Chapter 1075: Chapter 1062: You Shouldn’t Be Able to Poison

to Death

Rip!

The sound of flesh being torn asunder echoed, and two massive flesh mounds on Muria’s back kept bulging until at last, they burst open, and a pair of bloodstained bone wings unfolded behind him.

After the bone wings erged, sanguine muscles began to grow and spread across them at a visible rate to the naked eye, followed by the appearance of mbranous webs between the spikes. Eventually, a pair of iconic Demonic Wings took form on Muria’s back.

But the transformation did not stop there, the exoskeleton that originally grew only around his joints beca thicker and more robust, and began to spread.

The exoskeleton, matching the color of Muria’s skin, crept over his body until it ford a suit of bone armor that enshrouded him, changes not brought about by his fusion with the Heart of Balrog.

Instead, these changes were the natural result of the powers inherent to his Reincarnated Body, which would manifest when they developed and strengthened to a certain extent. And now, the powers Muria possessed after his rebirth were showing these transformations following the integration of the Balrog’s might.

“Kid, the power you’ve hidden far exceeds my expectations; you’re even stronger than that giant just now,”

The Ghoul looked at Muria, who was emitting an oppressive aura, and couldn’t help revealing a trace of confusion in its eyes; it wondered why, as it was thrashing the giant earlier, Muria didn’t strike but instead coldly observed from the side.

But now wasn’t the ti to ponder over this; what it needed to consider was how to defeat this Yama, who seed to be on the sa level as itself.

“rely having more raw strength than

is useless; no matter how strong your power is, it will eventually run out, and when that ti cos, you’ll et the sa fate as the giant,”

The Ghost mused to himself as he looked at Muria, then laughed maniacally. This ti, he chose not to directly enter the fray to drain Muria’s strength because he was terrified of the fire that Muria controlled; he didn’t want to experience the agony of his spirit being scorched by flas ever again.

So his body disappeared directly into the ubiquitous Black Mist surrounding them. Then, pair after pair of crimson eyes began to appear within the mist; these were Corpse Servants created from the remnants of the creatures he had harvested.

In the next instant, the Corpse Servants summoned by the Ghoul ford a massive black tide of ghosts that surged towards Muria, intending to engulf him. In reality, for the Ghost, these servants were rely a ans to exhaust the strength of his opponents.

Muria looked at the Corpse Ghosts rushing towards him, reached down, and from the Lava Pool ford by his presence, a Lava Greatsword slowly erged, which Muria then grabbed by the hilt.

“Domains like these, I’ve grown tired of them long ago,” Muria said, surveying the engulfing Black Mist, gripping the Lava Greatsword, and stabbing downward.

Then, with him as the center, a ring of golden-red shockwave spread out, and with it, his domain unfolded.

Scorching Flas appeared in the air and consud the surrounding Black Mist, one fold after another of the mist ingested by the flas. The environnt, once obscured by the Black Mist, began to slowly beco clear, but at a cost— the temperature in the air started to soar dramatically.

On the ground, the plants that had wilted after having their life force sucked away by the Black Mist now combusted amidst the searing heat, and the land began to turn charred black.

Near Muria, cracks ford in the earth, and from within these fissures, golden-red Magma roiled.

The once silent deadland covered by the Black Mist transford into a landscape filled with the air of destruction, a land of Lava.

After Muria established his domain using his own power, the lowest-ranking Corpse Ghosts that charged at him burned to cinders in the intense heat without the need for him to act.

The remaining Corpse Ghosts, as they surged toward Muria, had to step into the Lava that had surfaced due to Muria’s power, which caused so of the less powerful servants to be consud by the Lava.

Just as the strongest batch of Corpse Servants was about to reach Muria, Fla Giants one after another erged from the pools of Magma and engaged in battle with these Corpse Ghosts.

Muria, disregarding the Fla Giants battling the Corpse Ghosts around him—creatures that naturally spawned from his power—began to move. Each step he took lted the ground, leaving behind footprints brimming with small pools of Lava.

Walking within the Domain he had constructed, the Fire Domain, Muria could feel the enveloped Black Mist Domain struggling within, attempting to escape his domain with desperate twists and turns.

The Ghost realized things were not looking good; it found that this ti, it had potentially kicked a steel plate. No, not just a steel plate, but rather, it had run into a pit bristling with steel spikes—a certain death.

“Co out, didn’t you say you wanted to devour ? What’s with all this hide-and-seek?” Muria said, looking at the thinning Black Mist within his domain, speaking with a chuckle.

At this ti, his body was still changing slowly; his purification had not stopped. It’s worth noting that the heart of a Balrog typically contains more than thirty percent of a Fla Demon’s power.

“You’re not Yama, what exactly are you?” At a position thousands of ters away from Muria, a faint black mist nearly invisible coalesced into a human face, and then posed a question to Muria.

“Didn’t you adamantly assert that I was Yama before? Why do you now directly deny it?” Muria asked with a chuckle. He found the Ghoul’s change in attitude from one mont to the next quite interesting.

“Do you take

for an idiot who has never seen the real Yama? A person with the blood of Yama, no matter how many tis they awaken, will never have wings on their back.”

“What’s the big deal about wings? Maybe I’m just a mutant,” Muria said dismissively.

“Bullshit. The power of Yama, besides rging with us Ghosts and Thunder Beasts, and a few other powers, is incompatible with all other forces upon impact.”

Hearing Muria’s words, the Ghost imdiately cursed loudly because it felt like this guy was taking it for a fool.

“Ghosts, Thunder Beasts, what else?” Muria’s interest piqued when he heard this Ghost unwittingly reveal that information.

Even now, after he had rged with a heart from a Balrog Fla Demon at the Legendary Peak, his body felt like it was going to be burst by the power. He still had a longing for Ghosts, a craving to absorb them to fill what was missing.

And now, based on the information revealed by the Ghoul’s words, it seed like he might also rge with other forces, or in other words, what he was missing wasn’t limited to just Ghosts.

“Sure enough, you’re just an impostor; you’re not Yama—this is common sense for all of us.”

The Ghoul, realizing that Muria’s power was still increasing, was completely terrified. It let out a frantic scream, streams of black Qi converging at the furthest position from Muria, then fiercely slamd against the barrier of Muria’s Domain in a crazed attempt to escape.

“No, I am the real Yama, just a variant. If you don’t believe , feel it for yourself. You should still have an inherent urge to devour ,” Muria said with a smile, watching the Ghost trying to divert his attention to flee.

He was growing stronger by the mont. In other words, the Domain he had laid out was also strengthening every mont. If the Ghost couldn’t break out and escape from the outset, it ant that unless Muria willingly released it, it would never be able to escape.

The Ghoul, upon hearing Muria’s words, paused briefly, sensed for a mont, and then, dumbfounded, found that it actually did want to devour Muria now, and that desire was even stronger than before. Yet, under the threat of death, it had ignored this feeling.

But the Ghoul quickly realized sothing. If it felt the urge to devour Muria, then surely Muria would also want to devour it.

Thus, the Ghoul began to attack the Domain’s barrier even more frantically. Within the massive Fire Domain, the remnants of the Black Mist, torn apart by the spontaneously manifested flas, converged at the sa spot.

A humanoid figure of black mist, nearly a hundred ters tall, took form. The Ghoul slamd into the barrier in vain, its efforts futile.

“If I devour you, what kind of change will occur in ? I wonder if you could answer that for ?” Muria said curiously, appearing like a flash behind the real body of the Ghoul.

“Spare !” Upon hearing Muria’s words, The Ghost nearly collapsed emotionally. It was a Ghost, one of the most difficult to kill. It had survived the war that led to its exile, but now it faced the possibility of being consud by a Monster in this desolate land.

“Don’t wish to answer? Then I’ll just let my instincts take over and give it a try for myself. I doubt you can poison

to death.”

Muria murmured to himself, then opened his mouth towards the giant black mist figure in front of him. Next, his mouth emitted a terrifying absorbing power, which acted upon the black mist giant.

Under the influence of this absorbing force, the body of the black mist giant collapsed instantaneously, turning into streams of black Qi that rged into Muria’s body.

At the sa ti, within the Fire Domain, where there seed to be no traces of the black mist remaining, faint streams of black Qi appeared, also absorbed by Muria.

“Spare !” A weak will resonated within Muria’s body but was rcilessly eradicated by Muria the next instant.

Then, the black Qi ford from the Ghost upon its death, all surged into his heart, spreading a chilling sensation within it.

“Interesting,” Muria murmured with closed eyes, savoring the mont. When he opened his eyes, they had turned a crimson red, identical to the Ghoul he faced before…
