smashed into, then setting his gaze on the Ancient God who also stood up from the earth, he clenched his fist and charged without a word.

He now desired nothing else but for his mind to be clear, otherwise what was his cultivation for all this ti, he had already beco a god, and had been repressed enough, still having to endure the madman who took him for a mount prattling in front of him, he couldn’t stand it, this breath must be let out.

Boom, boom, boom—

Once Muria decided to release a part of his power, the situation of the battle changed dramatically. The continuous mountain ranges collapsed into rubble beneath their feet, turning into dust.

The horrific shockwaves spread thousands of miles away, causing countless intelligent Undead to tremble with fear, and even forming a ring-shaped Undead tide that continuously spread outward from their center.

The intelligent Undead would instinctively avoid this natural disaster that could easily end their existence, but sadly, from the day of their birth, they were destined to be used for war. The only reason they could now flee for their lives was that the beings who created them had not yet thought to rember them.

And after several rounds of combat, Muria took advantage of the mont to pull out the Damo Sword he had just stabbed into the body of the Ancient God, which didn’t have any special fluids like Ancient God blood on it.

Muria wasn’t surprised; when he had just stabbed this sword into the body of the Ancient God, he already had a premonition because the feedback he received from the sword felt as if he’d stabbed into Legendary tal.

This Ancient God, wasn’t of flesh and blood. What exactly he was, Muria wasn’t clear, but Muria guessed it was most likely made up of a pile of various hard bones, after all, an Undead Emperor, what else could he be.

This guess wasn’t unfounded; it was what Muria deduced from the actions of the Ancient God he was currently facing off with, sword in hand.

Endless golden thunderbolts spread across the gray sky do, and a hurricane carrying thunderfire howled over the earth; the ground constantly split open to reveal chasms, but in the next instant, they healed due to the sa force.

The battle between the two beings, both with powers reaching the level of mighty deities, was capable of destroying all known material, and the re aftermath seed to have catastrophic effects on the surrounding environnt.

However, the environnt where they were currently battling was peculiar; both the resilience of the ground and the stability of space far exceeded that of the ordinary material world.

Collapse was not an option; even before Muria bested the Ancient Gods, the Netherworld where they now fought, no matter how ravaged, its terrain changing endlessly due to their battle, would not fall apart.

“Thank goodness my brain’s gone haywire!”

After what felt like a day and a night of relentless combat, Muria let out a heartfelt exclamation in his mind.

In terms of basic attributes such as speed, agility, and physical endurance, there was no doubt that Muria was comprehensively outclassed. His opponent’s divine physique had been cultivated for over a million years, sothing that the newbie deity like him couldn’t hope to rival.

And there was no need to speak of equipnt and weapons—their opponent was a primordial god capable of acquiring the world’s most extraordinary materials and forging Divine Artifacts for themselves.

Muria had to thank his lucky stars that his race didn’t allow him to be completely crushed by his opponent’s weapon and equipnt.

Despite these disadvantages, the primary reason Muria was able to hold his own in a fight that otherwise seed evenly matched was his clear-headedness compared to his opponent’s lack thereof.

For mortals, a madman without any restraint was more dangerous than a sane man, and unfortunately, this holds true at the extraordinary level too—recklessly risking life and limb, even gods cannot withstand such attacks.

Fortunately, Muria’s opponent retained a certain level of sanity, and there were monts when Muria suspected the opponent of feigning insanity. However, he quickly dismissed the thought—there was no need to pretend with such power. If the act was indeed genuine, then surely the mind was troubled.

While the opponent was sowhat cautious and their sanity muddled, Muria could still maintain balance in the fight with what might have seed like juvenile tactics and skills.

But such equilibrium was not what Muria desired; he aid to gain an advantage skewed in his favor. No matter how he tried, he found that even exploiting a vulnerability and unleashing his concealed final reserves of strength, he couldn’t achieve the outco he sought.

“Is this as far as I can go?”

Muria thought regretfully; fail when he must, he naturally planned to retreat and think long-term, as continuing the standoff here wasn’t a solution.

But, just then, an absolutely firm and vigorous divine power exploded, and that eruption occurred precisely at Muria’s unprotected back while he was focused on the Undead Emperor,

“How co the mighty Sun God stoops to the dirty tricks of a sewer rat?” The feeling of danger caused Muria’s scales to bristle, and his ample dragon wings crossed in an instant to shield his heart. Nevertheless, a thin needle still pierced his dragon wings and shot through his heart.
