Are you really going to do this? Are you really going to do this!
Why can’t I do this? Why can’t I do this!
Once you truly do it, there’s no turning back!
I can’t turn back anymore!
This is unfair to Keira!
Who has ever been fair to ! Why should I be toyed with by that bastard, never able to escape, why should so people stay out of it and be smug, why!
You need to think it over, she’s your friend, the only friend you can still talk with about secrets, if you do this, how will you face her? How will you face her!
Natalie clutched her forehead, two completely opposing thoughts clashing fiercely in her mind like drops of water dripping into a sizzling pan, causing her imnse anguish. She truly wanted to scream loudly at the party, disregarding everything.
Then, a voice sounded in her ear: "What are you doing, Nata? Why haven’t you co back for so long, or can’t they mix it?"
"Kay... Keira?" Natalie suddenly looked up, Keira’s face imdiately appearing in front of her, then showing an expression of concern: "What’s wrong? You don’t look well."
"I... just feel a bit unwell." Natalie forced a smile, her chaotic thoughts leaving her montarily unsure of what to say.
"Then go back and rest, after all, you’re just staying here, if you want to see the scenery, you can also co to my room." Keira said comfortingly, and then took a big drink from the pink lady on the table, at a speed so fast and without warning. Natalie could only scream and then watch as she drank it down.
"What’s wrong?" Keira asked cluelessly after setting down the glass.
"Uh..." Almost instantly, Natalie adjusted herself, making her surprise seem sowhat exaggerated, "This cocktail... doesn’t seem well-mixed."
"Really?" Keira took another small sip, savored it in her mouth, then nodded, "Indeed, the sourness seems a bit strong, but it’s okay, a bit sour is also a style."
Then she seriously asked again, "Do you need to go up and rest for a while?"
"No, no need," Natalie hastily replied, "Let sit here alone for a bit, calm down."
"Really no need?" Keira asked again.
"Really no need." Natalie repeated.
"Okay, then I’ll go wander sowhere else?" Keira cheerfully raised the glass in her hand, then walked into the crowd.
Only at this mont did Natalie let out a long breath, then in short gasps, lowered her head again and clutched her head, her palms full of sweat.
This is not my fault, I originally wanted to stop it, I originally wanted to stop it! This is God’s arrangent, this is Keira’s choice, this is a coincidence, this is not my fault! She repeatedly told herself in her heart, only raising her head after a mont. Although her eyes were slightly red, her body’s slight trembling had stopped, and her hands were clenched tightly.
"A whiskey, please." After downing her sweet Manhattan in one gulp, Natalie imdiately called to the bartender.
After drinking several glasses, feeling she was about ready, she got up and left the bar. She crossed through the hall for a mont, dealt with so who ca to greet her, and finally spotted Adrian’s figure, just as he finished chatting with soone and was looking around for sothing. Natalie took a deep breath and then pretended to be sowhat drunkenly swaying as she walked up to him.
"I don’t want to stay here any longer, I’m going back to my room to rest, don’t bother tonight." Natalie said to Adrian, blowing her alcohol-laced breath, her eyes glazed.
"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow, showing an interested expression, "Looks like you’ve had quite a bit, that’s rare, Nata."
"That’s none of your business," Natalie assud a nonchalant deanor with a hint of self-destruction, "I don’t want to see you in my room tonight, that’s it!"
Usually, given Adrian’s behavior, the less she wanted to do sothing, the more he’d want to do it. Perhaps he hadn’t planned to go to her room tonight, but since she said it, he would definitely go. Natalie believed her act should bring about the desired outco.
Sure enough, he moved closer, gazing at her with a half-smile, lowering his voice: "What if I happen to show up in your room? I have your room key card, don’t I?"
Natalie glared at him, taking a deep breath: "Then you’d better drink more, drink till you’re half-drunk, I don’t want to see you in a high and mighty manner!"
She almost gritted her teeth as she said it, then turned and left before he could respond, Despite not seeing his expression, she believed there was at least an eighty percent chance he’d drink until half-drunk before going to her room. He was just that kind of person, arrogant, holding tight to the crucial parts yet allowing many minor things to slip by to show his generosity. This had given Natalie an opportunity, and now, she had only one thing left to do.
"Oh, really? Haha, that’s ridiculous, I must go and see, absolutely must!" Keira laughed amid several sowhat unfamiliar n and won, her hands waving in a seemingly excited manner.
"Keira? Are you okay?" Natalie calculated the ti in her mind, walking over.
"Hey, Nata, oh, you’re so adorable, I’m fine, very fine, never felt better than now." Keira said with a noticeably exhilarated tone, her face flushed.
"Uh... maybe you should go back and rest for a while, Keira." Natalie shook her head, putting on a displeased expression, completely different from her previous half-drunken deanor. Then she smiled at the n and won, tugging at her to leave.
"Hey, what are you doing, Nata, I want to stay a bit longer." Keira was sowhat reluctant, breaking free and wanting to find the waiter to grab a wine glass.
"Alright, Keira, stop it." Natalie’s brow furrowed slightly unnoticeably, her outside showing a "don’t be like this" look, grabbing her again.
After glancing around and not seeing Adrian, she let out a small sigh of relief, then continued to persuade: "Look at yourself now, who knows how much you’ve drunk, better go back, Keira."
Maybe the drug’s effects beca stronger, or maybe Keira indeed sensed sothing off in herself, under Natalie’s coaxing and bluffing, she finally agreed to leave the hall, heading upstairs, all the while talking nonsense without stopping.
"Look, look, there’s a butterfly flying by, purple wings, I like The Color Purple."
"Have you ever felt this way, Nata, so light, as if walking on clouds, wow, this feeling is amazing."
"I’m starting to feel sleepy now, I want to sleep, sleep well, don’t want anything, don’t want anything."
"Yes, yes, this is good, very nice." Natalie continuously echoed, helping the now staggering Keira out of the elevator, then gestured to a passing waiter.
"Can you help ? Help open this room for ." She handed her key card to the responding waiter, with the room number... her room number.
"Alright, Ms. Portman, please wait a mont." The waiter was montarily stunned, though slightly puzzled, he quickly complied, as a hotel staffer, especially serving the high-level suites, knew when and what to do.
Thus, Natalie finally managed to bring Keira into the suite, and as the now becoming confused Keira fell onto the bed in the bedroom, she essentially didn’t move again, just kept muttering unintelligible gibberish softly. Until this mont, Natalie finally could rest, although there was a little mishap, it was all largely under control, to achieve the intended effects of the date rape drug, she had personally tested several tis in recent days.
But she did not rest long, soon she got up again to undo Keira’s bun, combed it briefly, and then twisted it into a ss. Following that, she took off her evening gown and replaced it with her own, although it was a bit short, she couldn’t care much about that. Besides, she carefully partly removed Keira’s makeup and applied so of her own, at least... in the dark, looking indistinguishable from herself.
After finishing all this, Natalie finally sighed in relief, sitting tiredly on the sofa by the bed, gazing with complex eyes at Keira who was still murmuring sothing. But before she could express any sentint, the sound of the door opening ca from outside, Natalie jumped up at once, how could that guy be so quick to co up?
But clearly now wasn’t the ti for such thoughts, as the noise outside increased, Natalie, in her jump-up mont, spun around several tis, eventually gritting her teeth and hiding in the suite bedroom’s closet. Just as she squeezed in, the bedroom door was pushed open, even through the slit of the closet wooden doors, she could still discern Adrian’s tall figure.
"Ha, already asleep?" he said, his voice rasping, clearly having drunk quite a bit, then, without saying anything else, he stripped off his clothes and climbed into bed.
Natalie dared not look, leaning back to close her eyes as much as possible, as if nothing was happening outside, yet the sounds from outside continued to invade her ears.
"What... what are you doing..."
"Hey, darling, don’t you think these questions are silly?"
"Wait... wait... no, I don’t... ah..."
"I have to say... your acting is really good, just like the first ti..."
Natalie bit her lip tightly.
————————————
The water gushed from the tap continuously as Natalie frantically scrubbed her fingers. She breathed heavily through her nose, gritting her teeth as if she wished to scrub the skin off her hands. She wasn’t a germophobe, but... earlier she hadn’t managed to leave the suite, when Adrian ca, forcing her to hide in the closet, listening for a long ti to Keira’s moans until it was over. Only then did she sneak away to Keira’s suite while Adrian was in the shower.
That wasn’t the point, the point was... she actually reacted while eavesdropping! Even in the end, she couldn’t help but start to pleasure herself while listening!
With a clang, the thought suddenly enraged Natalie, sweeping the bottles and jars from the sink onto the floor. She panted heavily, glaring at them with gritted teeth like a wounded beast. Then, she let out a light chuckle, turned around, and splashed several handfuls of water onto her face, finally looking up at the mirror before her.
Her face, beaded with water, was an abnormal shade of red, her features slightly twisted, her eyes red. After staring for a long ti, she started to laugh again, quietly, with a hint of unspeakable madness.
In the end, you were outsmarted by once, in the end!
Finally, Natalie steadied her breathing, tied the belt of her nightgown, and erged from the bathroom, only to freeze as soon as she ca out, involuntarily trembling because Adrian was sitting on the sofa outside, waving his hand at her: "Hi."
Though it was just simple clothes like a shirt and trousers, and his face still had a flush, seemingly not fully rid of the alcohol’s effect, that expression full of profound aning gave an unsettling chill inside.
"You... how co..." she struggled to squeeze out a smile from her stiff face.
"How am I here, right?" Adrian spread his hands, grinning, then scratched his head, "How can I put it, I just watched a segnt of ’King Lear’, a story of two sisters who betrayed each other. But from a personal perspective, I found it more like a scene from Harold Pinter’s play ’Betrayal,’ very brilliant. So... I wanted to co see the actor to express my respect."
Natalie’s body beca a bit stiff: "You said... you wanted a substitute."
"Yes, yes," Adrian stood up, "I just didn’t expect you to be so quick and... so ruthless! You know, half an hour ago, you and Keira were still chatting happily downstairs."
He took a few steps toward her, looking down at her with an ever-playful smile.
Natalie’s face turned much paler, taking a few steps back, and then leaning against the wall: "Isn’t this... what you wanted to see?"
Adrian smiled, leaned in to her neck, taking a deep breath: "Frankly, Nata, we truly are a perfect match because, in a way, we have exactly the sa traits."
He reached out, pressing her against the wall, began to roam over her body, then slid a hand into her robe, moving toward between her legs.
"No, I have... nothing in common with you..." Natalie struggled weakly.
"No, no, no, you just haven’t realized it yet." Adrian lifted her legs, then unzipped and pressed against her, his eyes unblinking as he looked at her.
"You and I are the sa, always putting ourselves first, always considering our own interests first," he whispered in her ear, "You’re as selfish as I am!"
As he uttered the last sentence, he thrust upwards suddenly, and she imdiately trembled, letting out a whimper.
"No... it’s not..." Natalie showed a terrified expression, but soon couldn’t speak due to the impact of the movent, and Adrian’s voice followed again: "I know you had feelings for , you liked a lot, but when you felt you couldn’t get more from , you didn’t hesitate to want to throw away, not because of feelings, but because of interests, you admitted that at the ti."
"I had no choice but to agree, you threatened ..." Natalie gritted her teeth and shouted under the impact.
"Yes, once your interests are violated, once you find yourself getting nothing, you imdiately compromise, also without hesitation," Adrian kept saying, his tone becoming more excited, his actions getting bigger, "You’re always thinking about yourself, pretending to be uncooperative just to make yourself feel a little better, just wanting to tell yourself, look, this wasn’t my choice! It was that man who forced ! But, if there’s a chance to climb up, you’ll imdiately pounce! Recall it well! Think it over! Think about the things you’ve done!"
"No! It was because you said it was a deal, and you threatened to..." Natalie tightly closed her eyes, shaking her head desperately as if she wanted to completely expel those mories from her mind.
"Parents? Family? Friends? That’s just your excuse!" Adrian said viciously, "To tell yourself, it’s not that I don’t want to break free, I just don’t want to implicate family and friends! Haha, so great, your best friend, your confidante with whom you share everything, is currently lying in your room! As a gift to , as your substitute, lying there!"
"You forced ! You forced !" Natalie shouted hopelessly with a sobbing tone.
"Did you hear her screams, huh? Did you hear her moans, huh? Tell , what did it feel like, huh? What does it feel like to betray your friend, huh?" Adrian sneered, suddenly stopping his actions, then leaned over to her ear again: "Do you really think I don’t know what you’re calculating, Nata? You know Keira’s personality is twisted, don’t you? You know she cares whether I respect her, don’t you? You know once she’s stimulated, she’ll stop at nothing, don’t you?"
With each question, Natalie trembled once, and the fear and disbelief in her eyes grew.
"You betrayed her, betrayed your best friend, not to find yourself a substitute, you hoped that after she was stimulated, she’d cause a big scene, let everything out, and when this matter escalated, when I’m troubled by it, when I’m busy retaliating against her, you can smoothly escape, you never hoped for my promise, you had a scapegoat ready all along!" Adrian said cruelly in her ear, "Nata, you’re really venomous, aren’t you?"
"No!" Natalie scread madly, she cried loudly, twisting her limbs desperately struggling, "I never thought that way! I didn’t! You’re lying! Lying!"
She scread, tightly hugging Adrian, biting hard onto his shoulder, as if she wouldn’t stop until she tore off a piece of flesh, her eyes filled with endless hatred and fear.
"Do you really think Keira will be manipulated by you?" Adrian said nonchalantly, "With your intelligence, why don’t you think, how could it be difficult for to have Keira."
In the midst of biting, Natalie shuddered violently, with eyes full of incredulity, she slowly released her mouth, then looked at him, her body trembled violently.
"I’ve always kept her for you," the Demon’s voice rang in her ear, "If I wanted, I could have slept with Keira as early as five or six years ago, but I didn’t, I kept stimulating her, continuously twisting her, keeping her a virgin, letting her be eccentric yet not annoying, making her the most special among my won. Then, as expected, you and she beca friends, then, as expected, you envied and were jealous of her, then, as expected, you betrayed her and made her a pawn."
With each sentence Adrian said, Natalie’s body twitched once, her gaze becoming increasingly crazed, her throat letting out gurgling sounds.
"You see, that’s the difference between you and , I can spend years preparing, I can patiently wait for the perfect opportunity, while you always only see what’s in front of you and foolishly cling to it. So, you can never escape my grasp, so you failed my test," Adrian suddenly intensified, "Do you like this gift? Selfish betrayer Natalie Portman."
Suddenly, without any warning, Natalie scread frantically, wildly crying and screaming, shaking her head and twisting her body, completely breaking down.
It lasted for several tens of seconds, and just as Natalie was gradually calming down, Adrian finally let go. Then, she softly slumped down, her head drooping to one side like a doll with its fabric torn open, all its stuffing gone, the tears and saliva staining her face clearly visible, but those eyes were hollow, lifeless, as if sothing had shattered completely inside, only occasionally did her body twitch nervously.
Adrian nonchalantly adjusted his belt, then held her head, pressing it forward, initially she instinctively resisted, but soon opened her mouth and kneeled up, at first a bit clumsy, but she quickly started fervently sucking.
"Behold! The heavens and the heavens of heavens, the earth and all within it, are the Lord’s, your God! Therefore, remove the filth from your hearts, and be not stiff-necked any longer! For the Lord, your God, is God of gods, Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and aweso, not partial and takes no bribe! He is your praise, He is your God, who has done for you these great and aweso things which your eyes have seen!" Adrian spread his arms, enjoying her service ecstatically while loudly reciting from the Old Testant.
Then, amidst this ecstasy, in her inaugural oral service, it gushed out. (To be continued. If you like this work, please visit Qidian (qidian) to vote for recomndations and monthly tickets, your support is my greatest motivation.)
