"Damn it, Ed, could you not have waited a few minutes? I just got up," Claude’s voice ca through the phone.

"Uh..." Adrian hesitated for a mont, his gaze fixated on three young ladies in front of him, "Sorry, Claude, our conversation might be delayed a bit."

Then, amid the other end’s "Hello? Hello?" "Wait a second," "What did you say," he hung up the phone, assessed the three girls again, the one on the far left, Song Hye-kyo, wore a white chiffon blouse with a U-shaped neckline revealing a delicate collarbone and a slight cleavage, below were trousers bound at the ankles and high heels, very much in the style of "Autumn in My Heart," yet with a hint of sexiness. However, she kept her head down slightly, not daring to et Adrian’s eyes, the strongest emotions she conveyed were anxiety and sadness.

The middle one, Jun Ji-hyun, was wrapped in a goose-yellow trench coat, her long legs in flesh-colored stockings exposed, her posture confident like a scene from "My Sassy Girl," though she also looked timid and slightly embarrassed, but comparatively more composed than Song Hye-kyo, just feeling awkward standing there with them. As for the one on the right, Lee Hyo-ri, in a shirt and over a long-sleeved vest, with hotpants up to the thigh roots exposed, her legs might not be as long as Jun Ji-hyun’s, but they were noticeably firm, and her curves just as appealing, just tilting her head, exhibiting unease mixed with a bit of anger and a lot more resignation.

In just a few minutes, Adrian got a general grasp of their characters and made a welcoming gesture with his body, "Co in."

It seed like an extravagant move. He couldn’t help but admire it internally. On the way back earlier, Adrian had pondered how Chung Mong-kyu would respond; those repeated hints were to test their desperation for AC dia and to see how detailed their information on him was.

However, what he hadn’t expected was their rapid and... abundant response. Likely the mont he spoke, they had started making contacts, and by the ti he got back to the hotel, the three won might have already been waiting downstairs. Really, in the entertainnt industry, the status of South Korean won was even lower than that of won in Japan.

He suddenly rembered the rumor about Chung Mong-kyu, the one about maintaining Lee Hyo-ri, which was what initially helped him rember Hyundai Motors, thus now having more influence. Clearly, within such a context, it was very likely true that if it wasn’t Chung Mong-kyu, it would be soone else, really...

"What... what is going on?" As Song Hye-kyo and the others entered one by one, Ivanka, still processing the docunts, abruptly widened her eyes, although after taking over as the private secretary, Charlize had briefed her about Japan, and she was sowhat prepared for South Korea, this was still too much...

"It’s just as you see," Adrian said with a smile, spreading his hands, while the three South Korean won, not expecting another person in the room, and one who seed to be an important figure’s lover at that, were montarily at a loss.

"No wonder you hung up on Claude," Ivanka rolled her eyes, imdiately closed her laptop, picked it up, and walked out, "Then enjoy yourself."

Saying so, she walked straight out without looking back, visibly upset, but Adrian could only let her be for now, how could he ignore the three won in front of him? And maybe... this was also a good opportunity...

"Take a seat," Adrian gestured the three won towards the couch.

They all obediently sat down, apart from the initial unclear mumbling, and remained mostly silent throughout, their expressions largely unchanged, making the atmosphere sowhat awkward.

"Then, how about this," Adrian broke the silence, "Let’s start with so introductions, so I can get to know you all better."

He looked at the three won, his gaze finally resting on Jun Ji-hyun, "Miss Jun, why don’t you start?"

"Wha... what?" Jun Ji-hyun looked at him blankly, thankfully quickly catching on, and stamred, "So...sorry, sir, my... my English is not... very... good..."

She was almost speaking word by word, and her pronunciation was quite poor; apparently, there was no "F" sound in Korean, yet Adrian understood her nonetheless, promptly frowning. Although he was adept at adjusting the atmosphere, if the conversation was stuttering, even the best thods would be less effective - how could Chung Mong-kyu and his team overlook this?

Although he mocked them inwardly, Adrian quickly refocused, without showing any sign on his face, he cleared his throat and continued, "Let’s start from Miss Jun then, take your ti, we have all evening, no rush."

This ti, speaking slowly and gesturing, he finally made all three won understand. Then, their expressions subtly changed, Jun Ji-hyun seed resigned, Lee Hyo-ri’s anger had dissipated but was replaced with unease due to irritation, while Song Hye-kyo, mostly keeping her head down, unconsciously hugged her arms and rubbed them after understanding "we have all evening."

Starting from pointing at the table asking about Korean pronunciation, he slowly turned this language exchange into a ga. After several deliberate jokes, all three won couldn’t help but laugh, even the constantly downcast Song Hye-kyo covered her mouth. Gradually, the atmosphere started to enliven. They must have been under a lot of pressure before coming here, and discovering that they were three together here only added to that pressure, plus directions from their inner thoughts, moral views, and others’ gazes. Once accumulated too much, having a sudden outlet, negative emotions would swarm out, and the self-protection chanism would ignore so unpleasant things to facilitate this release.

Next—

"It’s delightful to find Romanee-Conti here; you know, the wines from their vineyard are highly collectible." Adrian picked a bottle of red wine and four glasses from the hotel suite’s bar cabinet.

Miss Jun imdiately responded in Korean, which Adrian couldn’t understand, but from her expression, it was clear that she was mocking sothing. Lee Hyo-ri’s voice raised in displeasure and the two won started arguing, with Song Hye-kyo, the one who spoke the least from beginning to end, having to comfort them quietly on the side.

Good, Adrian thought with a smile inwardly; if his mory served him right, these three were won who liked to drink, and alcohol often played an essential role in flirting, especially red wine.

"Stop! Stop! Stop!" He walked over, glad that "stop" was a simple and easily understood word, and imdiately got them to cease.

"I’m sorry I don’t understand what you’re arguing about, but it definitely involves red wine. So rather than argue, why don’t we taste it? I believe you’ll all like it before you even try," Adrian spoke slowly in a rhythm they could understand, then skillfully poured a little into four glasses and pushed them toward the won.

What followed was wine tasting, and then a new round of verbal gas centered on red wine, led purposefully by Adrian and aided by the influence of alcohol. Even Song Hye-kyo began to talk more. They then tried several other drinks, like whiskey and tequila—just tasting. The atmosphere grew livelier, and the won beca more open.

Lee Hyo-ri imdiately began giggling, while Miss Jun pulled Song Hye-kyo closer and patted her back.

"What did you just say to her?" Adrian asked Lee Hyo-ri, who was in his arms.

"I said, since I and Jun have already drunk, she should too," Lee Hyo-ri said, swaying and giggling.

But when Adrian leaned in to kiss her, Lee Hyo-ri involuntarily dodged and her eyelids drooped, seemingly resistant. Adrian was montarily stunned. However, an empathetic person soon intervened. Miss Jun leaned in too, wrapped her arms around Adrian’s neck, and kissed him on the mouth.

"Sorry, Mr. Li, I’m late," Adrian said as he got out of the car and greeted Lee Kun-hee, who had co out to welco him personally.

"No problem, I’m sure Mr. Cowell was very busy last night," Lee Kun-hee said with a smile that showed no sign of jesting, "I wonder if you were satisfied."

"Very satisfied," Adrian, looking refreshed, didn’t bother with formalities, "so much so that I think I should stay here a few more days."

Indeed, he was very satisfied. A series of vigorous encounters left Adrian thoroughly entertained. Lee Hyo-ri was proactive and responsive, a perfect participant. Song Hye-kyo, though shy and conservative, could also perform more boldly once she opened up. Although Miss Jun was not as adept in these respects as the others, she balanced them well in bed, making her indispensable. Heh, pulling together South Korea’s representative won from film, music, and television for fun—how could he not be satisfied?

"Is that so?" Lee Kun-hee narrowed his eyes slightly.

He could tell there was a dual implication in Adrian’s words. One was satisfaction with their "little gift" and a hope to continue being accompanied by them in the coming days. This was easy; all it took was to make a quick call, and these won would be available whenever he wanted. However... Lee Kun-hee, a bit envious, noted Adrian’s joy from last night and his lack of any fatigue. Youth really is wonderful.

As for the second implication, his intention to stay a few more days for a more detailed exploration suggested a high potential for collaboration, deeper and more comprehensive, otherwise he wouldn’t have specifically requested those three won continue to accompany him.

"I guarantee you will be satisfied during the ti ahead," Lee Kun-hee promptly responded.

"I believe that," Adrian nodded, "Let’s go inside and take a look at Samsung’s capabilities."

Lee Kun-hee imdiately made a welcoming gesture, and the pair walked toward the interior of the Samsung factory.

Although Adrian took an extensive tour and occasionally spoke quietly with the head of AC dia, who had previously contacted Samsung, and occasionally asked a few questions to the Samsung technicians, his mind wasn’t really on this. Given his awareness of Samsung’s capabilities, thanks to Apple, he was far more aware than even Lee Kun-hee, collaboration was decidedly certain. But what mattered to him was not just that.

Having thoroughly gathered the relevant information, Adrian harbored a bigger ambition. Rember, AC dia was a major shareholder in Apple and had also invested in Google, and Adrian himself had privately owned quite a few RIM shares before 2000. While not a major shareholder, he could seek a position on the board with just a little maneuvering. After finalizing his plans, he imdiately had soone collect the information on Andy Robin and started to pay attention to him.

So, his thinking was simple, Standards! The developnt standards for smartphone operating systems! (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welco to vote on Qidian. Your support is my greatest motivation.)
