"I don’t know, but I really think they are working for the good of the people. All the people," Arroyo answered.

"You heard that crap about moral failures," Hernandez carped, "That sounds like so sort of religious cult."

"I think if they were a religious group, there would have been so ntion of prayer or thanking God, but we haven’t seen one ntion of anything like that even in their dealings with the new works crews. They didn’t even ask them about religion as far as I know," Morales replied.

"I agree," Arroyo added. "In all the ti I’ve dealt with Miss Flores, she has never once ntioned God, prayer, or religion. Yet they do seem to have a high regard for morality and ethics. And I suppose they place a lot of importance on forgiveness." After a mont’s pause, he continued, "Wait, they did use analogies and references to the old Mayan Gods in so of their communications early on..."

"She’s not even from here, how could she be involved with the old Mayan religion?"

"Is she Arican, do you think? That was a good catch about yards instead of ters!"

"She must be, but her Spanish is perfect, and she even has a real Peruvian accent, as if she spent her whole life in Lima."

Dad and I were still watching, as Mom walked into the status room. "Well, how did I do?"

"You were great Mom!"

"You did fine. You can’t fault yourself for the tric system slip-up. I think we can safely bla that on the French," Dad quipped.

Mom turned to him smiling proudly, "Oh Dan, you did pay attention in European History class. I’m so proud of you." Then she rolled her eyes ironically. "Joe, can you print up a set of docunts with Maria Isabel’s statent, and the evidence files? We’ll read through it and I’ll sign them. Can you get them delivered in about three and half hours to the offices in DC and New York? Send a copy to the President, Congress, and Supre Court of Colombia, too. Be sure not to include a return address and leave no indication that it ca from Guatemalan territory. You can include a phone number that routes to you and you can forward it if they should want to contact , and maybe a drop box in New York and another in DC, if they prefer to exchange written docunts for legal proceedings."

"Anything I’m forgetting?" She asked, turning back to Dad and .

"I think you’ve got it all covered," Dad replied.

"Yeah, sounds good," I agreed, "I’d love to be a fly on the wall when the Colombians read that statent!"

"You’ll have to settle for a drone on the ceiling..." Mom couldn’t help giggling at her own joke. I don’t bla her. It was pretty funny.

Dad just rolled his eyes in an exaggerated fashion, mimicking the way Mom had rolled her eyes at him just a mont before.

"All right, enough fun and gas," I stated in a pseudo-parental voice, "We’ve got work to do. We’ve got three dical clinics up and running in Guatemala under the Health First banner and another Mobile Clinic traveling around the country. All offer free services and employ local people for all the support staff positions. We have security coverage for each with one man on duty 24/7. Each has a single sensor drone scanning for weapons or threats as people approach the facilities. The buildings and staff are not shielded. We used existing buildings and equipped them using fabrication chs. We have licensed doctors working at all of them, and the three non-mobile clinics have a robotic surgery unit for the complicated stuff. They all perform full body scans looking for the very earliest stages of various cancers, before they can cause any real damage. With the technology we have available, we are able to remove cancers at the cellular level for complete cures. Organs or other tissues damaged by the cancers are being manually repaired. We are not doing any other sort of rejuvenation therapies or treatnts."

"I want to add a scanner and a chanized treatnt unit to the cancer wards of every hospital in Guatemala to start. Each will be equipped with a warning sensor alerting us if any attempt is made to open the covers and reverse engineer it. If necessary, we can send a signal to destroy the circuitry and any tech that might lead one to believe it’s other worldly. And let’s get started on clinics in Chiapas, as well, Joe."

"Joe, how’s Millie doing?"

"Who’s Millie?" Mom asked.

"Dr. Wagner’s dog, the one we’re making young again to prove to him it’s safe," I answered.

"She’s doing well. She will start phase two today. Dr. Wagner will start phase one. He’s seen enough to convince him it’s worth doing," Joe advised.

"Nice! Can you set up a eting with Donaldson and anybody else you’ve vetted from his recruits at the research center? Let know when it is and send there in person. I want to et everybody and see how they’re adapting. Is Donaldson doing well with the implanted physics and math training?"

"Yes, he is the only one to complete it. He’s spending an excessive amount of ti... just being amazed at everything he didn’t know or had wrong. Almost as if in a trance, sotis for hours... We may need to intervene with counseling. Perhaps you can get him back on track, King Tim?"

"Yeah, I can remind him that he’s here for practical applications , you know, saving the human race form extraterrestrial threats. Anyway, I really want to be a part of the research efforts. Can you schedule ti to be there, maybe an hour or two every day?"

"Acknowledged."

"How’s Rafael doing? Making any progress?"

"So progress, yes. More ti is needed before I have any update on the prognosis."

"OK, in the anti, can you walk around in his android form a little so people see him in Guatemala. Just enough to make sure nobody thinks he’s missing or has left the country. Avoid direct interactions with people who know him as much as you can."

"Acknowledged."

"Maybe he and Maribel can tour the clinics or sothing. Mom, I think you need to be seen there, too. We want you to be like one of the people just trying to help and not so fancy business lady who sits in a city office all day deciding what’s best for the commoners."

"I can do that," Mom agreed.

"Dad, I’m going to have to hand control of the northern xico operation to you. I’m trusting you to take care of it. I want it safe for the people who live there and drug-trafficking wiped out. You’re going to have to start working on the manufactured stuff and opiates since they’re doing a lot of that up there, especially after we stopped the flow of cocaine. Just rember the rules about using violence.

"Mom, you’re in charge of the diplomacy and overall strategy for Colombia, feel free to borrow Dad for any tactical or military stuff, he knows what assets we have and their capabilities pretty well."

I took a deep breath, "If everybody knows what they’re doing for a while, I’m going to visit Dr. Wagner. Joe, can you LITV to wherever he is? Put a room away, I don’t want to scare him by popping in out of thin air."

"Acknowledged."
